This was my second Dyson cordless vacuum and it was very nice. The newer versions keep getting better and better.

This vacuum is fairly light and easy to maneuver. I like how easy it is to empty the canister and change out the attachments. I do NOT like that you have to hold the trigger the entire time because their is no lock or hold for the button, my hand and finger gets tired and sore. The other thing I do NOT like is that it forcefully blows a decent amount of air from the back of the vacuum, which is quite unpleasant to try and avoid from blowing directly in my face.

Best I’ve ever owned! Lightweight and so easy to vacuum the steps. The cars. Suction is phenomenal. Wish the battery lasted longer but charges rather quickly.

Received today. Was excited to get my V7 Animal as my Dyson Ball Animal vacuum is awesome, and I was looking forward to a smaller vacuum for quick clean-ups. Unfortunately, the unit arrived without the power adapter, so I can't charge it. I called Dyson, and they are shipping me a replacement. The process was straight-forward with no questions asked - new adapter is in the mail. What was interesting is that, instead of the power adapter, the box contained a Shark branded crevice tool! I guess both are made at the same factory and someone messed up packing this particular box. 10/10 would definitely buy again, but bummed I can't use my V7 until the replacement power adapter arrives.

Nice little vacuum. Kinda fiffy at first getting one of these. Love how I dnt have to pull around a huge vac anymore. Plus cordless, cant go wrong with that. Only holds 30 min charge but I manage to work around charge times.

There is nothing like a Dyson for cleaning carpet and upholstery. I purchased the Dyson - V7 Animal Cord-free Stick Vacuum to clean a 500 sq. ft. space to keep ahead of the shedding of 3 dogs. I have another Dyson that I love but bringing it back and forth between two places is inconvenient. I upgraded to the V7 Animal and it has not disappointed me in performance. I wish the battery run time was longer, but it doesn't take too long to recharge the unit. It's compact, lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

This is the second Dyson stick vacuum that I’ve owned. I have tried other brands over the years and they typically stopped working after a year. My last Dyson lasted about 4-5 years before the battery started going bad. This unit works well and came with several more accessories than my last version. The suction is very good and the charge lasts a substantial amount of time to get my house done on a single charge. It is very easy to empty the contents into the trash.

Loved this so much we purchased a 2nd one to use upstairs. Really does the job! We have a small dog that sheds and this makes sure we never see the hair.

Love that it is lightweight, great suction and two suction settings. With multiple pets and hardwood flooring, it is perfect. I do wish the battery would last a bit longer though.

This vacuum is light weight and easy to move around the house. It picks up dirt well and is easy to clean. Customer service with Dyson is also great if you have questions/concerns.

Still expensive with a discount but I can tell this vacuum is easy to use and powerful enough to clean all the dirt and dust of my apartment. The only weak point for me is the duration of the battery, too short!

This has great suction for a handheld cordless vacuum. You have to hold a trigger to keep it working, which is a downer because I have arthritis and got this specifically because of it being light weight and easier for me to use. The regular carpet attachment is difficult to use on some surfaces because it doesn’t keep rolling and the suction stops, which is to prevent you from sucking up something you shouldn’t. I do think it is expensive for what it does.

So glad I invested in a Dyson. It’s incredibly easy to put together, charge and use. I’d encourage anyone buying this to register online with Dyson right away, because there are videos and guides that will answer any questions that you might have. I love how simple it is to store and it does a fantastic job on my area rugs and hardwood floors. There’s also a nice selection of attachments included that are simple to switch out and use as needed.

Bought V7 to replace a four-year old V6. V7 is quieter, more versatile, easier to empty, and more powerful. In another four years, I'll go for the V8

Product is great. Price is a bit too high. It's powerful and versatile. Love the compact design and ease of use. Cleaning filters is easy.

I have been pretty happy with this device. It is light and easy to do stairs, cars, and other harder to reach places with a regular vacuum. It is easy to empty and seems to have less maintenance than the Dyson cordless vacuum that I have. The only negative I have found is that the battery life isn't great. You can't use it for the whole house on an individual charge. A small apartment maybe, but anything bigger than that you will need to vacuum a little at a time and then charge. But if you don't mind doing this or this supplements your normal vaccum, then this thing is terrific.

This is our first Dyson product and I was wondering if it was all hype. Turns out there is a reason why people go crazy over Dyson! Their products are obviously in a higher price range, but we can see why. They quality is great. We love using this little vacuum and it’s so handy to go seamlessly from hardwood to carpet to area rugs. Great results and really helps with vacuuming more often because it’s so light weight and easy to use. Also works great with pet hair! We are really loving it. The ball design also makes it so easy to vacuum areas that are awkward to do with a normal heavy vacuum. I actually enjoy using this thing!

Holy smokes is this this cool! Who would have thought that a cordless vacuum could get someone so excited?! This thing is so convenient to use I find myself vacuuming just for the sake of vacuuming! I can fit it into just about any hard to reach space and it is quiet enough to not make the dogs absolutely lose it when im using it(our Shark vacuum used to make them FREAK out). Im in love guys, Dyson has my heart. Now I need to start saving for one of those fancy blades fans they make! Haha!!

Lots of power, plenty of attachments. We have a two story home with about 1100-1200 sq-ft downstairs, which is where this vacuum is primarily used. This vacuum handles everything and on all surfaces (wood, rugs, and tile) with aplomb. The regular setting is plenty powerful for handling most dirt and debris, however, the higher setting really gets the job done. It takes me about 20mins to get the aforementioned area cleaned with this vacuum, so its battery limitations are no problem for me. I am eager to use it to clean my cars myself once the weather gets warmer. Definitely satisfied with this product.

This vacuum is amazing. Easy to use, easy to clean, and quiet! My cat usually hates when I vacuum; now, she doesn't even look up from her cat bed. This is my first Dyson, and I am now a convert! I also love that it has multiple uses, from handheld to small spaces and of course traditional vacuuming. I did purchase this machine on sale; now that I know how well it works, I would be more likely to pay full price.
