It also works well on carpet when set to the high power settings & power brush running. Unfortunately the battery drains in about 7 minutes! Not really useful and returned it for a corded model.

Posted .Hi Bill, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Dyson V7 Animal Cord-Free vacuum. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. The total run time will be up to 30 minutes.
In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 20-30 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. It lasts under 30 minutes fully charged and the container is super small. It's marketed as a pet hair vacuum yet it was worthless using it on furniture. Not worth the price.

Now with this vacuum you see all the dust and hair is sucked up and the water in the mop bucket is clean. Wish I would have got it sooner. Also it’s faster than sweeping with a broom
