At first i wasn’t convinced because i had a hard time vacuuming my rugs… but now i got the hang of it. Its amazing how much dirt it picks up. My 3 year old son sees it as a toy and vacuums all the time. Definitely recommend it.

One of the biggest down sides is the battery life...its terrible lasting only 25 minutes on regular and 6 minutes in high.

Posted .Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've had issues with your Dyson V7 Animal. It does sound like the battery life is lasting as it should. The Dyson V7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

Worth the price!

It has a long battery life and picks up all the dirt the boys track in during the day, or should I say sand because no matter where you are in Florida, you somehow find a way to track sand in through your house.

Already used it for a detergent spill and a salt spill. Like the small compact area it needs to hang. A friend had one and recommended it and I bought that night off of the deal of the day. Great price and I have several Dyson Sweepers

Got it at a great price and works like a Dyson, because it is. Don't be afraid of the shorter battery life, it is plenty. Vacuuming is no longer a chore, it's like playing video games, it's fun.

I have a golden retriever and shedding hair is a big deal, this vacuum is very accessible and easy to use and super convenient...this was a steal on Black Friday Saturday deals! Super worth it!!

I used it to clean my car, my drapes, and my cat's favorite spot under the bed. The only downside is the battery can run out quickly if you use MAX suction. But, overall, an amazing machine.

Also have owned the Dyson v6 and I have to say that the v7 is worth the money for the upgrade because the v6 tends to clog up with fine particles (cleaning up sheet rock dust) but the v7 has never clogged on me.

I would recommend this product, however it is not as powerful as the V10 Cyclon which I also owned.
