I am happy to hear that thus far in your use, you've been happy with the quality of your Dyson V7 Animal cord-free vacuum. The Dyson V7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind. The V7 is intended for quick pick ups in between normal cleanings and if you prefer a longer run time, we would recommend one of our compact uprights or canister models.

Lasts about 25 to 30 minutes on max. Leaves plenty of time to go back and hit the spots you missed.
