The suction is great. I really like not having to drag a cord around. It's pretty lightweight. However, the charge does NOT last very long. I guess I should have read more about that. I vacuum a room or two and then have to charge it for about 3 hours. I believe the charge lasts about 30 minutes on regular and a LOT less on max.

Great prices and very convenient for quick easy cleaning around corners where dust builds up. Attachments are relatively easy to use . The V 7 is not very heavy and easy to maneuver.We love it and wish we would Bought one a long time ago.

This is my second Dyson stick. Love that they are light yet provide the suction needed to pull up the dirt. One feature I like on the V7 is that when you empty it, it pulls off everything. On my older one, I usually had to wipe it down. Finally, got it on Black Friday for a great price.

With three cats, I've never been able to vacuum up all the cat fur until now. Lightweight and a lot quieter than any standard vacuum. Even my old cat isn't bothered by it. I can honestly say I enjoy vacuuming now. And I bought one because my mom loves hers.

This is our second Dyson, very light weight, therefore, easy to use. Lots of attachment. Personally, I think it works best on wood or tile floors rather carpet. Not as powerful as the V-10 we already have. A little cumbersome to empty.

Easy to use, and very versatile. Battery does not last nearly as long as it says it does.

1 year with it and it's one of my favorite purchases. Cordless, lightweight. Got it on sale and used one of my rewards so the price wasn't as bad.

Its a little bigger than the V6 which gives you a bit more capacity. It is many times quieter. Like all Dysons it picks up stuff you didn’t know was there. Transitions well from hardwood to carpet. My only beef is that they changed the mounting system so you cannot clip on your V6 tools. The floor cleaner does work if you hold it on but they changed the clips so it won’t stay on. It would have been nice to use the old tools for car floormats and whatnot.

The vacuum has good suction. I like the various attachments. I wish the charge held longer.

The suction on this simple unit is incredible! It is light, easy to use and cleans Fur from the rug much better and easier than our corded, heavy duty vacuum. The array of attachments are great, and ease of use just amazing. Very happy with this unit. Bought the smooth floor attachment as well.

We’ve had this around a month now and it works pretty good. It would be nice to have more power, especially from something that costs this much. It was on the deal of the day so it was $100 off but still very pricey in my opinion. The battery life is true to the description and lasts about 15 to 20 minutes on standard speed and about 6 minutes on max suction. The fit and finish seem to be very good and it’s super easy to change attachments too. Emptying it is also very easy, just keep the unit over the top of the garbage can or you’ll be using your new vacuum to clean up that mess too! Overall we’re happy with it, we’ll see what the future brings.

Good cordless vacuum overall, but wish I had held off and picked up the 10 or 11 instead... Its great for cleaning the car, baseboards, ceilings, spot cleaning,and hard floors, but falls a little shy of the mark due to the small battery and slow recharge rate. If you don't have high pile carpet, it should be a good match. - Ejection on the dustbin is pretty easy, but a fair amount of debris will stick in the corners and door. Didn't think that would set off my OCD that much, but it does :( - Also, The door for the dustbin cannot be closed until the filter has been pushed back into place. Minor annoyance, which went away once I got used to it, after a few cleanings. ---But most of all... the 20-minute battery life ends up being more like 7 to 12 minutes on high pile carpet. This is sadly insufficient for a deep cleaning of more than one room at a time.

I bought this vacuum because I have a golden retriever that sheds all day, every day. Every time you pet her, every time she stands up or lays down. Every time she wags her tail. But I digress. I got tired of having to wheel out the corded vacuum every single day after work to suck up all the hair that collects in the corners and around the baseboards, so I bought this cordless vacuum. The convenience of this vacuum has made a considerable difference in keeping my house clean. I grab this vacuum at least 5 times a day to suck up the aforementioned fur, to suck up cheerios my son dumps on the floor, to suck up dirt my dog tracks in from the back yard, etc. After having used this vacuum for 4 months, I would not hesitate to buy it again in a heartbeat. I took one star off because it gets plugged up in certain choke points in the head and at the joints where different attachments connect. Seems to be a common issue I've had with any Dyson I've used; they require frequent internal cleaning to keep them functioning properly... assuming you're sucking up as much dog hair as I am.

I have a border collie so it doesn’t take long before I have tumble weeds of her hair going across the floor. I wanted something lightweight since I have stairs in my house, so when my friend recommended this vacuum, I had to try it. She let me borrow her v6 Animal vac and I was amazed, so I went ahead and bought the v7 on Black Friday. I love it!

This was purchased as a convenient second floor vacuum cleaner. We have a long haired dog and vacuuming is required on an almost daily basis. This Dyson works well and operates at full suction for approximately 30 minutes, which works well for us. Highly recommended.

I took a star off for the battery not lasting very long and it’s not interchangeable. This thing really sucks but in a good way. My wife has really gotten attached to it.

Coming from a corded vacuum I did not know what to expect. Was blown away at how well the Dyson v7 worked. Picked up alot of dirt right away that the old vacuum missed. Only downside was battery life. Seemed to get around 30 minutes of juice per charge, but only using a few minutes a day it seems like I do seems to last a week before a charge.

Great little stick vacuum for the price and it's a Dyson. Run time on Max suction says 20 minutes, but it is more like 15. If you're cleaning a bigger house I would get a bigger vacuum as this one will die and you will spend the next 3 hours waiting for it to recharge. Works great for smaller places though.

I hurt my back and couldn’t use my dyson ball vacuum. So I tried the cordless rechargeable vac and I could use it without hurting. I wish the run time was longer. I also wish you didn’t have to hold the trigger all the time. But very happy it works great and so light!
