Posted .Hi Casey, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review of the Dyson V7 Animal cordless. I'm happy to hear that you've been so pleased with the vacuum, up until this point. Your Dyson V7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

Geat looking Dyson vacumm but....

This vacumm in max speed with vaccum stick and main brush only lasted 6 minutes, and it take forever to charge. Who in the world would add a small bettery to an Animal of a vacumm?. By the way, I will return this item. Don't buy it, it sucks.
