Great suction, handy size and quick empty. Bought it because of our dogs. Does a great job cleaning tile floor and carpets.

This machine came by delivery like one day after i ordered it --unexpectedly fast. HOWEVER...i unpacked it all and i tried it out. And well i tried to empty it...EXCEPT is wouldnt release. So i called DYSON first because packaging says so...OK Well the representative advised me to pull really hard, even though i may feel like i will break it. I appraciated the advice, however I just didnt want to take a chance on a 300$ item. SO i called best buy. Best buy arranged for a FREE return and full replacement. It was here by the following week. Glad i made the exchange, because this this IS an animal. I have cleaned faster and easier with less effort than ever. if this thing lasts for like 10 years i will ONLY ever want to buy DYSON stick vac.

Perfect size! Powerful and easy to clean. Love it!

I brought this vacuum for my wife as one of her Christmas gifts (her idea not mine). She was ecstatic about having a vacuum that had great suction power with the convenience of being cordless. On Christmas Day she put it together (very simple instructions) and vacuumed the entire house, stairs and all. She loves being able to pull the vacuum out whenever she needs to without having to drag the cord behind her. Great buy for anyone tired of using a corded vacuum with the suction power Dyson is know for.

We have three wonderful critters with whom we share our house and one of them is a Great Pyrenees who tends to shed rather profusely. Plus, she picks up leaves and debris from the yard on her coat and feels compelled to bring everything inside. The Dyson is really handy for quick pickups -- it is lightweight and has a huge amount of suction. It's like Mary Poppins...practically perfect in every way!

This is a very powerful vacuum cleaner and it is super light. You can use it on very narrow spaces. Very satisfied so far

It is pretty neat. Our neighbor let us borrow theirs when they saw my wife using the hose from our upright vac to clean out back porch. It work ed really well and the cordless aspect was super convenient. Needless to say, once it went on sale, we bought one. The attachments clip on easily and the charging dock works well. Very impressed.

Previous to owning this model, I had the V6 which gave out on me after two solid years of consistently vacuuming both of my dogs fur. When deciding to replace it, I opted for this model and also purchased the warranty (just in case). For reference both of my dogs have short fur but shed on a daily basis. Overall this vacuum makes my life much easier. I use it almost on a daily basis and find that it is most definitely worth the money, especially with the product warranty.

Love the concept of a cordless vacuum. Lightweight and makes it easy to fly around the house and finish in no time. So much more convienent than replugging and dragging the cord around. All plastic construction and I hope it lasts for years, but we will see. Only complaint (like others have said) is the trigger guard which is uncomfortable and rubs against the back on my finger Would like better battery time and I tend to want to run this at the highest setting which drains the battery faster We'll see what happens

Pricey but so are all dyson's. Easy, powerful, and very mobile. Only downside is the 6 minute battery life on full power.

This is my second Dyson vacuum but the first cordless. I use it on max suction which reduces the battery life even further so it barely makes it through my entire one bedroom SMALL house before it dies. That being said, it's still a great product and easy to use. Came with quite a few attachments. Even though it's an "animal" I still have had to pull hair out of the roller, albeit mostly MY long, human hair ;)

This Dyson - V7 Animal Cord-Free Stick Vacuum was purchased for our home. We have found it to be very convenient and powerful. We have a corded Dyson Vacuum and have been very pleased with it as well so we decided to buy this for the wood floors as well and find it easy to use and powerful on the max power setting. Overall great purchase. Bought online and picked up at curbside.

Great vacuum, light easy to use. No cord, good for stairs

Exceeds my expectations for a battery operated vacuum. It's lightweight, incredible suction, and the functionality of the design is amazing. I was concerned about the need to hold down the on/off switch in order for the vacuum to operate but the switch has a very light pull and is not an issue at all. The high suction mode is a great innovation so that you have it if you need it but don't have to burn battery time if you don't. I haven't needed it yet. Great product!

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. I enjoy vacuum with it, thought I’d never say that! My only complaint is the battery and it’s 100% understandable but with as hard as this thing sucks it makes sense the battery drains quickly, by quickly I mean 20-30 minutes of vacuuming carpets with the power attachments. (I have 2 cats and 2 kids under 6 years old, we run it everyday) It works as good if not better than your traditional vacuum.

My wife and I were searching for a vacuum that would be great for every day messes. We have hardwood floors and 3 dogs, so there is always a dirt trail. After testing out several cordless vacs, we were down to the Dyson v7 and the new v10. The v7 was about $250 less and we couldn’t tell a difference between the two suction wise. We’ve used it several times now and couldn’t be happier. Quick and easy, no cords or lugging out the big vacuum!

A little disappointed. For the price, not impressed. The only thing nice about this is the other attachments. Makes cleaning stairs very easy. But that’s a lot of investment to clean your stairs. Hoover Linx is a fraction of the price and works better on floors.

Dyson continues to deliver. We have a large dog that sheds a lot and now a baby that crawls around on the floor. We have the full size Dyson that works great but it can be annoying to deal with the cord on a regular basis. This cordless works great for everyday use. I use it on hardwood and carpet. Run time is long enough for a quick daily clean.

Works great, suction is great. Only downside it lasts maybe 25 minutes.
