The suction isn't nearly as strong as I expected. I do like the car charger since I bought this to keep in my car. Also, several useful attachments were included.

This one became stuck in the open position after emptying the canister. Myself and the Best Buy rep could not properly shut it. This is more powerful than you think.

Light duty only

However the battery doesn't last very long and though you can charge it in the car you can't run it plugged in you have to wait for it to charge to finish the job. What a pain!

We're happy to hear that you've found your Dyson V7™ Car + Boat so useful for quick pick-ups and light duty jobs, and have been pleased with the variety of included attachments. All Dyson cord-free models feature a run-time enhancing trigger, which ensures that battery power is only used when the trigger is engaged - it's not wasted when moving from room to room or around obstacles. Your handheld will also feature two power modes; regular and MAX. Right out of the box, your machine will be set to MAX mode, which will provide up to 7 minutes of run time. MAX power is generally reserved for more stubborn messes or larger debris. When not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized tool.
