This vacuum is perfect for area rugs and hard wood floors . Easy to clean out and it charges while on storage unit . No cord makes everything fast and easy !

Very satisfied. Also own a V6. Best part of the V7 is the dust collector that remains closed while in use unlike the V6 that frequently opens during use. Quiet, powerful. Would strongly recommend.

Always handy when I need it. Picks up all the dog hair on most floor surfaces. Easy to charge and store. Use it in the car and all over the house. Only downside is wish it stays charged longer.

After researching this, the V7 seemed to be the best value. The v8 I’m sure is great but outrageous on the price. The difference in the 2 is minimal. It is kind of like comparing two TVs, if they are not right next to each other you’ll never know the difference and yours (the V7) will still be great.

We have always liked having a cordless stick-vac for quick cleanups. The problem was that they never quite did the whole job and required constant maintenance to keep them working properly. While looking for an upgrade, I read the Consumer Reports grades on them. The Dyson V6, 7 & 8 outperformed all of the corded stick-vacs they tested. We concur. It sucks up parakeet feathers and dog hair on hardwood floors rather than chasing them around the room. It can get under furniture like a canister vac's wand. We only pull out the corded, upright vacuum when cleaning our large carpeted family room. We got the V7 on a great sale from Best Buy and do not regret spending the extra money.

Dyson is a great product, combined with Black Friday pricing, I couldn't resist. Light, easy to empty out and cleaning under tables on tile or carpet, amazing.

The machine is really lightweight. Running it on normal is useless in my home. I have to run it on the Max setting every time. Battery does not last as long as I would like.

It's quick, easy, lightweight and convenient. Very easy to use. really does exactly what you want and need from it very well. Great design. Great purchase.

Worth the money, being able to vacuum without a cord is so much nicer and it’s so light weight and powerful. It works great on hard floors and thick shag carpets.

As long as you don't use the MAX mode the battery will last long enough to quickly clean the home. I was wondering whether this battery capacity was enough but it is. You just have to get used to the way of using it. While with a usual vacuum the machine is running even when you put something aside to clean there with the Dyson you just lift the finger from the switch and put it aside before you go on. This said the battery lasts long enough also because you'll vacuum more often for few minutes rather than the whole house once a week or so. In addition this vacuum is incredibly silent in operation. Almost no noise compared to a common vacuum. I love it.

Easy to use and store. Gets in all the places we need it to get. A little pricier than I would prefer but that's just me but it does a great job.

Works like a charm. I use it on my hardwood floors, carpet, and the attachments make it easy to clean my cars and trucks.

I like the dyson but I don’t like the fact that I have to charge it constantly. It’s light weight and that’s a plus. I’ve always owned a dyson I think they are reliable.

Battery life is only negative otherwise easily meets expectations

The vacuum works great, it is light and the accessories snap in/out quickly. Perfect for quick pick up jobs but can also vacuum an entire room.

Totally love my new Dyson Motörhead cord-free vacuum cleaner, the only downside is the battery life. Other then that, suction power is very good and it’s easy to clean.
