Dyson makes great products....this vacuum is no exception. Very light and easy to use....does a great job around my house. Recharging is relatively quick and easily lasts long enough to get my entire house vacuumed.

This is a great vacuum. It is light and has sufficient power for our purposes. I wish I had bought one sooner. We have hard wood floors - if you have lots of carpet you may have issues with the power and length of the battery charge. That said I would buy it again even if we had all carpets.

I would not recommend this vacuum for a large home. I have a one bedroom apartment and find that I do run out of battery before I am done so I know it would be a nightmare if I had a bigger space. It takes 3.5 hours to fully charge. However it does pick up almost everything from carpet and hardwood floors.

This works very good, especial with two young kids getting crumbs all over. Works great on tile and wood, haven’t tried on carpet since I have a full size vacuum. The not perfect rating is secondary to battery life. On high you can go for a solid 15-20 mins. I would really only take off a half star if I could. Attachments are a plus as well for getting in the cracks of a high chair.

Great suction and wonderful on pet hair. Easy to use. The battery life lasts the entire 2900 square feet of my home.

This is easily the best vacuum I have ever owned. Light, powerful and easy to use. Comes with 3 different heads which are easy to interchange. Battery powered and lasts for about 20 mins on the normal seeing. There is a high power setting that drains the battery in about 5 mins. Works great on hardwood floors.

I love this vacuum. So easy to maneuver around the house since there is no cord. Hate the battery life but it’s the same across the board on all vacuums

This isn't our first Dyson vacuum but it is our first portable. On low speed the battery last a decent amount of time however on high it doesn't last 25 minutes. Either way, low setting is good suction and the unit is very portable. We started using this as our primary vacuum. It's extremely light weight.

Light & easy instruction & operation. Versatile easy to use attachments. Cleans & remove deep ingrained dirth in carpets & rug. Easy smooth cleanup on wood floor . Quiet operation, space-saving storage. Really like this vac & impressed with built and overall performance. Would definitely recommend

Great Vacuum, so Easy to Use, To clean up, to put Away, to charge Up, Just Simple & Easy but Very Powerful

There are two settings, one is high power and the other is normal. Normal power runs for 30minutes and high power only runs for 6 minutes.

Impressed with the packaging and accessory connection design. Easy to use, easy to clean. Works well on wood floors, tile floors as well as rugs. Even useful for vacuuming car. Battery drains quickly (1/2 hr.) when using max vacuum. However, on normal vacuum picks up most everything.

I thought it would keep a charge longer. I have a cheaper model that stays charged longer, but. It doesn’t have the suction like this one

I've heard all the hype on Dyson and ignored it. Then, while looking for a new vacuum I had the luck to be in Best Buy the day that the Dyson rep was there and she did a demo for my wife and I. She convinced us. Yes, it cost more than the competition... but you get what you pay for. I am blown away by this vacuum... I use it daily in the house, I've used it in the garage, and even vacuum out my cars with it. Incredible product.

The suction is amazing. The weight of it is perfect to carry around the house. Cleans very well

This Dyson V7 for the price is a relatively effective and efficient vacuum that is very easy to handle, and has minimal complication in how to use it. On average, on a full charge, on the max suction setting this vacuum lasts about 5-6 minutes, and on the normal suction setting it lasts about 25 minutes. Also, there isn’t actually an ON switch to vacuum, instead there is a button which is on the handle grip that you press down on to turn the vacuum ON. The suction on the vacuum for something as lightweight as this is really good, regardless if you use this vacuum in max suction or regular. Also it’s nice that it came with so many accessories and tools which easily attach to the Dyson unit. Overall, ideally this vacuum is for someone how doesn’t need anything too heavy duty, and is more for a minimalistic setup for something like an apartment or a home on the smaller side.
