Really... it sucks all the dirt out of my car!... battery life is about 20-30 min fully charged, & I just wished there was an On/Off switch to keep the vacuum on, instead of having to kee holding the trigger. Hand can get pretty tired.

The price was high for a Shanghai manufactured product, but if it lasts longer than the previous vac that I paid about 1/4 the price, then I will be satisfied.

When i vacuum my car, i can only use it 8-10 minutes before it dies. Then i have to recharge it and use it another 8-10 minutes and thats really annoying and its pointless to have an expensive vacuum like this. I wish it had at least 30 minutes of battery life, i like to vacuum my car really good and make sure i capture every little piece of trash or dirt.

The suction on max is not great but it picks up dog hair and light debris in my car, which is the intended use. Certainly much better than the old portable Dustbusters. It's pricey, but it's Dyson. Wait for a sale.

Its spec say 30’ working but normally it can work for only 20’-22’ from the beginning when I purchased it!

The V7 is designed to get 30 minutes of run time in standard mode with no motorized tool attached, 20 minutes with the motorized head in standard mode and 6 minutes in MAX mode as advertised.

It does take a long time to charge from fully dead. But it holds the charge well. I use it several times a week.

Posted .Hello Chuck, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry you haven't had a better experience with your V7 Trigger handheld vacuum. Dyson Trigger features two suction modes, MAX and regular power. While regular power is suitable for most household messes, you may find that some debris is more stubborn to pick up and does require MAX power mode. While in MAX power, your unit will receive a boost of power, making suction more powerful. When fully charged, you can expect run time from 7-30 minutes, depending on which suction mode and tools you are using.
The Dyson V7 Trigger also features our latest hygienic dirt ejector, designed to drive out trapped dust and debris in one action - so you never need to touch it.
