My hand vacuum died but all the other parts are fine. I got the original from Costco so don't which version it is; and I have many accessories, but they cannot connect. They are just a bit small. Not your problem. The gal at your store was great and ordered it for me. It arrived when it should.

Posted .Hello Orlando, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Trigger features two suction modes, MAX and regular power. While regular power is suitable for most household messes, you may find that some debris is more stubborn to pick up and does require MAX power mode. While in MAX power, your unit will receive a boost of power, making suction more powerful. When fully charged, you can expect run time from 7-30 minutes, depending on which suction mode and tools you are using. The vacuum has ample suction, as is the case with most Dyson vacs, but it comes at a cost. The battery did not last very long before it required recharging, as others have reported. The bottom line is that Dyson has a long way to go in terms of battery technology. I've had this vacuum for a little more than a year (rarely used it), and the battery has already failed. The red light is blinking when you try to use the vacuum or try to charge it, indicating a battery fault. This is simply unacceptable given the how often the unit was actually used. And Dyson wants more than half the cost of the entire unit for a replacement battery. No thanks. Fool me once...

Posted .Hi Bradley, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear that thus far in your use, you found the suction on the Dyson V7 Trigger to be sufficient. This model features two suction modes, MAX and regular. While regular power is suitable for everyday vacuuming, you may find that more stubborn messes or larger debris do require the use of MAX power. While we can't guarantee a lifespan for the battery due to varying factors, I can confirm that we would generally expect the battery to outlast the free 2-year guarantee provided with all new machines purchased from an authorized retailer. While we don't expect problems to occur, the guarantee is in place to help protect against any problems that may ever arise or come up with a new purchase. I'm also happy to share that we do also have many happy cordless Dyson owners who are still enjoying some of our earlier models today.
