Holy cow, guys. My mom was NOT lying when she said the Dyson changed her life. It definitely hurt my wallet but it was so worth it. When I used it the first time to vacuum the living room in my apartment (which gets vacuumed at least twice a week) it picked up TONS of hair and literal drywall dust that my Bissel didn't even show signs of. At first I was grossed out by just how much junk was hidden in my carpet, but then I was relieved that I now have the cleanest carpet in my building B^). If you can afford a Dyson, GET A DYSON!

Love this vacuum is so easy to use and cordless. Also the extra different extensions make it convenient to use. Wether is vacuuming the sofas, corners or even furniture the gadgets work great.

Before reading any further, as I have posted on a different review, this review is fairly bias: if you can afford a Dyson as a vacuum cleaner, this is excellent and does a tremendously good job especially for being a cord free vacuum. However, we only use this upstairs and I am not sure it would be a good whole house vacuum. It is great for spot cleaning though it is ridiculously expensive for same. However, my wife will except nothing less then Dyson quality which means that either I by this or I suffer and eventually she will just buy it anyway adding to the family household expenditure. Either way, I lose, so better to be happy than right.

Love this Dyson vacuum stick. Had an earlier version of this and this new one seems to have better suction and is way quieter than the earlier model. My only reservations from giving it a 5 star was the price is pretty steep.

This is exactly what I wanted and needed. Easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. This made cleaning 100x easier and my back is much happier.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it - she said it's the best gift she's gotten!

Great vacuum for the price will not go back to a corded vacuum. Only 4 stars because battery life is limited but overall great purchase.

This is a light-weight but powerful sweeper, though not to be mistaken for a more powerful, conventional vacuum cleaner. I would not consider it a one-to-one replacement in a home with wall-to-wall carpeting. That said, the ubiquitous smooth floors of this century are easily managed with this device. The battery life is sufficent to sweep our 1200 sqft upstairs and tackle upholstery in the living area which is dominated by our five cats and one dog.

Ok, so buying a vacuum is not something fun or sexy. But I have to say I love this vacuum! I hate cleaning, but this is so easy to pull out and use! With four cats and a husband who doesn't like to take his shoes off in the house ('cause its SOOOOO HARRDDD to put them back on and tie them if he needs too go back outside, ugh) the main areas need vacuuming every day. The suction is amazing. I can do the entire first level of my home on 1 charge (1200 sq. ft). I have laminate flooring with area rugs and it's so easy to switch between them. I liked it so much I bought another for upstairs! It may seem like a lot of money, but it will replace a plug-in vacuum easily, and you will use it multiple times a week.

Love this product. I resisted getting another brand because I have had Kirbys all my life. But the Kirby just couldn't get the pet hair off the rugs. My daughter bought this and it was so amazing that I bought it also. Gets up ALL the dog hair. It's easier to use because it is cordless, narrower and more flexible than the standard vacuum. I ended up buying it for my other daughter for Christmas and just ordered another one for another family member.

I purchased this to replace a new Hoover that kept slipping the belt. I was a little insecure about buying a portable but am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The first time using my new Dyson it was picking up dirt my upright vacuum had left behind. I have a cat that can track litter around and it's so convenient to just grab it (the vacuum) and clean up instantly.

My wife uses it all the time. It's quick to charge, sucks up what it needs to suck up, and we have a small 20lbs dog that doesn't shed too much and it works.

Works so good! The buying process and fast delivery from best buy was phenomenal!

I got this for my mother and she calls me constantly to tell me how great it is and remind me that I need one. I get almost daily updates about the happenings with her Dyson. "Did you know I can get under the bed with it" "Did you know I can cover the whole house on one charge" "Did you know this has the greatest suction power". I don't vacuum my hardwoods but she is making me want to buy a Dyson with how whole heartedly she loves it.

It's OK, doesn't suck up dog kibble very well even on full blast. Doesn't work on thin washable throw rugs and it also doesn't stand up on it's own like other brands do. For the high cost, I expected this to perform better.

Very easy to move about and does a exceptional job on floors for complete cleaning. Easy to empty.

Vacuum works great! I had this model before and it broke so purchased a new one.

Love the cordless! Light weights, thin enough to store in closet. As far as suction, I have all tile and one area rug an it has made life so much easier for me and all!!! Love it!
