Great little vaccuum

I didnt belive it would be any better than a regiular $60 one. Boy was i wrong. This little thing on max setting is a beast. Picks up little crumbs and dust. Wont pick up larger crumbs. Work great on wood flooring (hasnt scratched it up lol) and even better on rug (the apartment kind, havent tried it on a heavy rug). All in all im satisfied and have purchased some extra attachments sich as the adapter to vacuum inder beds and couches

The plastic feels cheap and flimsy. It works fine. Not having to mess with a cord is great. There technically isn't anything wrong with it except for the cost. It doesn't work or feel like a $400 vacuum should. The battery life is decent but when it dies it just dies. There is no warning or decrease in power, it's just done! Suction is average. Max power is good, but drains the battery faster.

Great Vacuum...Too Much $$

After trying a friend's V6 Motörhead I decided to wait bc I didn't like the run time, the noise or the fact that trash got stuck in the bin. The Animal fixed all those problems. The 40-minute run time is great. Long enough to take care of my cleaning needs, plus some (and I'm borderline OCD). The suction is great on normal speed so I only used the max speed once. It's very quiet so you don't realize how much it's picking up until you look in the bin. Very impressive. I would have liked to pay a little less for it, $300 maybe, but I paid $500 only bc I hadn't seen the price decrease in the months I had been researching, so I looked at it as an investment. For that reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

It’s the least expensive Dyson you can get, but it is still a Dyson. You do have to hold the power trigger down manually, but that’s not a big deal. If you use it on “Max” power then the battery doesn’t last as long. Even with these two minor inconveniences, it’s a great vacuum. My rugs are cleaner than they have been in years.

Vacuumed with our old vacuum first. Then popped this out of the box and after charging it put our Shark to SHAME. The amount of cat hair alone was shocking. I'll never go back. Loyal customer for life
