I really love this little vacuum. It’s powerful and picks up everything. It’s lightweight and great for the stairs. Works well on carpet as well as tile. It picks up large and small debris. I don’t even need my broom anymore. The only slight downfall is that it has to be emptied fairly often, but it is easy to empty.

Great vacuum. Gets up all the pet hair from our two dogs and cat.

Very happy! This is our second Dyson cordless vac. First one lasted for years, did have to buy a battery replacement before it finally died. The new model has a better feel, very easy to maneuver around and under things, seems quieter, easier and more efficient to dump the trash out. Quick, convenient and easy to use for many jobs.

So, I snagged the Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum, it's a game-changer. Sucks up pet hair like a champ, and going cordless is a total win. Battery's not too shabby but seriously I would expect longer battery life on max suction. Yeah, it's a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it for a spotless pad. 4 stars, no doubt!

“A game changer” said my son and his wife! My grandson immediately vacuumed his own room! Two kids and a cat are no fool for this cool tool!

I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Although I have not tried all of the attachments, the ones I have used are great! I also ordered the other head thru Dyson (per recommendation of the sales clerk)

I never knew how freeing it was to be cord-free. I am hooked on that feature alone. I use the vac on maximum and am able to clean one room at a time thoroughly before charging it up. I have tried it on lower suction a couple of times also and it is amazing how much dog and cat hair it picks up. It ALSO picks up my TidyCat litter!! Kudos!

I've owned this vacuum for over a year and half. Wife and I bought it for our home because we mostly have wood flooring and it doesn't take much to "sweep" the dirt and debris off the wood floor. Pros: - 2 power modes - Great attachments; those included fulfill nearly every need in our home with pets - Easy to empty bin - Wall Mount is creative and very useful - Rarely clogs and when it does, very easy to clear out - The low power mode does more than you think! Cons: - High Power mode consumes entire battery in under 10 minutes - Canister can fill up quickly with pets and carpet - Loud - Very slow charge time; I assume they do this to prevent dendrites from forming in Lithium Battery - Attachment points wear and loosen over time - Power Adapter for charging is large and horizontal; great on single outlets, but bad for larger outlet faces (4 or more plugs) Overall, we've been rather pleased with this cordless vacuum. There are obvious downsides, the biggest being the battery life on the higher setting. I would not recommend this vacuum if you have a majority carpet in your home. For our wood floor home (90% is wood) it has performed very well and kept up with nearly daily use! Worth the money if you can get over some of the clunky and time consuming details of using it.

I love the versatility and ease of use. The two suction settings are great when vacuuming rugs. Dyson will be my choice in the future. I do wish that I didn't have to hold the power switch to keep it working.

The on/off trigger has to be held continuously while using the the vacuum. I realized this while taking the vacuum out of the box. I had to return the vacuum since holding the trigger continuously would have aggravated a hand condition I have. I cannot rate the actual performance of the vacuum since I did not use it, but I'm giving a 3-star rating for the strange design of the power mechanism.

This vacuum could not be more convenient. It is truly lightweight, and the convenience of no cord is incredible. The suction is excellent for our needs. I haven't needed to use the accessory pieces yet but am already very pleased. I highly recommend.

Good vacuum. BUT emptying the dust bin and then closing it is complicated. Open by pulling up on the red handle. The entire motor comes up and then the bottom of the bin opens. You MUST push the moror down THEN close the door to the dust bin. Do it any other way and everything is stuck. Of course I received zero directions about this with the package.

Our old vacuum finally stopped working and I pulled the trigger on this one! My sister in law has one and I would always help vacuum her house when I was over because I couldn't get over how lightweight it was! You also don't have to drag feet of cord around with you and move from plug to plug throughout the house. Perfect for small spaces too. I highly recommend.

I love this because it is very easy to use and the suction is very powerful. The only problem is the battery.

Honestly probably one of the best vacuums I’ve purchased in a long time. I have a golden and the hair is crazy but this Dyson handles it with no problem. And I also love the lines it makes on the carpet. Absolutely love my Dyson. Only down side is the battery life I wish it would live a little longer than it does.

Dyson is a reputed brand when it comes to vacuum cleaners and it sticks true with this one as well. I had to return an LG one that broke within 6 months so I had to finally upgrade to the Dyson. It has fantastic suction power and charges well, however that kind of restricts the amount of cleaning you can do before it needs to be charged back up.

Honesty dysons are the best and after buying this product I have been so happy. This is so easy to use and so lightweight. I put this in the corner of my room and bring it out to quickly vaccume any part of my room that just needs a quick clean up. I love dyson and their products they are the best in the game. No way you will be disappointed with this purchase

Works great, gets up close to baseboards and does carpet good. Battery life is good, I can vaccum our 1400 square foot home in a single charge. Bonus points for the extra attachments and wall mount was very easy to install. The build quality is good i would definitely recommend.
