This vacuum is terrific in so many ways. It is light enough for easy handling. Great suction for picking up fine cat hair from hardwood floors and rugs. Easy to empty dust container after every cleaning. I also like how accessible it is from the wall hanger. I have not tried the attachments yet but I'm sure they are equally as efficient.

Odd thing about this vacuum...it actually makes me enjoy vacuuming. It's just so satisfying see all that dirt and hair and junk in the little waste trap. Is it expensive? yes. Does it look like a 90's genesis video game cover? yes. Is it powerful? definitely yes. Can it go anywhere? Mostly. I think the only cons for me are the charging thing. Who wants to hang a vacuum up on the wall like it's some piece of art. The cord needs to be longer so you can hang it in a closet and keep it plugged in. Besides that, this device is great. Would I buy this again? 100%.

I could not give the Dyson V8 a better review. I have own/owned so many Dyson products (including several vacuums) over the last 15 - 20 or so years, and this is one of the best. The snag proof rolling head is one of their best improvements. I know they are pricey; but with superior cleaning and the unconditional warranty, it’s money well spent.

Lots of power and works even better than our last one. Especially the powered beater attachment. Our old one kept stopping the beater attachment as it wasn't powered like this one is. This one is also easier to empty. Our old one would get animal hair wrapped around and not want to come out of the bottom without digging it out. They made a great product even better with this one!

Best investment ever, at first I was looking for a regular vacuum. Heard about some review on the dyson. So i decided to purchase one. MAN first thing i notice when i vacuum, was all the dirt it collected from my carpet. Must buy.

We’ve always had two dogs that shed a ton and also bring in outside dirt and debris. Thought our normal vacuum was good, but tried a Dyson and our world changed. Never knew how much the old vacuum was leaving behind. Add to that the ease and convenience of a cordless lightwieght vacuum, and we are Dyson customers for life.

I have never in my life enjoyed vacuuming until I bought this vacuum. I am having the best time of my whole life. I think everyone in the whole world should buy this vacuum. Honestly 10 out of 10 would recommend again.

We have a five-level place and were in need of a moderate cordless vacuum and have been happy with this and recommend it for those with similar needs. We have used Dyson before and while please with their machines, they are pricy. That said, if you need a moderately powerful cordless vacuum, definitely consider this.

Very pleased with the new Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum. (Gift to my sister) .The old Dyson had served very well for 15 years, worn out 2 nd battery. It was time that she have a shiny new one just because she is so good to me always.

Lasts a bit longer than they say it does, even on high, with the Motorhead attached. Super strong suction. The amount of dust it picks up is amazing.

I use this as a in between vacuum cleaner for thoses spot messes the kids make works great wish the powerful mode lasted longer is my only complaint

This vacuum picks up pet hair from the carpet like a tornado! I got this one to replace one of the same. The Only negative is i know that within 6 mos. It wont hold the charge over 5 minutes. Good thing i got it on a fantastic sale!

Best vacuum I've owned except you do have to press down when vacuuming so not recommending it to anyone I know with arthritis etc. it's detachable as well which I love! pretty powerful! just make sure it's really charged before you start your cleaning it does take time to charge.

Great vacuum. Battery life could be a little better

Got this for Christmas, and love it so far! These Dyson vacs are a bit pricey but totally worth it for the convenience and ease of use. The battery lasts long enough to do most of our 2000 square foot home, as long as you don’t have it on max power. Very light and compact which makes getting in tight spots a breeze. So easy to do the stairs now, too!

This was an item that I really wanted, truth is, it’s not what I thought it was. The suction is weak on the low level. I have a cat and there is hair for days! The high level does a pretty good job with sucking up the cat hair, but the battery time is short when it’s on high. I really can only get my bedroom and the upstairs hall done before the battery dies when it’s on high. Unfortunately, it doesn’t glide smoothly on the carpet. It will get the job done, but so will my shark and for a fraction of cost.

I love my Dyson V8. It is the best one out there.

I love how light it is. Great for quick cleanups or even doing about half the house. Trade off for its weight is the battery which doesnt last as long and one would like. Carpet can be a challenge but still kinda works.
