We have 6 of these in the family now - my husband & I at our house we use it for smaller jobs, the stairs and car, my 5 children each at their apartments and it will do the whole apartment. We just love them and each has one.

I can not say enough about Dyson! I’ve tried other vacuums but truly non compare!

Makes vacuuming fun and easy being cordless when cleaning

I got the Dyson to help me vaccum my stairs easier since I already have the Roomba. The Dyson is good BUTTTTT not great. The battery does not last long and the vaccum stops running when the airflow is completely blocked. I tried to vaccum my Escalade floors with it and it died after about 30 minutes. Also I was using it to vaccum the car seats and the leather seats preventing the airflow, turning off the vaccum which is extremely aggravating. There isn't an on/off switch, making the user having to hold the trigger button the whole time (not fun). All in all the vaccum is good but not great because of the reasons I listed above.

Insanely useful, probably the best vacuum I have ever owned. Cordless is so convenien and the fact that you can switch it with the shorter things makes it nice

Bought it for quick clean ups. Does that very well. Easy to empty. The charge last a good long time, however charging to full charge, takes 4 hours (a bit longer than expected). Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Nice and light, I find this unit very convenient for vacuuming small areas and doing touch ups. For these jobs I can use the high speed suction setting. Like the charging cradle as well. Recharging turns off when complete.

For the longest time I refused to buy a Dyson stick vacuum because I felt the price was not worth it. After trying a couple non dyson brand vacs, I gave in a bought the V8 and I'm glad I did. The charger stand is easy to use and makes it convenient to do a quick vacuum, meaning the house stays cleaner. I specifically like the upholstery tool, one of the main reasons I was looking. For a stick vac (to keep up with my 2 dogs). If I were to do it again I'd buy a larger version for extended run time and larger dust bin, but I love this one for it's lightness and compact size!

I bought this from Best Buy website and return it as soon as I open it because it came used, Best Buy put a brown tape on the top of it and repackage it, including that someone’s house’s dirt inside. so I take it back to Best Buy. Return it get my money back.

Great product the wife loves it for hardwood and carpet and for steps. Plenty of power and the best part is it works for quick kitchen cleanup but also then as the main house workhorse.

One of my great allies in cleaning my home. Lift what I never imagine my pets left on the floor during the day.

Truly the best purchase. Super light weight. Easy to grab and cleanup after my toddler. Easy to empty and store. I highly recommend.

I am disabled and haven't been able to sweep or vacuum for years. But this Dyson is so light weight and has such a strong suction that I can vacuum again. It takes half the time of any other vacuum I've ever had and does it better.
