Love this vacuum - use it daily! We have a shedding dog and it keeps our carpet and stairs free from hair and dust

I just moved to Minnesota and have carpet in my bedroom in this new rental. Usually a swifter guy, but needed a vacuum to satisfy both hardwood floors in living area and bedroom. Actually went to BestBuy looking for a router/modem combo and decided to walk over to Dyson section to "browse". The Dyson lady, Magdelena came over, showed me how thoughtfully constructed this vaccum was and I was sold. She also told me that it lasts for many years so decided to make an investment. Very happy with it so far. I initially got the V7, but the power wasn't to my satisfaction. Saw V8 selling in Costco for $299 (cost of V7) at the time so came back to store, asked for pricematch for V8 and they did. So happy with it. No regrets.

Does a great job will not go back to a corded vacuum.

We love how lightweight and easy to maneuver. It charges fast and lasts a long time on a single charge.

vaccum has good suction but ONLY on highpower mode and that doesn’t even last past 10 min TOPS. so mad i missed the return policy and they wouldn’t price match it for me either after this crap dropped in price significantly smh.

It's so lightweight that you can use it anywhere. It's worth the money for sure. Be forewarned that the battery only lasts for about 15 minutes (on the high setting) but it's worth the ease of use.

This vac is so great because it sucks everything up and wasn't hard to setup and get sucking.

This is our second Dyson vac and this one is better than the V7! Much stronger and the battery seems to last a bit longer. Worth the money as usual!

Love the new V8 Dyson very powerful and quiet. I had the V6 before. I tied all the other handheld vacuums and although they are cheaper we’re awful to use and very very heavy and noisy. This one is really the best good quality

Great cordless vacuum, the max suction option consumes a lot of battery but you can go away with the other option.

I’m writing this after a year and a half the low setting to save battery is not worth it bearly gets anything up. The max take all the battery in 7 minutes you have to rush it and then it takes hours to charge. Now we do have two dogs, two cats, a baby, and us. So a lot of mess to clean up. It did not hold up too well max power will work for a second turn of in a loop. Over all if you have small messes it’s good but for a big family I’d go for something else

Four stars because it’s pricy. Had to buy flexible hose to be able vacuum my car. Also will have to buy power head attachment for wooden floors which will make this vacuum cleaner even more pricy. Otherwise it’s great and easy to use, durability, only time will tell.

Love this vacuum - only thing I would ask for is more time before having to charge again but for the most part, it's sufficient time. It's just such an easy vacuum to use!

This is a great vacuum. Very powerful and effective on my hardwood floors and rugs The only drawback is that you have to hold the on trigger while you vacuum.
