FIFA on the go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving the game, not much of an online or career player, mostly play seasons, and the game looks great at home or on the go, plays very well.

Very Good Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After not having FIFA on a portable system in years, finally we have it back (thanks a lot Sony for just quitting on the PS Vita). Got it on black Friday sale (which always helps). Looks and plays well in docked and portable mode. Yes it's not the resolution of the Xbox one x or PS4 Pro, but you can't play those on the train. Hopefully EA will keep making games for the Switch.

Perfect, No, But the Portability...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much was made of the missing modes in FIFA 18 on the Nintendo Switch. The lack of The Journey: Hunter Returns was pointed out in every preview of the title in the months leading up to release. I don't miss it. Studies showed that it was the least-played mode in FIFA 17 across other platforms, so I doubt it's the reason someone would avoid FIFA 18 on Switch. The only real impediments would be lack of a player base for Ultimate Team and any complications surrounding the new engine. As for the former, time will tell. As for the engine — I can report no problems with gameplay, I did notice they don't zoom in very close for celebrations or replays, but you quickly forget this. What is incredible is the portability of an actual, beautiful, well-playing, full version of FIFA. It's an absolute joy to be able to pick up my Arsenal career wherever I'd like. I never knew how much I'd appreciate making a goal-line clearance whilst sitting on the toilet, but it's glorious. If you're a football fan, and you own a Switch, do not hesitate. Buy this game.

Good game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really love this game. The graphics and gameplay is really good for Nintendo Switch especially now I can play FIFA on the go. I do own multiple gaming systems and bought all my past FIFA games for my PS4 but this time round I went for the Switch version because of the portability gameplay. Don't understand why people compare FIFA 18 for Nintendo Switch against PS4 or the XBOX One. Common man, there is no way to compare as everyone knows that PS4 and Xbox One system power are more powerful than Nintendo Switch. I love my Switch as I travel often. EA has done it right this time and hope EA will bring more sports game to Nintendo Switch. You have to buy this game on Switch if you want a good soccer game on the go.

Great for basic modes, not so much for others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've played FIFA for past decade but I've only been playing regular "kick off" mode and "online seasons" modes. I'm not a fan of all the other modes where you manage teams/players as it requires too much time. I love playing local multiplayer with friends and this game provides a proper FIFA experience on a Nintendo console in a long time! Online is decent too with not much lag but matchmaking sucks because not many people play online. I love the tabletop mode that the Switch provides. I've popped it out and played with friends who never heard of the Switch and we were all playing like we would on PS4/XB1. The screen is a little small on the Switch so 2 players works fine but 4 players requires squeezing together. One glaring omission you've probably already heard is you can't play with friends online because EA didn't include an option for that so make sure to note that before picking up this game. I got it on release day but with GCU and pre-order bonus, it came out to about $40. It's already cheaper than that now due to BF sales and would pick it up at this price if you want to play regular FIFA with friends and don't have any other console. I'm giving it 4 stars because that's exactly what I wanted but I would give it 2-3 stars if I cared for the other modes.

Delivers great football on the go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is FIFA, the definitive football game in my opinion. On the Switch you get to take this on the go, which is the main reason I bought it. If you have played FIFA before, it isn't much different. The major negative this game has isn't necessarily EA's fault, but Nintendo's, is the fact that you can't play against friends online. Since there is no invites or anything. I don't play online, but I know that's a major issue for a lot of people.

Great FIFA game for the switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The last time I played FIFA was back on the PS2 and that was forever ago. Since then I have been a big PC gamer and have since gotten which is my first console in nearly a decade. I can say that I mainly picked this up for nostalgia but I do not regret the game at all. As some reviews online say that it is missing some features I'm not too concerned about it as I am able to do a quick game or focus on a career for a made character and I can say this is pretty much all i did on my last FIFA game. I do wish that there was a way to challenge people on your friends list that also have the game but it's that big of a deal for me as I am the only one of my friends to get the game. Controls feel good and fluid. Aiming shots and passes can be a pain but once you get in the groove it isnt that hard. Difficulty though is a big thing after playing awhile I got better at controls and game play making the current difficulty too easy as every team I would play would consistently score 5 or more goals which hardly every happens in real life. All in all fund soccer game that brings back many memories.

FIFA on the go is great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a hardcore FIFA player so this version is great for me and the kids. Some features are missing but overall it's a great version that can be played at home or on the go. Good to see 3rd party developers making an honest effort with the Switch

Graphics are nice, but glitchy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I score a goal and the players celebrate nicely. I like that the graphics on handheld mode look better than the psvita version. The gameplay is very glitchy, however. Sometimes I would pass the ball to my goalkeeper and he’d score an own goal. If I restart the game and my wifi loses connection, an error would occur and I have to go back to the nintendo switch home screen or restart the device. I don’t know about other people, but when I play Real Madrid on career mode, for some reason on the 2017/2018 season, Real Madrid vs. Deportivo Alaves would not play and an error would occur. If I sim it, it would advance the date, but then if I played another game, another error would occur. This nintendo switch version has no Journey, so be prepared for that. I ordered Fifa 18 for my PS4 too so I could play the Journey.

Great game to have on the go.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played FIFA for years, but not in this way. The game is not up to par with the XBOX One and PS4 versions as far as features, but this game has excellent graphics and it plays smoothly on the Switch. It is a good game to have on the go. It takes some time to get used to, and if you have a chance to play with a pro controller, I would recommend that.

FIFA on Switch is excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphically, it may be slightly behind Xbox and PS, but gameplay is excellent. Controls are comfortable. Online servers are good, but I wish there was an option to play with friends online. But the biggest perk of all is the portability. I can play on my commute. Not lame, wimpy smartphone FIFA, but full-fledged FIFA. It's fantastic.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fifa on the Nintendo Switch is not in the same league as the more robust PS4 and Xbox versions, but it is not supposed to be. This is exactly what us Switch players want - a portable version of an excellent game. Fifa is perfect for quick games on the bus, and the Switch handles the amazing graphics perfectly.

Great experience on the go!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch is my leading vote for the system of 2017! Other than the special mini-systems nintendo released (NES and SNES classics) the Switch has been the best system to own. Portability and game play cannot be beat on the switch. FIFA is great on the go with the switch. Great for any football fan.

Best portable FIFA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game looks good, not 4k good, but more than good enough for a soccer game because this isn't the type of game that needs to look next gen. The gameplay is simply fantastic, I personally found the announcers lines to be rather repetitive, but that is a minor detail. I am not a huge FIFA player, (I have only really spent time playing 2 of the previous games) but eagerly picked this up for my Switch, and play it almost every day. My favorite thing about is probably the fact that I don't need to spend an hour playing it, I can do it in easy 30 minute chunks, and I have brought it to class with me and then played it just hanging out with my friends plenty of times. The controls are pretty good, the only complaint being how hard it is to sprint when using one joy con with the incredibly small SR button.

Good version of the game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can overlook the features that are missing in this version of the game then it’s actually pretty good. The game is essentially the standard FIFA game from the last couple of years. Looks nice in handheld and the portability is great.

A great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it on the switch because I can take it on the go. I love how it has the diffrent leagues and that it is like the Xbox version. It doesn't have the story mode which is fine. It is a great soccer game to play on the go.
