Pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impressed, yeah it doesn’t run in 60fps but it’s still pretty good for what it is, it’s extremly enjoyable and honestly I now prefer the switch version of sports games because I enjoy playing games on the go.

A literal hybrid of last-gen and current-gen FIFA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FIFA 18 for the Switch hits this strange middle ground between last-gen and current-gen with somewhat frustrating results. With the exception of the Journey mode, which isn't included, what's here is nearly 1:1 to what other consoles and PC includes. However, on the pitch is another matter entirely. The graphics are somewhere in between last and current gen. What many reviews fail to mention is the amazing real-time presentation we've had since FIFA 14 has been replaced with a bare bones package that features largely choppy cutscenes. The positive to this is that this game runs at 60 frames per second during actual gameplay and is very similar, if not preferable, to current-gen FIFA in that regard. Every league, team and player from the other ports are included, as is the addictive Manager Career mode. However, this mode is identical to years past and does not include the interactive Frostbite-powered negotiation cutscenes the other versions include. Overall, this is a good game. It isn't anywhere close to being the same experience as you'll find on other consoles or PC, but it's a respectable effort for the Switch, a literal hybrid of last-gen and current-gen. Here's hoping EA continues to build on this foundation instead of releasing a glorified roster update every year like on the Vita and Wii U.

Full FIFA on the Go!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont know anything about soccer, so paying full price for this seemed out of the question. So when BB had this on sale for Black Friday, i gave it a shot. I only play my switch in portable mode, so that the fact that it looks that great on a portable device is amazing to me. Game mechanics seem to work just fine. The one complaint i here from people is the download size even when you buy the physical disc. To be honest, i'm not concerned, i forsore huge file sizes when i heard some of the games coming out like doom, nba 2k18, la noire, etc and bought a 200gb micro sd card. Again i'm not the biggest soccer fan, but this game is entertaining for some quick FIFA action. Any true soccer fan i feel would absolutely love this game.

Great fifa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the Nintendo switch version of fifa 18. This game is everything you can expect in a fifa game. The teams are all there and the playing is exactly the same. All the buttons and all the controls are comparable to the the other versions available . the best part of this version is the portability aspect. The game plays anywhere you want it to. The screen is excellent and you really do get the feeling that you are playing any other fifa. The only real criticism of this f Game is that the graphics are outdone by the stronger conaloes. But that doesnt mean the switch version is inferior. All in all a great game that is still fifa in every form and can be taken anywhere.

This is the video game you must have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so fun. I can’t stop playing it since I bought it from Best Buy. However it took me some time to learn how to control the motion and movement.

Not the same as Big Consoles but still great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hadn't had a new FIFA for a few years mainly waiting to get a certain player on a certain team. And when it was announced that this would be on Switch and I could play it on the road was SOLD! Have been playing it with my son every day since launch day and we love it. I understand the HW is not the same but it still bugs me a little that the game is not the exact same content/quality as PS4/XBox, but in the end it IS worth it just for the portability. Ultimately I will always show my support for EA so they continue to bring their titles to Switch.

Great soccer on the go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game plays extremely well and feels good, but the lack of features in comparison to the other current gen consoles is of course disappointing

For a third party title on a portable console...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a third party title on a portable console... this game exceeds standard. I do believe it deserves 5 stars for what you get on the switch. It gives you the two most popular game modes of FIFA, FUT and career mode. The only thing missing is the story mode, but EA doesn't do a very good job with their story modes in all honesty, so not much of a loss. Online works great, graphics are better than expected, game play mechanics could use work but overall a switch version of FIFA, this exceeds standard.

Fifa running on Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fifa '18 on Switch may not be the full robust version of the game that you will get on XBOX or PS4, but it has something the other versions don't have, portability. EA managed to get the core Fifa experience running on the Switch and manged to get the full game minus a few modes on a single Switch cart. The portable nature allows for you to hop into a quick game of Fifa. Hopefully the next iteration of Fifa will be able to improve upon the foundation they have set up with their customized engine running the Switch version.

Great Game in a fantastic platform
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing almost every Fifa since 97. In this time, I haven't really liked all the other game modes and such that Fifa came to offer, so I don't feel like I miss anything in this game. As it is, feels complete and less complex to have a great afternoon playing with friends. If you're a pro, I'd recommend getting the xbox, pc or ps version of the game. If you only want to have fun, this is the correct game in the correct platform. There's nothing like laying in bed playing Fifa.

Great for mobile; weak compared to other consoles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch has shown that it can be a great medium for mobile gameplay, even when running games originally designed for the PS4 and XB1. Gameplay is smooth, albeit the graphics are greatly dumbed down to run using weaker hardware. Several major gameplay modes are non-existent in the Switch version, so please do research if you're buying FIFA for specific content. However, if you just want to play quick matches or season mode, this will be more than enough and you'll be able to enjoy more FIFA wherever you go.

Not has great as other consoles but fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad to see FIFA on a Nintendo console! The game is fun to play and it plays very well on the Switch in TV or portable mode. The only drawback is that it is not the same version that the other consoles have - the graphics engine is different and the special mode with Alex Hunter does not exist. Oh also, if you play online, you have to play random opponents (no friends). I'm giving EA some slack here - it's a good first effort on this console. I hope they up their game next year though!

Fun game overall, missing some features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited until this game went on sale because in my opinion it’s not worth $60 with the features they left out of this version. But when I saw it would be $30 on Black Friday, I thought that was fair. It’s a good game, the gameplay is easy to pick up and they have so many teams and leagues to choose from. I just don’t understand how they could not add in multiplayer online with friends. Hopefully Nintendo fixes this when they launch their online, that’s my only big complaint so far.
