Whatever you do, don't get this card sent to you - pick it up in the store instead where they will properly activate it. I made the mistake of having it sent to my address and like another reviewer, received a card that had not been activated and showed ZERO balance. Took over 30 minutes on the phone with customer service trying to get it activated - finally they gave up and offered me choice of refund or picking up another card at a local store. I chose the latter and finally received a card that had a balance.

The card best buy mailed was 5 years old and shows zero balance. It has been 2 weeks, best buy told me I had to call ebay to figure out. Ebay said the card is too old and is trying to fix it. Either way its been 2 weeks, and my niece has a useless Bday gift that Best buy will not refund

I have bought these a few times and unfortunately it is always a hassle. None of the ebay gift cards came activated. I was unable to verify the balance or use the cards until contacting best buy customer service and putting a help ticket in. After contacting customer service it took about 48 hours before I was able to use the card.

Easy to use for any occasion. Great gift for anyone since ebay has many official brand stores.

I have bought several in the past and will continue to buy more in the future

If you're going to get an eBay gift card from Best Buy, buy it in person at a store! Another reviewer said that they ordered one online and the card they received wasn't activated, and the same happened to me. Paid $50 and received a card with a balance of $0.00. My local store could not help, since the order was placed online. Just got off the phone with customer support, fingers crossed that my refund goes through without issue.

I like that best buy sells third party gift cards.

I received one inactivated card, which is confirmed by bestbuy and ebay online support. However bestbuy refused to refund me online. Store manager declined too. Stay away from bestbuy giftcard.

Only order one gift card at a time. I ordered two ebay gift cards and only one of them was activated and therefore was not useable. Bestbuy does not include an activation receipt so I was out $50.

I tried to use the gift card and eBay said it had zero balance. Best Buy sold me a used gift card.

Scratched the code, entered it online, and it doesn’t work.

I just needed the activation code .And i just got new phone i lost my former phone.

Bought this for my dad as a gift, he tried using it and it had $0 on it! Contacted customer service which took over 30 min, and they even tried activating the card but it kept failing so they had to process a refund! Now I’m ended up with no gift for my dad because of this. Not buying from here again.
