Gift for my mom who is 83 and does not like change

does the job as far as a back up camera- sensors not included- but after installation I now cannot seem to connect my phone through bluetooth- i will have to look into this issue

The unit works well, but it takes a while to realize that the obstacles on the sides of the car are not in view...

Great for someone not use to driving large vehicle

It would have been great if I could have gotten the mount to work on the Mercedes. The picture quality was good.

Tech was afraid to remove stock rear view mirror, he said it was not compatible. But reviews showed this unit being installed on the same vehicle. He wanted me to bring the vehicle to a glass installer and pay $150 to have the rear view mirror removed and pay for best buy install. No thank you, asked for a full refund.

You get what you pay for. First one I purchased didn't have all the contents. Returned the item for another one that had a missing mount. We made it work without the mount by the camera image is reversed which makes it very difficult to use.

I had the product put in my f150 which I don't drive offend. I did notice that the mirror is not as clear and darker than I expected.

Had BestBuy install this one for me. It's an ok backup camera; however, items are reversed in display which hinders the usability of the camera.

Had appointment to have it set up and it was a defect. I thought it was good item because it was the most expensive back up camera they had but that didn’t seem to be the case. Also they did not have anymore in stock and when i went back I’m pretty sure they put the same one back on stock.

Bright clear camera image. Takes a few seconds to switch on after putting car in reverse. Takes a while to be able to judge distances.

When in reverse, there is so much reflection that you need to block the light to clearly see where you are going and what is behind you. The viewing field is much less than the factory unit in my 2013 Ford Explorer. It has the green, yellow, and red lines for closeness of the objects behind you, but you can't decipher which one of the lines that you are "in". After $400 including the installation and my current knowledge, I would NOT purchase the unit again. P.S. when it's installed, make sure that the in-line switch is in the position for facing backwards and not forwards or else what you see on the right side of the mirror is actually on the left-outside of the car and vice versa. Another way to put it is that the image projects the opposite outside of the car.

I bought the rearview camera for my wife's pickup truck and after spending about $400 with installation was quite disappointed with the image quality. While it might be useful in helping spot an object directly behind the vehicle, the combination of the small size and poor quality of the picture limit its usefulness.

rearview mirror has too many functions and could not be replaced by this camera might be fine for some people

While the camera works as it says, I was a little disappointed in that it didn't improve the scene in my rear-view mirror much.

Needs to have a bolder image to compete with mirror. I would prefer a separate dash mounted screen if I were to purchase again.

The camera isn't top notch. The picture isn't crisp. But it does its job. I can back up without hitting anyone or anything.

Installation was a little harder than anticipated and camera view a little fuzzy

The camera has a limited viewing angle (it doesn’t show the edges of the bumper) but it Does what it should.

The camera was ok but it would not fit securly to my window with the included bracket(2016 dodge ram)
