Nice product, but difficult to install yourself. Not worth the cost of installation.

Bought the backup mirror after two geek squad members recommended it. I had to drive 40 minutes to Columbus GA for a $99 Best Buy install package. I set up the appointment, drive to Columbus, and was told the mirror would not work in my car (Jeep Compass with blUetooth in existing mirror) BUT if they could install it - the minimum install charge was $169 + tax. Only alternative recommended was a new sound system at over $600. Took the mirror back to the Auburn AL store. Never again!

It seems things are closer than they appear in the Mirror.

PROS: Looks just like most factory rear view mirrors Good quality LCD that is bright enough for daylight use Dual video inputs Cables are long enough to reach under the dash Cons No garage door buttons (if you use them on your current mirror)

Wish it was a free install not 160 dollars please fix

camera works really well. would recommend it to anyone.

This is not a universal kit despite the advertisement. Thankfully Best Buy was great with refunding me the install and item costs so no worries there.

I’ve had 3 different technicians look/work on this unit, It is barely working, I get a lot of lines on the Monitor. The technician at Best Buy however IS very good at continuing to trouble shoot this issue.

Unfortunately, the camera angle is bad on my car. I do not recommend if your license plate is on the lower bumper because the camera sits too low which make the visual on the rear view camera really bad and inaccurate. This product was recommended and installed by Best Buy it wasn’t something I installed myself and I’m not satisfied about the outcome. Waste of money not sure why this product was recommended for my vehicle type.

All I want is a rear camera to help me back up with safety. This is the second product that I've bought from this company and the problem is the same. Once connected, the rear camera is on full time wiping out the usefulness of the rearview mirror. I am going to have it removed.

This rear view mirror/back up camera kit works great, but has a few pros and cons. Pros: Back up camera works great if installed properly. Rear view mirror monitor can easily be powered by wiring it to either the radio, ignition switch, fuse box, dc power adapter, or the reverse lights. Includes a second video connection to install a video device. If installed properly with wires hidden in car molding and head liner, the rear view mirror and back up camera will look like it was installed by your car manufacturer. Cons: Doesn't include t-taps and male slide in connectors for easy wiring to a power source without the need to cut and splice car wires together. Did not come with extra wiring to wire the monitor to the reverse lights if you don't plan on adding a second video source. When mounted to the supplied license plate mount, the camera moves loosely when it should be tightly secured to prevent the camera from bouncing and hitting against the license plate while driving. Didn't come with any zip ties to secure the wires to the vehicle. I bought extra wire, t-taps and male slide in connectors to connect the rear view mirror monitor to my reverse lights to prevent having to tap into my radio or other power source under my dash since I dont plan on adding a second video source to my mirror.

I purchased the item, then my appointment was canceled due to covid( not there fault) however my next scheduled appointment was pushed out 2 more months, only to be told that i would loose all my blue tooth onstar capabilities once installed. When i purchased the item no one told me this. I had to return it and that was 3 months of my time wasted
