I got this solar powered back up camera to install on my 19’ Class C RV Motorhome and it works great for my needs. I didn’t do the installation behind the license plate as it was intended because the placement of my license plate on my RV wasn’t centered so I installed it on the 4” square metal bumper instead. The camera quality itself is good enough for my needs.. I like that I can reverse the images and change the brightness levels. It does have the red, yellow, green parking lines which is nice. I’m not sure why it got a few other reviews that weren’t great but it totally meets my expectations and not having to run wires or anything was a HUGE plus for me. The solar panel seems to be working just fine but I think to protect it while my RV isn’t in use for the winter I will wrap it with a plastic bag to protect it from the elements. I like the fact that I can unplug it from the cigarette adapter so it’s not plugged in, drawing current off my battery while it’s not in use.

Easy installation. Good display. Long battery life

The only issue i had when i went to install it was the solar panel at the bottom wouldn't fit through the narrowed opening i have for my plate, so i had to unscrew the solar panel from the frame to make it fit and then the solar panel just is right on top of my bumper. It works great and i don't know how i did without it for so long and wish i had it a LONG time ago. Sometimes the sun/headlights can wash out any view of vehicles or objects if it's at a certain height or angle

Set up was about as easy as it gets and it works quite well, so I'm pleased with it. The only thing I wish it had was the option to leave it on instead of turning off after 30, 60, or 90 seconds.

just what i needed.camera quality excellent and controls easy to operate. only issue was making unit stick to dash board keeps coming loose.

Good picture, reliable, maintains charge, easy to install & use

Super easy to install. Bought to put on the back of our 18' travel trailer. After I hooked it up worked great standing outside with the monitor. Once I put the monitor inside my Silverado and mounted it. No signal. Tried several different places inside vehicle. No signal. Ended up having to return it. Very sad as it was so easy and looked great from outside.

Ok purchase but only lasted a year. Solar panel or battery gave out. so, all I have left is a 5" monitor that can,t be hooked up to anything.

But daylight distant views seem to have trouble with low sun exposure AND I had to put a piece of rubber behind the solar cell/plate assembly to keep it from banging against the car Or Drill two more holes into my car Not really ready for prime time

Easy to install. I've got a Jeep Liberty, license plate way on the left and spare tire mounted center on back gate. Works well so far. Wish I could adjust the lines on the display but I just mentally noted where a vehicle it's on the screen when it's right behind me 3 ft away. In Perry sure with time i will know exactly my position in relation to things around me on the screen. I might even cut up the frame the solar center and camera comes on and make it my own custom install. I'm sure it'd be easy. Just wondering how i could make it not look like a hack job. I think I could get the camera on center write my own harness put the solar cell somewhere optimal for light.

I own a different brand also which has proved incredible so i tried this brand. It worked ok out of the box after fully charging but soon lost charge after a week and a half in service. I removed it and fully charged it again and it lost charge again. I charged it a third time and it has remained two thirds charged for a while. The solar charger is either not working or not adequate to keep it charged. The directions are very simplistic and give little help.

Bought this for my sons first car. Very easy to install and great performance. Love that it’s solar powered!!

So far so good. The back up camera works great. I use it to hook up to my camper. My daughter is 13 and she lined it up in one shot with the camera. I did have to trim off some of the rubber off my bumper to make it fit because of the solar charger. Thats my only complaint.

Exactly as advertised. Simple setup, truly wireless. The picture is clear. Couldn't be happier with this backup camera!

The camera is very easy to install and has a good view. The only part that requires a wire to be attached is the monitor which hooks to the lighter socket. The camera is solar powered. Very good night vision.

purchased after reading about it from Consumers report. Worked exactly as stated and very easy to set up. Most important, I had a slight water problem and called manufacturer. BEST customer service I have ever received. I returned old unit and received new one promptly. Highly recomend
