    Simple enough to install if you follow the directions. I replaced both my old thermostats with these and couldn't be happier. The refurbished ones came nicely packaged and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend saving money and picking up one of them. Waiting to see if energy costs will average down.

    I have a 2 zones heating/cooling system. I have an exobee4 for downstairs and needed another one to control the upstairs zone. Very easy to install and setup, programming was simple. Geofencing helps with additional savings when you are away from the house and the vacation schedule is very useful when you are out of town. I control both ecobeea with my phone which add to the convenience.

    The ecobee thermostat is the most universal smart thermostat. It works with Amazon Alexa, Google, and Apple Homekit. If your like me and your thermostat is not in one of the main rooms of your house or you don't need the Alexa built-in, you can save money with the ecobee3 lite.

    Was hesitant to buy this refurbished but after all these months not a single complaint responds perfect directly from the ecobee screen or the app is always convinient

    The refurbished one works just as good as a new one but just a little easier on the wallet. This is our 3rd ecobee and we love them!

    Need a thermostat that was HomeKit compatible. Excellent features. Enjoy being able to control via voice with HomePod and adjust via smartphone Easy to follow directions for set up

    I think smart stats as a whole are over priced, but they sure are nice to have. Happy to have gotten mine open box and saved a few bucks. Looking forward to years of remote controlling my heat.

    Garbage. Refurbished - does not work and Best Buy will not exchange or give a credit because it's been 15 days even though Best Buy says it has a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. Best Buy manager in San Rafael said "generally refurbished is not a good way to go".
