Great thermostat. I have this in both of my homes. No issues.

Was relatively easy to install (only if your AC techs put extra wires in for ya). I love being able to set profiles from the app and then never have to adjust the thermostat every night and morning!

Fast installation, easy setup, looks good, paired it with an Ecobee doorbell as a start to a new security system.

Excellent product that beats the competition by having better hardware than the rest. Some other smart thermostats I have used have good software but terrible hardware that fails quickly, this is not the case here!

First time changing a thermostat and other than trying to get it turned on it was an easy set up. Blue wire wasn’t hooked up to our furnace so once I did that it worked! We love it and runs smooth

We have had this unit for about 6 weeks now. It has saved us approx. $20 on our first bills since install and like the smart features that automatically allow it to adjust to temp range.

HomeKit capability works exactly as intended. Very simple to install on your own. I didn’t even have to cut power to the area to do so.

It works very well takes little while to set up and to get used to it. After that just have to play with it worth the money

This is my second Ecobee setup. I went with the essentials after my Nest died, and I wanted something that supported HomeKit (Apple). It works well and does the "basic" features well, like changing the temperature from your phone. Additionally, it enables you to establish a routine and set the temperature based on your phone's presence or a pre-set schedule. If this is for an Airbnb or short-term rental, I would recommend installing a few smart sensors so it can detect when someone is home and turn on automatically. Overall, a great entry level smart Thermostat.
