Much better performance than the previous model. Easy to connect, too and look nicer. Only downside is they are expensive.

The principal bedroom was far from the thermostat and was warmer than the setting. Putting a remote in the bedroom told the thermostat to monitor both locations and the room is more comfortable.

I've got one of those house with a huge temperature variance between the up and downstairs levels. Bought these sensor to set in different rooms. Depending who is home and what room there in these seem like they are working out very well to keep occupied spaces comfortable. Very happy so far!
Not much with the set up and I think they'll pay for themselves over time.

I purchased this item to place in my home office which is over my garage. It use to be the hardest room to heat or cool because the register in the house does nothing for this room. Since I'm usually in my office 8-9 hrs a day, I need it to be comfortable enough to work. Before... I had to place a space heater or fan in my room to get through the day. Since I placed the sensor in the room, it knows when I'm occupying my office. So this room is always comfortable whilst in use. I've saved energy by placing one in the rooms that are barely occupied to save money. It's a great idea! But the setup can be tiresome for this little guy! FYI... This little thing has to be "paired" with your thermostat and it's NOT easy. The instructions are simple, but you'd think you're losing your mind because it should be a breeze to pair with the thermostat like anything else you pair on a regular basis! I had to phone Ecobee for assistance. The agent said it needed an UPDATE to pair?! Why doesn't it say on the box to contact Ecobee in advance for this?! Or better yet, push an automatic update like everything else does? Also, you can not find out the status/temperature of the room when you ask your smart device. I use Google. "Hey Google... What's the temperature in the office?" The response is.."My apologies I can't assist with that yet". And there's no way to tell the hub about the new device, because it's "paired" with the thermostat and not actually "connected" to the network per say. It doesn't give you a reading for the room although it seems truly capable. The only way to get the reading for the room is to open the app. For something so advanced, that is so behind the times.

Easy to setup and use. Can be used from showing movement in a room to telling the temperature in it. The come with a base stand or a wall mount. By QR code or manual input you can assign the sensor to you Ecobee. From there it will show temp, if movement was detected, and can be used to let the ecobee more accurately heat and cool your house. Small and easy to place to anywhere. No problems with range even being a floor apart. Informative addition to an Ecobee.

These SmartSensors were super easy to set up and paired instantly with my ecobee thermostat. I placed them in rooms we use most, and now the system adjusts based on where we actually are. Temperature feels more consistent, and I’ve noticed some energy savings too. Sleek design, accurate sensing—definitely worth it if you want to get the most from your ecobee setup!

I grabbed these to augment my Ecobee thermostat setup. The extra sensors tell the system what different rooms are at and it can better average out a temperature across a floor / house. I saw people crying about poor battery life for these sensors in online reviews but I haven't had to change a single one yet in ~15 months.

These little devices take the ecobee thermostate from good to great! We put one in every major room and that allows us to select what rooms we want the thermostat to consider the temperature when making decisions about running equipment.
Did I mention that each comfort setting can select which sensors to use? This means you can have "night time" only consider bedrooms, daytime the main areas of the house (or home office), etc.
Every house I've lived (for many years) has been made more comfortable with these devices coupled with an ecobee thermostat.
Note that there is no replacement available for the stands/wall mounts from ecobee.
Sadly the biggest downside is the battery. Ecobee uses relatively hard-to get batteries for their remote sensors. Buy a bulk of them from an online retailer when needed. Otherwise I have zero complaints about these little things.

Small, easy to set up and unobtrusive. Work well with the Ecobee thermostats to set an appropiate temperature in different places in the house based on comfort setting / schedule.

My AC was running extensively and thinking that there were some temperature differences throughout the house, I bought these sensors. They are fantastic and have helped the AC to not run as much, as well as maintain a more consistent and comfortable temperature. Setup was easy with my ecobee thermostat. I plan to get a few more!

When you add these little guys to your home system , it just makes the ecobee thermo stat that much better , I’ve bought six of these little guys and I can honestly say my ac system knows me better then ever , love the capabilities and reliability that comes with them. My system knows exactly when I enter a room and prepares my space accordingly .

Have had these installed of a couple of weeks. I like being able to monitor the temp in rooms the thermostat is not in and how the Ecobee evens out the temp between the two rooms. Also use one to monitor occupancy for the unit in our play room so it’s. It running all the time. Pairs well with ecobee 3 lite to make it almost as good as the highly priced ecobee thermostat

This device is a must-have. I use them to set my bathroom temperature in the morning. I take the one in my bedroom and move it to the bathroom and set the team to 75. It gets to the team I want in the place I need it to be. Its replaces having to have a heater in an area that is not always warm. Its amazing.

I have several of these in two houses. One house is mostly A/C year round and the other is in the North where only the heat is controlled by ecobee. In both circumstances these sensors really seem to make the ecobee thermostat create a more comfortable environment throughout the entire house. While these can’t do anything to correct improper vents (too little or to much), they are pretty amazing in evening out the A/C or heat as much as possible simply by controlling the thermostat (it uses an average of all sensors to attempt to get the ideal temperature). These are essential in utilizing the automatic away and follow me features of the ecobee thermostat. As an added bonus, ecobee natively supports HomeKit. With the HomeKit integration, these sensors allow for automations sense they are also occupancy sensors.

These units are smaller than I expected, which is good. Each is about the area of a matchbook. The best devices are those that do their jobs without being noticed.
It took longer to open the box than to pair the units to my Ecobee app. Pull a battery tab, scan the QR code, choose some settings, and done.
I purchased these to more evenly heat/cool my 2,800 sqft house. The upstairs bedrooms tend to differ about 5-6 degrees from the main floor.

Sensors were super easy to place. Nice that you have the option to either wall mount or place it on the magnetic holder. Syncing it to the Ecobee thermostat was a simple step. We have them in our bedroom and living room. We use the bedroom sensor to set the temperature priority at night, which is a great feature. Overall, we are happy with the Ecobee system and look forward to the energy savings.

Took me a little bit to figure out the correct place for these but I really like that I can keep track of spots of my house where the AC bents need adjusting or replacing. It has helped keep the house in a more consistent and comfortable temperature so I love these.
