The two extra sensors allow me to get a great understanding of whole home temperature. Setup could not be easier and the sensors connected right away with the Ecobee thermostat. Includes both stand and wall mount options.

I have a multi-level home with a single thermostat upstairs. I also have some insulation issues that cause some significant variance in some rooms vs. others. By placing these sensors in every room I have a better understanding of what is going on w/my home when it comes to our air conditioning. I was able to fine tune which rooms I wanted to monitor to create a fair average for both stories of the house so that our downstairs wouldn't turn into an ice-box and our upstairs wouldn't be uncomfortably warm. I had one sensor fall from about 6-7 feet and the face of it came off but it was easily popped back into place and the device continued to work.

Sensor work great. Connected very easily to my Ecobee thermostat and help keep my house temp regulated.

We just installed a new HVAC unit in our home. The thermostat is down at the end of the hallway, away from the living area of the house. I put one of these in our family room and our kitchen, because those areas were a little warmer during the summer, and cooler during the winter. I adding these evened out the temperature in our home and have these areas are much more comfortable as a result.

I’ve resisted investing in a smart thermostat for a while. Recently, I’ve had to replace my central air/furnace and a smart thermostat was required. My installer recommended the ecobee because of these sensors and the ability of the system to “see” when humans are home and make adjustments to ensure the room they occupy is cool and use less energy when they are away. My goodness, certainly my electric bill is lower because of having. We’re equipment, but I also believe having these sensors has helped in reducing the run time of my air conditioning even more. Proof is here: this review is for the purchase of additional sensors so that EVERY room in my home has a sensor. And, sure enough, I’ve noticed the system running even less while consider levels are maintained.

Bought these for around the house. They are good for the value. The only issue I find is that the battery runs down quicker then the old sensors. Overall connectivity and setup are easy and straightforward

These new sensors are a nice update for the ecobee. They are easy to install and look nice. They do a good job of helping keep my kids rooms cool upstairs. Wish they were cheaper but caught them $20 off

These are great when paired with an Ecobee to help stailize the temps depending on what room you are occupying at any given time. I was also able to add these to Homeassistant and create an automation to turn off lights in any unoccupied room. Could be somewhat cheaper.

The remote sensors are very useful when you got several environments. In my case the bedrooms are in the 2nd floor and the thermostat in the 1st, so the cooling/heating was not consistent. With the remotes, I have created a schema that allow me to keep similar temp in the 1st and 2nd floor, particularly in the bedrooms.

These sensors easily connected to my Ecobee 3 Lite thermostat, and I get more precise temperature control in distant rooms, especially my upstairs bedroom. I can set which thermostat is controlling or blending control for each setting so temperatures can be averaged throughout the home. This is really a great way to have remote thermostats controlling your HVAC system

Easy to set up and gives your thermostat a full picture of your home. I installed on in every room. Nice to ask Alexa what the temperature is in each room too.

So many ways to get the temp right and this is an option by room! Work fairly seamlessly, considering it's WIFI sometimes it's a bit glitchy, but probably due to WIFI.

We live in Florida and some of our rooms with large windows get really hot during the day, but with out thermostat being in the hallway, the temperature never reflected what it actually felt like in our home. We purchased these to help maintain a more comfortable overall fell in our home and they have been working great. With the app we can tell the actual temperature of each room and have set preset that Ecobee is maintaining. They notice when you are in a room to adjust the temperature, but are not adjusting based on rooms you are not utilizing. They are great.

Our 2 story House would always have different temperature degrees prior to purchasing the sensors. Once I placed 2 sensors upstairs, one in each bedroom...the HVAC has controlled the same temperature throughout the house. Glad I made the purchase. These sensors work awesome and have helped save on the Electric bill.

The SmartSensors do a great job of detecting movement in individual rooms to communicate with the ecobee smart thermostat without picking up the movements of pets. The SmartSensors are operated by a small hearing aid sized battery. The sensors must be placed in an open area to have a full range of motion by either setting on a shelf or a mount is provided with them to affix to a wall. The bases are connected to the sensors via a magnet. The sensors are relatively easy to connect to the thermostat through the ecobee app. We have had ours for a few months at opposite ends of the house which communicate with two ecobee smart thermostats.

I got these to get a better picture of temperature in the house. I feel they have helped a ton. They connect thru the app very easily. Great addition to my Ecobee lite.

There's not much to these, but so far they do what they say they do and seem to work well.
