Works as intended and easy to setup with the ecobee app. Lil pricy for what they are but do help keep the house a balanced temperature

For Ecobee 4 users, these sensors are first rate. They do exactly what they say they do, namely detect motion and report on room/area temperature. Note, I have not tried the wall mount option. These 2 additional sensors have allowed me to place one in each room of my two story house with the exception of bathrooms, and closets.

I got these to pair with my new Ecobee thermostat with voice control. However, one of the units battery gets quickly depleted for no apparent reason. I have to keep a stock of batteries ready at home at all times since I will start getting alerts only 2-3 days after changing (luckily the batteries themselves are pretty cheap). I have 3 total sensors and only 1 has an issue... so it's probably just a defect. Other than that, I love the option to see the temperature and occupancy in each room and then make adjustments to schedules and current temperature based on those readings in specific rooms. I have an older home, and while the option to add a dual-zone HVAC is probably the BEST... this is certainly much cheaper.

I added these sensors to my newly installed Ecobee 3lite. They are very small and you don't notice them in the room. Please read up on how Ecobee has decided to use the sensors. They don't use them to get rooms all the way up to a certain temperature. They are used to gather an average temperature, and create a comfortable transition between rooms as you walk around the house. If you have a single furnace, you will find it difficult to get all rooms to the same temperature, but averaging them out does work well

I purchased these two additional sensors for my upstairs bedrooms and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised how good they work. They are easy to set up under the Ecobee app. I would recommend these if you have a large home. They work well.

I’m extremely happy I purchased these, but really they should come packaged with the thermostat to begin with. Before I bought these, the ability to customize the temperature in my house was way more limited. My house is less than 3,000 square feet but has a high open loft area making it a little challenging to regulate. By adding two sensors to the one that came with the thermostat, plus the thermostat itself, I now have 4 distinct zones that can be monitored for activity, enabled or ignored, and adjusted automatically depending on the time of day. This has increased my comfort and lowered my energy use. Ecobee would be smart to package these, or at least 2 instead of only 1, with the original thermostat in my opinion as this feels like a required up-sell to make the thermostat work as intended.

It's nice to be able to find the temperature in our bedroom or the office, and it senses motion so I could (if I wanted to) see when my wife is at her desk. I thought I could use it to adjust the temperature, but if so, I don't know how to do it.

Quick connectivity and accurate readings. Definitely a plus to be able to view every rooms temperature for the kids.

So nice to be able to use the follow me feature, also to see the temperature in several rooms. Such a great improvement over the one temperature at the thermostat in the hallway!

Love them! The occupancy feature and follow me is a game changer. My old Nest would always use a room much cooler or warmer and I was changing the room manually. All day…. And all night… year after year, until I discovered the Ecobee! The first day it was installed we could tell the difference.

I needed to buy a new sensor for the house because the original sensor stopped working. I bought this smart model, and it connected right away with my Ecobee. I haven't had any issues.

Great companion for the smart thermostat. Small form but accurate readings, and the motion sensor makes Nest temperature sensor look outdated.

So far we have only used one sensor as we're waiting for construction to complete on another level to our home. The EcoBee thermostat acts as the first sensor and lets you know the temp where it's located but we have a 3 story house and the temp varies on each level, so we needed a way to know what the current temp was on the other levels to regulate the temp evenly. This is a mountain home where the difference in temp between floors can easily be 10-15 degrees. Works great so far.

So much easier to have our house get consistent heat. Have one in every room now!

These things are great - along with an ecobee home base I can easily tune my temperature control settings based on the temps in various places around the house - can ignore each at any time too. I have 4 + the main thermostat.
