I have only had this fan for a few weeks, but so far it is a great fan. The speeds 1-4 are pretty quiet but 5 and 6 might get a little noisy. The remote control feature is really nice and comes in handy alot. The fan blows the air really good. It's very sturdy and easy to put together.

Pros: Amazing air output (highest level 6 the air is forceful without being harsh), has a remote (including oscillation), the front blade cover is removable through clasps that come off for easy cleaning, nice heavy base, quiet blade operation, classic metal look. Cons: The remote has cheap flat buttons under a layer of plastic that is already wrinkled and separating from the surface (it doesn't look like the one advertised - mine is small and all black), the remote and the buttons on the fan base all make a shrill "beep" when pushed - it gets annoying fast (plus makes for disturbing a quiet household late at night), no way to turn off the child protection setting that makes it stop dead if it feels skin on the metal cover (annoying to have it LOUDLY grind to a stop if you accidentally get too close), doesn't remember its last setting when turned off (so if it was at level 6 when you turn off, it will be back at level 1 when you turn it back on and you're looking at another series of loud beeps to get there). Conclusion: To be honest I considered returning it, but fell too much in love with the amazing air output. It got me through several 100+ degree heatwaves and we're buddies now. (Though I still glare at that dang loud remote. Why, EcoHouzng, why.)

The assembly of this fan was simple. The operation of the fan is very quiet and the remote is nice to have. The family is able to move plenty of air in my room and keep the room cooler. It's nice to be able to control the fan rotation by the remote.

This fan(made in China) has to be the nicest fan I've ever owned and I have owned quite a few. Someone took the time to engineer a quality fan, that my wife even says looks good, and got it right. I can't find anything wrong with this fan and especially the remote. You control so many things from the remote(yes, oscillation being one of them) you don't have to push down the big knob on the back of the motor for oscillation...there is no big knob. Everything is intuitive about the controls on the fan and remote. This is the quietest fan I've ever owned, you only hear it running on the 5th and 6th speed...that's right there are 6 fan speeds. The only con I feel someone might suggest is the oscillation speed is fast. It cycles back and forth quickly. Buy this fan you will not be disappointed. I own two of them.

Love this product. I was apprehensive initially but thanks to many good reviews which I totally agree. The fan is very quiet and effective. Assembling the fan did not take much take and it was quite easy. Recommend it for its noise free operation.

This was easy to assemble and put right to work. I prefer to have a light breeze at night but my wife doesn't and this works perfect for that. It has many options including a remote control. Doesn't make any noise at slow speeds and really only hear the wind, not the motor, when running at higher speeds.

It is quiet and it blows hard and you can do everything by remote been good so far

Fan worked well in the beginning. But after about one month, some speeds and settings no longer functioned. It's attractive, but I would have preferred that it worked properly. What's more, I did not use it everyday.

I would definitely recommend this fan. The only thing the base isn't too sturdy.

So, I bought one of these 2 years ago and really grew to love it. Was excited to have another one, but, wow, this new stock is awful. It lasted four days before refusing to turn on and sadly had to return it (that part went smoothly).

DO NOT BUY!!! This worked for 1, maybe 2 weeks. Never worked correctly, some speeds do not even activate. One of my worst purchases ever.

The base of this fan is cement with a plastic cover over it. The item was so poorly packaged that when I received it the plastic cover was split in half. Just a mess and I returned it. Would not recommend.

This fan is awesome for every day use. It is easy to use and has a great mechanism to protect children from getting hurt.

I purchased this fan about a year ago. The fan does the job WHEN IT ACTUALLY WORKS. It constantly shuts off on its own, some functions never worked, some fan speeds (1, 3, 6) don’t work, it won’t rotate and at one point it wouldn’t turn on! It comes with a one (1) year “limited” warranty because it breaks down on the 13th month and I’m almost sure the company knows that their products are garbage and do not last because they will only assist you if it’s within that one (1) year AND you are responsible for shipping the product back to them. Did I mention they are located in Canada? You will be paying more on shipping (since the fan is not lightweight whatsoever) and pay custom fees. My fan currently stopped twice while writing this review and no one is around the fan. Ridiculous! Best Buy should stop selling this brand because they are crooks! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I wanted a remote control fan for such a long time (anyone who has hot flashes will understand this). I finally found this one and I love it. I am ordering a second one right now. It is quiet and I don't have to keep jumping up to turn it on and off. I wish it came in another color besides black, which does not really go with my décor.

Good fan but the assembly instructions weren’t detailed enough for me. I wish the cord was longer and the remote used AA or AAA batteries. Other than that, this fan does the job and it’s very pretty.
