I was curious and decided to try one of these robot cleaners. I came into this without any knowledge or what to expect. I am pleasantly surprised at the cleaning capability and how smart this robot is. If you have room in the budget this is a must have. Pros: Able to clean Carpets , Hard floors and Mops Intelligent , changes modes instantly across multi-surfaces Strong suction for carpets Very thorough on floors Software Easy to Use Features Runs quietly Extra bush and accessories Great battery life, I was able to run 9 back 2 back runs to test before Low battery warning appeared Strong cleaning bristles Cons: Small reservoir for fluid Small container for debris cleaner Charging is slow Setup: The setup was pretty easy, with an easy walk-through. Honestly at first it will feel overwhelming because the book is so thick and when you take it out of the box there are so many attachments. Do not let that discourage you as the setup will be easy and once you find your spot to place the robot everything else falls into place. Cleaning: The cleaning was quick, quiet and thorough it recommends to watch it the first time around in case it goes somewhere it is not suppose to or grabs wires. I have not had any problems on the multiple runs I had the robot do and it cleans corners really well. Maintenance:: The containers are easy to access and clean out when needed. The brush is also hidden underneath the hood to allow easy access to the brush. Overall very impressed of the ease of cleaning Software: Very easy to setup and provides alot of options including a map that shows a layout of the floor that has been cleaned. The initial scan takes time as the robot slowly goes over each section. However after it builds the map you can customize the map to exclude sections. The software has everything including a log showing past cleans / times. I was very impressed with how easy it is to use the application and find myself playing with it alot telling the robot to go clean. Overall I would strongly recommend this product. It is such a fun way to clean the rooms. Keep in mind however if you are wanting deep cleaning then a regular vacuum will be needed. Otherwise if you are wanting for everyday cleaning / scheduling then this is a great buy !

I've never had a robot clean my home, but now I'm convinced! It was easy to setup, all you have to do is find a good spot with plenty of space to place the charging dock. Let it charge to full the first time and press the "auto button", it will start mapping your home. I would recommend to follow the robot thru the entire process. A little trick I did to have the robot avoid certain problem areas (for example where my entertainment center is, there are lots of cables and if you don't account this it will eat them or get entangled, also it will have trouble with area carpets as they are a little raised) is to carry with me the box it came it and I placed it in front of the robot to simulate a wall, that way it would think there is one and map it, and avoid it in the future. @@@@@ Also, be careful to NOT PICK IT UP while it its on, or it will reset the whole mapping you have and done and delete it from the app! You will have to start over! I see a lot of people complaining of this, that their saved maps got accidentally deleted from the app. More than likely they picked it up (even when its not cleaning, you could pick it up while charging and it will delete itself). To do so, you must first turn the switch off. @@@@@ Other than that, it cleans very well, the container got full after cleaning my apartment, so if you have a large house, you may need to dump it a few times, its not too big. The moping function is great as I've a hardwood floor kitchen, it cleans well leaving the floor just dump, as if you had moped by hand, just a little better. The app is great, you can setup cleaning schedules, create virtual areas and designate which ones you want clean, or the whole thing. I would highly recommend it to constantly clean your home. I'm having it do it daily, and then once a week I do a thorough cleaning, and definitely it makes it easier as everything is kept cleaner!!

    Easy Set up, App-Tastic

I have, until now, always been a skeptic of having robots do my dirty (pun intended) work. I have since changed my tune. I cannot put into words the burden that this little guy has removed from my life. I used to, and still do, dread cleaning day. That hassle is now removed from my life. The awesomeness of this machine boils down to 2 areas in which this brand exceeds all other that I have seen. Set up/App Enablement, and the tech that is involved to support that app. With zero exaggeration, it look me 5 minutes to install the app, set up the unit and begin the first vacuum of my main level. As the cleaner drives around my house it actually creates a little blue print of your house showing floor changes (carpet/hardwood) and mapping out obstructions such as tables or couches, etc. You can set timed clean, isolate specific areas which need extra attention too. There are real time cleaning stats for geeks like me to view such as run time, sq foot cleaned, etc. After the first pass through of my main level was complete the dust reservoir was full, I was in shock. My wife and I are in heaven with this little guy making daily cleaning trips. The second area that makes me love this even more is the tech that is behind the bot. Many motion sensors, floor sensing tech to know when to switch between vacuum and mopping. The reaction time of running into obstructions was minimal too... if it bumps into a wall, the bumper senses the wall and maps it into the next route so it doesnt run into the wall again. I am beyond amazed with the tech behind this machine. All in all highly recommended and a major time saver!

We had a cheap robot vacuum that I had purchased off of Amazon for around $100. Needless to say this is a huge upgrade. It has done a great job of mapping out our house and not cleaning the same spot over and over again. The mopping feature was really the reason we went with this model. It isn't going to do a deep scrub of our floors, but it does a good job.

The DEEBOT OZMO 930 is a smart robot with vacuum and mop cleaning ability. It has navigation system that can be mapped for your home for customized cleaning. You can generate map of your home and then use as a boundary to let the robot know where to clean. You can also set priorities for the area that needs more frequent cleaning. The robot can identify the difference in carpet vs the hardwood floor and automatically change its suction power based on the floor. You can control this robot completely using the app and schedule the times, set modes, etc. It also comes with the mop option, so you can schedule and use both vacuum and mop at the same time. The app setup/connection to the robot did take couple of tries before I could connect and access the robot. The nice feature to set is the continuous cleaning where the robot will recharge if it is low on battery and resume cleaning. Since I live in the apartment, I do not have any problem of different floor levels. I would imagine that might be a issue to carry this one up and down for cleaning. Overall a great robot vacuum and mop combo that gets job done. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add this as part of their home automation collection.

If you're thinking of purchasing a robot vacuum cleaner, it is first important to have realistic expectations. I didn't expect the Deebot OZMO 930 to do the serious deep cleaning that our Rainbow handles. It's just not a realistic expectation for a unit that is a fraction of the size, with a tiny motor, and all the control electronics, batteries, and drive systems to make this thing maneuver around your house. Once you have realistic expectations, this thing is fabulous. It cleans while you're doing something else. Working, cutting the grass, taking a nap, whatever. It's completely hands off once it finishes mapping your space. It does a great job of getting up the stuff you track in during the course of the day, and of maintaining your high traffic areas. It also has two little brushes on front that sweep stuff toward the center to help move the dirt into the path of the vacuum. The Ecovacs app is great. It allows you to see the map of your space the vacuum has created, distinguishing between carpeted and hard surfaces. It also shows cleaning progress and the robot's current location. It offers the ability to schedule cleaning times and types, as well as the ability to start and stop the robot remotely, so you can have the robot clean from your desk at work, or anywhere you have internet access. Alexa integration also works well. A simple "Alexa, tell Deebot to start cleaning" will have the robot do its thing. Saying, "Alexa, tell Deebot to start charging" will have the robot return to its charging station. What else do you need. Finally, we come to the reason I deducted a star... Mopping. My expectations probably were too high, but I'm disappointed with the mopping function. It's simply a damp mop. It will pick up light dust, but nothing more. I suppose it will keep a clean floor clean, but if there is a little drip or drop here or there, don't expect it to pick them up. It will just moisten the area, but the spot will remain. Overall, I love the OZMO. It's a fantastic maintenance device, and I hope it will tidy up while I'm doing other things for many years to come.

The Deebot Ozmo 930 is a pretty cool robot vacuum and mop. Setup is pretty straightforward, open the box, download the app, reset the robot and it gets automatically configured. The next step is for the robot to do an initial cleaning run where it maps the entire house, so prior to unboxing, you shuold really prepare the place for the robot to get around and clean. Don't worry, you can always reset and restart the process again later. I found the app very easy to use and it provided a nice interface to control the robot, aside from the buttons on the robot itself. The vacuuming is surprisingly thorough, sometimes with robot vacuums, there's a bit you need to do yourself as the robot may not be able to navigate or reach. That's still the case here, deep or fluffy enough carpets can't be traversed by the robot and if you have floor level overhangs that are shorter than the robot, it won't be able to get in there to clean, but I found in a typical house, the robot was actually able to get into the small nooks near the bottoms of cabinets and kitchen drawers and did well getting inside the legs of chairs and tables. Cleaning speed for a small room, 8x10 was about 10-15 minutes - though this also included the initial mapping which may slow things down a bit. It was pretty cool watching via the app as the robot discovered more of the room and kept track of areas that had no yet been vacuumed. It can recognize and auto dock to it's charger, though that does require you have a open space somewhere to locate it on the floor. The docking and auto-charging allows you to configure cleaning for when people are away or asleep so the robot isn't underfoot or dealing with a lot of interruptions. Ultimately, I was pretty pleased with the robot's performance. clean up is pretty simple and this is where things could get hairy. The tray for debris is relatively small, by comparison to even a small handheld vacuum. If you let the robot run regularly and empty the tray regularly, this should be fine. If you let things get messy or are using the robot as an first pass clean after a particularly messy event, like recent move, party, etc - you'll need to pay additional attention to service the tray as it goes along.

This is my fourth ecovac, and I have to say this is my favorite. It does a great job of navigating the house, and transitioning from carpet to hardwood. I use the bristle attachment on my hardwood and have no issues picking up the dog hair and dust throughout the house. I have had the r98, n72, m80, m82 and now this one. The ozmo has done the best job of mopping as well as keeping the house clean from dog hair. Before even with the other vaccums occasionally I would need to sweep around the house. By running this every day, I have not seen any dog hair and my floors are spotless! If you want a great vaccum at the right price buy this!

DEEBOT Ozmo 930: AI 4 Clean Sweep The Quick Start Guide is a good summary of the Manual's content; but, it's wisest to set aside the time to process the instructions: For instance, you are not supposed to put the Deebot in the charger BEFORE turning it on. The main manual also asks that all packing materials be removed because some bits and pieces may lie beneath some people's awareness. I have an Android phone and easily found then downloaded the FREE Deebot Ozmo 930 App via Google Play. What I did not like is the App's Agreement. The App want's access to the consumer's location and smart phone data and, with all the mishandling lately of consumer data, I don't like allowing that access. I hope Customer Service registers my concern and/or affords me a work around. A welcome improvement to the App would be the addition of Push Notification; so, if the vacuum encounters a fault, the owner would get an alert without having to open the App. I do like the vacuum's housing. The unit has a heft and weight that promises durability, especially necessary for a household tool that is likely to encounter some bumps and grinds. I learned that the vacuum can map only one level at a time. So, if you move it to another floor, you must reboot to allow new boundaries to be defined. Even before moving my rugs with fringe, my puddling curtains and my cables to prevent entanglement, I realized that a person without wide open expanses of flooring would be unable to schedule a vacuuming without being present to do the prep required. Moreover, when I tried to use my banking app, I couldn't. Found the Deebot's wifi doesn't allow me to do other work using my wifi. Of course, I can use my smartphone because the default access to my service provider kicks in. Unfortunately, I had to call Customer Service multiple times to let them know that I couldn't access the app via the Deebot's Network Set Up process on my phone. The first two times their system dropped my call. On the third call, I got a voice mail. After 3 hours, I am still waiting for a call back or an email. After troubleshooting Login to the App, I should be able to schedule cleanings and make real time adjustments to my vacuum's status and its map. Nonetheless, even though I couldn't access the app on my phone to try to map my 1st floor level territory to be vacuumed, I hit Auto and it announced it would start cleaning. Deebot requires help to transit over 1/2" high thresholds dividing the carpet area from the wooden floors and the tiled floors; but, overall, the robot navigates pretty well finding its way around and under my furnishings. It does try to disengage if obstacles block its movement. BTW, Deebot announced when it was low on energy and was heading back to the charging station. It advanced for 3 ft, whirled in different directions then shut down, never making it back to its destination to get charged up. I carried it back. Remember, that due to the size of the dirt bin, a regular dumping must be accomplished. As well, the robot touts that it can vacuum carpet and wash down ceramic, tile and linoleum floors; but, remember, when you use the machine, you must clean the machine: bang out the filter, empty the dust bin and/or empty any remaining liquid. There is a chart that indicates timing for parts replacement; so, you can install calendar alerts in your Outlook, etc You would also want to install an alert for the ONE YEAR WARRANTY end date. Overall, since the 930's price point has been greatly reduced from over $1000 with its introduction to Canada and the US, it's a worthwhile investment if you want a more regular clean sweep than you can do yourself in light of a hectic schedule. Bottom-line, wide open spaces that don't require removal of fringed rugs, electrical cords and coaxial cables would be the best fit unless closer supervision is OK.

This vacuum is great. Setup was easy, just install the app and the wizard will guide you through the rest. Setup is no different than any other smart home product. It did a pretty good job of navigating through my house. I mostly have hardwood floors and they were cleaned properly. I also tried it in one of my bedrooms that had carper and it did a great job of cleaning. One thing to note is I had to stop it a couple times because it caught wires while vacuuming, so make sure all loose wires a secured. The app was also very cool, it was easy to use and you can see were the vacuum was on the map. The only problem I have is that I live in a 2 story house, so I don't think I would be able to bring it downstairs to vacuum because it will never find the base charger when it is done, but that is only a minor issue.

For some reason I wasn't expecting a device this small to clean as well as a full sized vacuum cleaner. After using it for a week I have changed my mind. Here are a few things that are worth sharing about this robotic vaccum. Let's start with the fun. Since getting this vacuum, the whole family has participated in cleaning. The boys have cleared the floors and removed cords in all the rooms in the house, and have been moving the vacuum from room to room like it was a game. It has been a lot of fun watching the app map the room as the vacuum methodically analyzes and cleans the room. More important than the fun is the quality of cleaning. Because of its size the robot can easily go underneath beds and dressers and clean areas that are nearly impossible to do with a regular vacuum. The proof that it cleans can be found when you clean the dirt / dust tray. After doing just a small bedroom, the tray is full of dust. The robot is also effective. When it first started in our living room I thought for sure it would get stuck or confused. For a while it sure looked like it was confused and looked like it was going to get stuck, however, it always figured out where it needed to go and never missed a portion of the room. It is very methodical and thorough, and the robot has enough weight for the brushes to be effective and enough suction to extract the dirt. Part of the reason it cleans so well is because it moves across the surface evenly and doesn't miss small areas. With a regular vacuum I often find myself hurrying and not cleaning all parts equally. I haven't had a chance to use the mopping function yet but plan to try it out on my hardwood floors this weekend. Finally, I would point out that the app is fairly easy to install and use. Once it maps out a room you can then use the app to specify which areas to clean and which to ignore. This is a great function if you keep the robot in one location. Since we keep moving from room to room we haven't had a need to use this. I would say that even without the app it does a good job using the "auto" button. Overall, the vacuum has been better than my expectations and would gladly recommend to a friend.

I love this. I was going to buy one, but luckily the Insider network reads my mind. Easy setup, all you have to do is find a good place for the charger, pop in the bristles on the bottom, download app, turn on Robot and connect to WiFi. The first run will get the layout of pretty much the whole house or area you want cleaned. Positive: I have that high carpet, but it's suction is good enough to pick up crumbs and Feline Pine pellets of the carpet and leave those oh so nice vacuum lines throughout the house. It has a mop function but I don't feel I'd use it since I rather use steam mops for my hard surface floors but it seems like it'd be useful. The app allows me to schedule cleanings, so I have it setup to clean an hour before I get off work, so I'm greeted by beautiful vacuum lines. Comes with replacement filters Nice auto suspension to change off surfaces seamlessly Negatives: The navigation sensor is a little tall so it can't go under my bed to clean, but it's not really a negative I suppose. When discovering a new obstacle, it kinda runs into it hard, but when it has it in it's database, it's less of an issue. My cat wants to attack the bristles when it's on the charger, so I may have to replace those sooner than later. Overall: 9.7/10 mostly for the navigation sensor height and maybe price.

PROS: -Good suction and mopping -Great looking -Killer app and smarts CONS: -Sometimes doesn't dock properly -Cleaning pad covers some sensors needed for mapping -Map sometimes gets randomly deleted. DESIGN: The Deebot Ozmo 930 is a great looking little bot. The body is all plastic, but the finish makes it look on par with many high-end vacuuming robots. The robot has a ton of sensors around the bottom of the bot and on the front, which helps guide it when cleaning. On top is the Smart Navi disk that it uses to produce a 2D floor map. Included in the box is the pad attachment that clicks on and off the bottom when using the mopping feature. This blocks some of the sensors needed to produce a floor map, which was a little frustrating so you will have to keep this off for at least the first cleaning cycle. The dirt bin is smaller than I would like but the bot seems to do a good job of stuffing it full of dust and lint. The bottom has two brushes for sweeping in dust and debris along with the pick-up roller. You can also swap this for a tangle free suction only solution for hair. Additionally, since this bot does mopping duty too, it has a tank for water that sits on the back that is easy to fill and install. Lastly, the handle on top is sturdy when you must carry it and sits flush along the top panel for a clean look. CLEANING: The Deebot Ozmo 930 has many of the intelligent cleaning capabilities you would expect from a modern-day robot vacuum. I'll leave the app related features to the next section. First off, the bot does a great job of picking up dust and cleaning. Like other bots it can adjust depending on the surface increasing the suction for thicker carpet. Thanks to the mapping technology it can make a back and forth path like how a human would. I've been happy with the vacuuming capability - what is unique with the Ozmo 930 is the mopping capability. The bot comes equip with a water tank and mopping pad and it did a great job of spraying the floor and leaving little water behind. You can adjust the water spray in the app if it turns out to be too much. The mopping feature is an awesome idea that works well and means you don't need two robots for different floor types. What does this bot do differently? Keeping reading to find out. APP+SMARTS: Along with all the cleaning capabilities of the robot, the app is among the most intelligent I've seen. It offers so many features which help heavily differentiate this bot from others. The great mapping technology in this bot is what enables all these smarts. From the first time you clean the Deebot Ozmo 930 begins producing a floor map which it retains. From the app you can see the map being created as it cleans. This is cool, but the selling points comes with what you can do with that map. You may have noticed that I've not discussed any barriers or wall accessories used to keep the bot out of certain areas. That's because the Ozmo 930 doesn't need any - from the map you are able to draw out your own virtual boundaries eliminating the need for extra hardware. The downside to this of course it that you need to let the bot run at least once before setting them up. Next, by taking the map data the Ozmo 930 can divide the map into rooms - you can later go in and names these. Did you make a mess in the kitchen - you can hop in the app to tell the bot to only clean that room. You wouldn't vacuum your whole house if only the kitchen needed it right? Well, not the bot will do that too! You can also select custom areas to clean as well. The app does all the cool basic things as well like seeing the status, start/stop clean, and errors if the bot gets tangled. My only complaint with the app is since I live in the United States I would love to have square feet instead of meters - a small ask that could easily be addressed in an app updated. SUMMARY: This feature filled bot pulls many high-end capabilities down to a great price point. With a bunch of unique smarts and the double duty vacuuming and mopping capability this bot is perfect for anybody looking to make the jump with a product that is as comprehensive as they come.

Initial setup was a little hard in the beginning, especially because its connection to Wi-Fi works only over 2.4 Ghz but once I passed that, it was very easy. As long as the room is not cluttered, the Ecovacs Roboticss Deebot Ozmo 930 will clean any room. It seamlessly transitioned from cleaning a hardwood floor and a rug in the living rooms to a tiled surface in the kitchen and then to a carpet in my office. I had seen another robotic device do something similar but not as well. Still, you need to make sure that there won't be too many obstacles. Be aware of things such as USB cords, especially the type you use to charge your phone because this type of device will choke with them if they find one on the floor. That is the most common problem I've encountered. If you have kids, keeping the area clutter free will be a challenge. I did find some dirt spots due to clutter around but it mostly did a good job. Scheduling using the app on an iPhone was very easy. The map that the Ozmo 930 creates is very useful and is what ensures your house to be thoroughly cleaned. Having the ability to turn it on and monitor its progress from anywhere you have internet is amazing. I like that it will return to the charging dock when needed so it can power up again and pick up from where it left off before the battery ran out. What I liked the most was that it not only can remove dry dirt but it can also mop the floor. It is a much better solution that having different robots for each function. My recommendation is that before the first time you use this, you should clean the house with a big vacuum cleaner and mop. From then on, just schedule it for daily use. The reason is that the dirt collector is sized only for relatively small amount of dirt which is not a problem if the Ozmo 930 cleans the area every so often. In summary, this product does a very good job of maintaining your house clean, provided it is done frequently and you have s clutter-free household

Despite some inconsistencies, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930 is the pace car for all other robotic vacuums. First, the setup was very easy. Eventhough the quick start directions are vague, they aren't really needed to get you up and running. All you really need to do is snap on a couple pieces that are easy to determine where they go, place the vacuum on its charger base, turn it on, and download the app. The instructions give you specific dimensions that it says you need to have clear around the dock, but it appears they are exaggerated a bit as the Vacuum is very good at finding its home. For the first use, pick up debris in the area of the house the vacuum will be navigating and make sure that there is a clear path everywhere the vacuum needs to go. Also open any doors to any room so that the vacuum can map the house, which will be very helpful for future use. After the first use, you will see a very detailed map of your house in the app, which even divides the map into sections by room, which you can custom name (i.e. Kitchen, Master Bedroom, etc). This is especially handy because you can then select a room you want Deebot ti clean in the app and it will head straight there. The live view in the app of where the vacuum has cleaned and is currently located Is pretty neat too. The cleaning ability, as a vacuum, is VERY impressive. Even in rooms recently vacuumed by my name brand full size vacuum the Deebot is able to pull out filth from what I thought was a clean room. The mopping function works ok, but I think could use some improvement. Not much water is used by the vacuum, which would be nice, if it was enough. I also wish that they would have implemented oscillating scrubbers into this vacuum for a more thorough mopping, but overall it does a good job. The downsides to this vacuum is that it is a little temperamental. On occassion it will have issues with an area rug (not shaggy) and give a fault code for needing its drop sensors cleaned. They don't need cleaned, the vacuum just got stuck on the transition from wood to rug. But when you lift the vacuum to correct the error, the whole map is lost and you need to do it all over. If the vacuum wouldn't get amnesia every time it was lifted off the ground, I would give this vacuum 5 stars and immediately buy another for family members to use and enjoy all of the cool features. Hopefully this is correctable in a firmware update, and if so, I will sing Ecovacs praises to anyone within earshot. Overall, this vacuum is great in theory, very good in practice with great suction, and with a couple programming tweaks potentially the ALPHA of home robotics and automation. Yes, you need one.

I've been an avid fan of robotic vacuums for a long time, having started with one of the earliest Roombas and upgraded every few generations from there. And for a long time no matter what manufacturer you went with, the basic premise behind how they work has stayed the same. The robot will keep moving until it hits something, then turn around and go off in a random direction from there. Eventually, it covers the entirety of your floor. The most recent designs from several manufacturers have been starting to change that though. While random navigation worked well enough, it was slow and meant that you tended to get uneven coverage over the floor. Now, people are starting to use advances in tracking technology to create robots that can intelligently map out and navigate through their surroundings. The Deebot Ozmo 930 (or Ozmo, as I've named mine) does this using a LIDAR system on the top of its standard hockey puck shaped body to help it build a complete map of the area you want it to clean so that it goes over every area twice using the same kind of pattern you'd use yourself with an upright. And if that isn't enough, it also features the ability to tell what kind of floor it's on and use a wet mop to clean it. With all that it seems like it would be the perfect robotic vacuum. Unfortunately, I've to say that while I do like the product overall, it's got a lot of rough edges that keep it from being everything that it's advertised to be. To start with the good, the mapping system does mostly work. It constructs a very detailed map (which you can see on the Ecovacs app) which you can use to designate where it should and shouldn't clean as well as setting up a schedule that allows it to tackle large areas in several attempts rather than running out of battery half way through. What's even better is that the robot is very good at updating the map to account for minor changes to the positioning of certain landmarks such as chairs or pets. The only problem here is that while the map works great, I can't really give it full marks because of one serious flaw in the design. Whenever the robot becomes confused about its location (which seems to happen whenever I go to clean the brushes) it'll happily delete the map, along with any instructions you've given about where not to clean, what certain areas are called, or what schedule it should use to clean those areas. Next, we have the cleaning performance. The Ozmo has two vacuuming options: a standard beater brush and a direct suction mode intended for homes where hair can be a problem. Since I live in a home with two pets and a long-haired woman and have had brushes literally shredded by tightly wound hair before, I started out with the direct suction option which the instructions said were best for daily cleaning. It worked well enough in that it didn't produce any tangles. But as anyone who's used these vacuums can tell you, there's a world of difference between the suction that you can get with an upright and the suction you can get in a tiny robot. Overall I found that the direct suction wasn't very good at picking up hair or much else. Switching to the brush produced far better cleaning performance, and it would generally fill up the bin and leave the floors looking visibly cleaner. The mop was a little harder to judge. Admittedly I don't have a ton of hard floors that need wet mopping in my environment, but my kitchen floors are usually always in need of some attention. On the default setting it didn't do much at all, but when I raised the water output to high it did a decent job of picking up small messes. Only thing I really noticed here was that it's best to run through multiple cycles, as it takes a little while for the robot to dispense enough water to the cleaning pad to do anything. Finally, there's the overall build. I'm mostly happy with this except for one thing: the height. For whatever reason, this robot sits a little higher off the ground than most, which makes it adept at climbing on top of things. At one point it managed to climb on top of a plate and rode around the living room on top of it, thinking that it was cleaning a ceramic tile floor. It's far from the only robot that can do things like this, but it's worth mentioning as you'll want to watch out for it. It's also unfortunately quite easy for the robot to become stuck on its own charging base if it moves too far forward for some reason, in which case it'll simply spin its little wheels trying to disengage until eventually giving up. There are a few other features that I'ven't been able to try out yet, such as the integration with Alexa and Google Home which is apparently coming in an upcoming software update. Hopefully that update will also address the map issue and give it a warm-up period for the wet mop to help it do a better job on its first pass. But I'm anticipating liking them if the implementation is in line with the rest of the features. Overall, my impression of the vacuum is positive. It's quieter and faster than any of the previous models I've owned, and its cleaning performance is satisfactory. But I think that a lot of the most ambitious features such as the smart navigation and wet mopping might take a few more tries to perfect. It's more a glimpse of where the tech is going rather than a fully functional example of it. Just understand that you'll still need to provide some oversight to keep it running at its best, and you should find that it greatly cuts down on the amount of day to day cleaning you need to do!
