Before making a purchase I shopped around extensively. I came across this model because it off also offered the mopping feature, and even though I haven’t mopped with it, I’m pretty content. It does a great job adjusting to all the different floor types in our house.

This product has performed as I had hoped and expected so far. There has been only one flaw that I can tell so far and that is going from hard floor to carpet. I thought that it would transition better and it still has difficulty at time...

I bought 4..2 for my city house, 2 for lake house. Great idea...but after a year, not working so great. I guess I need to hire a house cleaner again.

Almost 2 years and died… I had the warranty plan, BB refund what I paid in a Gift Card…. Used to buy the next generation Deebot

Do NOT buy Ecovacs products the customer service is the worst!!! The robot works fine for a short time and then runs around crazy and repeatedly runs into things and hits it so many times things fall off or break. It's too much money spent to not have them stand behind their products.

I picked this vacuum up as it has a lot of features including a mopping system. The lidar mapping system is really cool as well and does somewhat better than cameras in some of the reviews I've read. Unfortunately this vacuum only connects to 2.4 gigahertz wireless networks, which made my connecting experience a challenge. I would only recommend this to a user with a 2.4 gigahertz wireless network or someone that wants to switch between the two from time to time. I returned this for a Roomba.

Received this item with much anticipation. However, I was disappointed with the mopping feature. It doesn’t quite map out your home well and may I add, that it doesn’t do a good job at cleaning the floor. After running it on mop mode several times it still doesn’t clean as well as I thought it would. On the other hand, the vacuum mode does a great job. With that said, if your looking for a good robot that mops well, sadly this one won’t do.

This device does it all. Love it. Wish you could use cleaner to get your floors, but it does not get them wet enough to matter. The vacuum is amazing and you don't have to do anything after its programmed.

I like the vacuum, when it worked. Had it for about a year and loved it then one day it started throwing an LDS error. I cleaned the entire unit and it worked. Next time it went to start had the same error cleaned it again, wasnt bad this time and did nothing. Still had the same error code making it completely useless. Actually took it back 02/14/2021 and got a full refund. I would not recommend this vacuum.

This is a fun household item. I use it once or twice a week especially in the fall, winter and especially the sprint time! It also washes the floor vs. just sweeping

The 930 picks up so much dirt and hair that I am amazed. I still have trouble getting it started with my iPhone but the cleaning abilities are great. I would highly recommend this product.

Probably a decent mop vac if you can ever get it connected to the app. I switched my WiFi to 2g per the instructions, but the app never verified ever connecting to the mop vac. I ended up returning it. The newer models with 5g capability may work better, I’m going to hold on purchasing one of those until later.

It has great suction but is all over the place! Some spots get missed and others are cleaned over and over again.

We use this robot on the 2nd floor, and it's great. Set up for daily cleanings, its a no brainer for everybody. We also have kids with allergies so this was great.

I’ve been an avid fan of robotic vacuums for a long time, having started with one of the earliest Roombas and upgraded every few generations from there. And for a long time no matter what manufacturer you went with, the basic premise behind how they work has stayed the same. The robot will keep moving until it hits something, then turn around and go off in a random direction from there. Eventually, it covers the entirety of your floor. The most recent designs from several manufacturers have been starting to change that though. While random navigation worked well enough, it was slow and meant that you tended to get uneven coverage over the floor. Now, people are starting to use advances in tracking technology to create robots that can intelligently map out and navigate through their surroundings. The Deebot Ozmo 930 (or Ozmo, as I’ve named mine) does this using a LIDAR system on the top of its standard hockey puck shaped body to help it build a complete map of the area you want it to clean so that it goes over every area twice using the same kind of pattern you’d use yourself with an upright. And if that isn’t enough, it also features the ability to tell what kind of floor it’s on and use a wet mop to clean it. With all that it seems like it would be the perfect robotic vacuum. Unfortunately, I have to say that while I do like the product overall, it’s got a lot of rough edges that keep it from being everything that it’s advertised to be. To start with the good, the mapping system does mostly work. It constructs a very detailed map (which you can see on the Ecovacs app) which you can use to designate where it should and shouldn’t clean as well as setting up a schedule that allows it to tackle large areas in several attempts rather than running out of battery half way through. What’s even better is that the robot is very good at updating the map to account for minor changes to the positioning of certain landmarks such as chairs or pets. The only problem here is that while the map works great, I can’t really give it full marks because of one serious flaw in the design. Whenever the robot becomes confused about its location (which seems to happen whenever I go to clean the brushes) it will happily delete the map, along with any instructions you’ve given about where not to clean, what certain areas are called, or what schedule it should use to clean those areas. Next, we have the cleaning performance. The Ozmo has two vacuuming options: a standard beater brush and a direct suction mode intended for homes where hair can be a problem. Since I live in a home with two pets and a long-haired woman and have had brushes literally shredded by tightly wound hair before, I started out with the direct suction option which the instructions said were best for daily cleaning. It worked well enough in that it didn’t produce any tangles. But as anyone who’s used these vacuums can tell you, there’s a world of difference between the suction that you can get with an upright and the suction you can get in a tiny robot. Overall I found that the direct suction wasn’t very good at picking up hair or much else. Switching to the brush produced far better cleaning performance, and it would generally fill up the bin and leave the floors looking visibly cleaner. The mop was a little harder to judge. Admittedly I don’t have a ton of hard floors that need wet mopping in my environment, but my kitchen floors are usually always in need of some attention. On the default setting it didn’t do much at all, but when I raised the water output to high it did a decent job of picking up small messes. Only thing I really noticed here was that it’s best to run through multiple cycles, as it takes a little while for the robot to dispense enough water to the cleaning pad to do anything. Finally, there’s the overall build. I’m mostly happy with this except for one thing: the height. For whatever reason, this robot sits a little higher off the ground than most, which makes it adept at climbing on top of things. At one point it managed to climb on top of a plate and rode around the living room on top of it, thinking that it was cleaning a ceramic tile floor. It’s far from the only robot that can do things like this, but it’s worth mentioning as you’ll want to watch out for it. It’s also unfortunately quite easy for the robot to become stuck on its own charging base if it moves too far forward for some reason, in which case it’ll simply spin its little wheels trying to disengage until eventually giving up. There are a few other features that I haven’t been able to try out yet, such as the integration with Alexa and Google Home which is apparently coming in an upcoming software update. Hopefully that update will also address the map issue and give it a warm-up period for the wet mop to help it do a better job on its first pass. But I’m anticipating liking them if the implementation is in line with the rest of the features. Overall, my impression of the vacuum is positive. It’s quieter and faster than any of the previous models I’ve owned, and its cleaning performance is satisfactory. But I think that a lot of the most ambitious features such as the smart navigation and wet mopping might take a few more tries to perfect. It’s more a glimpse of where the tech is going rather than a fully functional example of it. Just understand that you’ll still need to provide some oversight to keep it running at its best, and you should find that it greatly cuts down on the amount of day to day cleaning you need to do!

Map not completely right but its really close. I bought because of my wife , she was skeptical until she saw how great it cleaned. She said she wanted it to clean everyday.

If you’ve been holding off buying a robot vacuum, congratulations. The Ozmo 930 was worth waiting for. The app connected from our Android phone to the robot immediately. After completion, we let the robot start and it was fascinating watching it paint a ‘map’ of our downstairs area on the app. It immediately figured out which area had bare floors and which had carpet and showed it on the ‘map.’ (When it cleans a room with a carpeted and uncarpeted area, it cleans each one separately, changing to a higher speed when it vacuums the carpet. If you like, it has water jets to spray its microfiber pad when doing the bare floor). It vacuums in perfectly straight lines, not haphazardly like some others, and if you’re on a different floor, you can watch its path on the map in real time on the app. If you want it to skip certain areas of the room, such as maybe a Christmas tree, you use the app to specify the boundary. I have friends who have older robot vacuums, and it seems like they’re always ‘babysitting’ them, getting them unstuck from chairs, low cabinets, etc. It seems to me that misses the point of a ‘robot.’ If you’re constantly having to help it out, you might as well just do it yourself. The Ozmo is incredibly smart in getting free from obstacles, slowing down before hitting them. Its battery management is very smart. When it realizes that the battery level is low, it will automatically head back to its charger. After charging it will go back and clean the areas that it missed. When it’s finished it’s easier to empty than most others. We didn’t try it but you can use Alexa or Google Home to command the vacuum as well as the app. Finally it’s much quieter than any other vacuum of its type I’ve seen. In my neighbor’s house when the robot came out, the TV volume would have to be raised. We didn’t need to do that with ours (Our neighbors were very jealous when they watched our Ozmo work.) Bottom line, the Ozmo 930 is not cheap. But if you can afford it, it’s certainly worth the extra bucks, and as I said, it usually will take care of its chores without requiring any assistance from you at all.

Not good vacuum if you have dogs! Hair get caught in the wheels and very difficult to get out.

I will always recommend Dee bot their mapping tech is amazing I used other services but the laser mapping is the best great vacume

Very easy to use and my floors look fantastic! The only thing I don’t like is the water container isn’t always easy to put back on and it’s frustrating.
