Best purchase we ever made. Fair warning if you have dark carpets or rugs the vacuum has a mental breakdown and won’t vacuum the area because it thinks it’ll fall off a cliff or something. We had to buy a new rug but I still have no regrets especially as a pet owner. My house has never been cleaner!

Only a few weeks in but happy with it. Picks up well but on occasion misses some debris against wall. Scheduling feature is helpful.

Deebot works great, the Chinese government accurately maps your home, and is able to go to whatever room you choose, and cleans at the same time. Also a great tool for spying on your S/O because it has a remote control function.

A help for my house cleaning but a little stupid always hit the furniture and destroy the base of my chairs

I haven't tried all the functions yet. It gets a 4 start because I'm having an issue with the lift sensor getting dirty.

This thing cleans like a dream! I was truly impressed with how much dust it sucked up...until it completed its initial cycle. The robot stated the cleaning was complete, and it was returning to charge. This thing made it right in front of the dock, turned a couple of times, backed up...and drove away. Cue an hour of me cancelling the recharge cycle and restarting it numerous times, following it to the other side of my apartment to see what in the name of all that is holy this thing is doing. Finally, I gave up and set it on the charger myself. STILL refused to charge. Became stuck in this strange mode where the LED was solid red and just made this low, constant churning noise. Pressed the reset button! Yes, that’ll work, right? Wrong. Made the lovely startup tune, aaaaaaaaand it went right back to paperweight mode. Turned it off and put it back in the box. Needless to say, I’m disappointed. I was so excited to receive this robot! It will be painful to return this and have to continue my search.

Love the vacuum. It does pick up after my Pomsky who sheds a sweater daily. This is my second Deebot and I like that this one mops at the same time. Just wish it would travel over carpet to mop master bathroom.

Love the ease of setup and how well It does vacuuming.

Love the security cam feature. I use it to monitor my barely occupied house. With the new accessories auto Empty bin is what make this even better. Bit pricy but still cheaper than the s9+ Combined. So far very happy with the purchase

It sweeps really well. We use it to keep up with sweeping and mopping daily. The mop feature is nice but can be kinda patchy. Overall a great robot vacuum! Especially like the automatic timing features and room selection.

The only complaint would be having to pick up our rugs before vacuuming/mopping.

We love this product, it was easy to set up on the app. Mine is set to go every other day and it has been so wonderful to have one thing off my plate. I put the mop plate on every Sunday and it does ok.

We have had this product for almost two weeks and we are blown away!! Amazing and by far the best product. Deep cleans and mops and stays on schedule to keep our house clean at all times. I highly recommend this product.

Had to run 10 times before a map was correctly created. Must manually clean sensors after each run, or the robot will go in circles on the next run. Haven't run in a few months due to frustration, maybe there are updates that will fix these issues.

Disappointing. Does not handle well long dog hair. Too many map bug forcing you to remap the whole place. Very annoying. More hassle than usefulness for me.

I had heard some amazing thing about the DeeBot and boy did it live up to the hype. If I had the opportunity to go back to when I went shopping for the robot I would definitely pick it again.

Great vaccum that allows you to focus your time on other things instead of vacuuming. The app is easy to navigate to create a schedule. The vaccum doesn’t crash into items which is great

Unpacking, inserting the brushes, downloading the app and testing it took less than 10 minutes. The app is easy to use and intuitive for the most part. Having owned a few different brands and models, I have a lot to compare. That includes the previous Ecovacs Deebot 960, which is not even close to being as good as the Deebot T8. The reason being that the T8 has four different modes. Quiet, which is recommended only for mopping or if you are trying to take a nap while it does its job. Be warned that it is not very efficient for vacuuming in that mode. Standard, which does a good job if you have it vacuum daily. Max, which will do well if you only vacuum once or twice a week. And, Max+, which will vacuum almost anything but you’d better not be in the house or have something to protect your ears because it is very loud in that mode. Even in Standard mode, it did a very good job in my living room and in my office. The living room is wood and the office is carpet. In both cases, it surprised me because I never thought it would do a better job than another brand I own but it did. Another reason for being so efficient is that it comes with a built-in camera that can recognize objects to avoid. Despite that, though, it still goes over cables and shoe laces. That can cause it to choke. A common issue with all vacuuming robots. Fortunately, it seems to happen a lot less than the previous model and even some other brands I’ve tried. I still wish it could recognize objects that have the potential of chocking it. Still, no other similar robot does that yet, so I will not take this against it. I was also surprised that it created a map of the house the first time it ran. Previously, it would take many cleaning cycles before you could see the map. Fortunately, this was not an issue with the new T8 and app. My only disappointment is that it does not come with self-emptying bin. I really believe that ALL vacuuming robots should have one. Of course, it would cost more but I think it is really worth it. Also, it does not support 5 Ghz WiFi but that is not a problem for most users. All the good things above is about the vacuuming function. Mopping is not horrible but I still do not like any robotic mopping yet. They can only do a so-so job and that is if you mop frequently. It is good to have, especially as a bonus but I am more satisfied with the vacuuming capability. If you used the previous model, you will notice that the moping pad is smaller on this one but it still performed just about the same as the previous model. A very cool feature is the video butler. I believe there is very practical use for it, especially because the camera is blocked when it is on the charging doc, so you can’t really use it as a security camera but you can take pictures as well as see live video from wherever you are. I like it, especially because I can see it doing its job even when I am away from home. As a side comment, I’ll never understand why these robotic vacuum devices need to go all over the house and then go back to the same rooms they were at before. With a built-in camera, I would have hoped the T8 could check their own job, finish it adequately and not need to go back to the same spots until next cleaning cycle some other time. I wonder if a software update could fix that. I am convinced that it already is the most advanced vacuuming robot out there but this would put it well ahead of the game. Overall, I was impressed of how well it performed. Compared to other brands, I was not impressed with the 960 but now I think those brands have a real tough contender with the T8.

The vacuum works pretty good at first but then issues started to show up. The app would lose maps and you would have to remap the house over again. It would get stuck when trying to go around the rug and I have sent it in for issues with a jammed bumper. Recently the main motor/gears have failed and now just makes a horrible noise and is basically a brick now. $700 of drama and would not recommend buying. Good luck!

So far this is working great. It’s had a tiny bit of trouble with a cord last night. I think it’s very quiet and well made. Looking forward to years with this machine!
