Excellent cleaning robot! I haven't had any issues with it since I brought it in 2022. The maintenance is super easy. It keeps the hardwood nice and shiny.

    Decent Vacuum --Poor Costumer Service/Warranty

I purchased a new OMNI X1. It does a pretty decent job for a robot vacuum. Good battery life, decent cleaning. I don't find it particularly taxing having to manually put on the mopping pads, and personally I like having the option to remove them so there is no chance of wetting carpet during cleaning. The Issues: Why I can't give it more than 3 stars: 1. Reliability, I'm on my third Robot, via "warranty." 2. The warranty/Customer service -- 6 months after buying my X1, the water pumps stopped working in the station. Ecovacs responded promptly to my emails and executed warranty service rather quickly, I was initially impressed. However, Ecovacs answer is to immediately send you a refurbished bot... The refurbished bots come with a 3-month warranty, my new one had a 12-month warranty, so basic math, I just lost 3-months of warranty... Warranty that I would need. The first refurbished bot they sent me was terrible. I couldn't navigate properly at all, it got stuck on its own station, and the battery was terrible. I was not happy. I wrote back to Ecovacs to execute warranty service again, requesting they replace my original NEW X1 that I purchased with a NEW X1, as the warranty allows for... it only seemed fair. They ignored me and sent me another refurbished one. This one works a little bit better, but it squeaks constantly, like an wet rubber boot. It's really annoying so I only run it when I can't hear it. I decided to keep this one because I was tired of repackaging and hauling the system to UPS, and it was clear they weren't going to send me a proper replacement. I wont purchase Ecovacs in the future, purely because the customer service/warranty is unfair in my opinion.

    Cleans well but requires work

It cleans well when using the turbo max vacuum, but thats pretty much it. I wouldnt even use the others unless you just have hard floors. I have both carpet and hard floors. Its nice that when it detects carpet, itll go into turbo mode automatically. BUT, it uses ALOT of battery and it wont finish my house before having to recharge. Which takes hours to do. The mopping feature is neat. The only thing i dont like about this is that i have to attach the pads for it to mop. Theres a vacuum that will turn off the mopping feature and vacuum only without you having to do anything. That would be a nice feature. But other then that, its a really nice vacuum. Now, if you have more carpet, id get the cheaper one and just use a swiffer. Its a big expense to always have to put pads on and off just to mop with.

Great mope and vacuum robot. I only wish it had better way of automatically switching modes. It won't vacuum carpets if the mop brushes are attached so as to not wet the carpet. On the surface, it makes sense, just wish I didn't have to run it twice, once to vacuum carpets...then attach the mop and run it again. Otherwise, it cleans VERY well. Floor is left pretty spotless and the vacuum is pretty powerful.

I felt like I needed to review this, to help boost what this product is. It seems lots of purchasers for this product believe it is a robotic maid from the Jetsens It is not that! No would should ever purchase this with that in mind!!! HOWEVER, it is a phenomenal piece of technology that is SO fun to use. We have it on our main floor with no rugs. We simply put up our table chairs up, to make it easier, however that is not necessary, as this is incredibly adept at navigating around furniture. Our floor is ALWAYS shining now, and it does what it is advertised to do! There are occasions where we need to spot clean, but that is not a huge problem. We used this during the winter months in Utah, where TONS of salt would get tracked into our home. We never saw salt spots on that floor, and emptying the used water reservoir was enlightening to see how filthy the floor was, even when we thought it was clean. As long as you follow the notifications on the app to clean and maintain the product, it will work! I promise!

This unit has a decent vacuum, but the mops lack adequate cleaning power. It also seems to get confused, and I’ve reset it several times without success. It just returns to its base. Also, the battery life has noticeably diminished after only one year of use. I’ve had several robot vacuums in the past from different manufacturers, and had high hopes for this one, which unfortunately ended in disappointment.

Best Combo Vac/Mop I’ve Ever Seen!

This robo-vacuum and mop is my first and only of such a thing, and boy howdy does it clean thoroughly! I have a multi cat household (> 12-15 cats) who are always leaving nibbles of food, cat litter and hair all over my hardwood floors…Yiko (as she’s called) comes right out and fixes those problems so I don’t have to worry about them! Would recommend purchasing extra mop heads as you’ll need them (if you’re a twice a day cleaner as I am). Best product combo for the price! But cats can’t ride on it, too bad, but they do get excited when she comes out to clean! And the video recorder on the front of the unit is hilarious sometimes - you can view and control everything from your iPhone - a big hands-off bonus in my mind, so easy! Hard to think of how this product could be improved.

I love this robot. I have no carpet, so I have it in vacuum and mop mode 100% of the time. It does an excellent job. I have a Corgi, and it even manages to pick up Corgi's hair. This Corgi is also a puppy and has poop accidents on occasion. This robot has done a great job identifying accidents and avoiding the poop smear issue many bots have. I bought the Ecovacs cleaning solution, and the difference is also noticeable. This thing is expensive, but having had a few other robots, I find it is well worth it. My only problem was voice commands and remembering that its name for voice commands is "Yiko." It took a while to remember that. And sometimes the TV or other noise makes the robot think I called it, but it's never acted on command on accident.

ECOVACS Robot Vacuum – 3-Year User Review

I’ve been using my ECOVACS robot vacuum for 3 years, and overall it’s been reliable and helpful for everyday cleaning. The app control is handy, and it does a good job on both hard floors and carpets. After long-term use, a few things stand out: the water system sometimes gets clogged and needs manual cleaning, and it still struggles with corners. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely saved me a lot of time over the years.

VERY good product, sweeps as advertised. The app is also very easy to setup/use and the robot is smart enough to avoid anything got in the way. The app allows you to watch real time video seen by the robot while it is working, I was able to use it as a part of security system at home while I was working. The process of adding water/dump dirty water was all automatic and it drys the pads itself too. I love the robot. However, the robot disconnected from the wifi and stopped working twice for no reason, not sure what happened but a reset made it back to work.

The X1 is a great vacuum and mop the performance is excellent. what really sucks is that around the end of the cleaning cycle it will forget where the base station is and it will go around the house looking for it until it runs out of battery. This happens consistently around the end of its cycle. Its really strange because it goes back to the base station every couple min to clean the pads and get more water so why does it "forget" where home is randomly? I returned it and got a replacement but have the same issue. This was not a issue with their previous two generations. Either way its still a great robot even if we have to help it some times.

Forget Rumbas. This is the unit to get. Its mapping tools are much, much better, and easier to use. The mopping feature is fantastic. It knows what carpet is and what is a hard floor. This is crucial for the basic fact that you don't want it to mop a rug. The app is easy to use and functional. Ordering replacement parts is a snap. Cleaning it is also a snap. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes IMO

I replaced a relatively new Roomba S9 + and a separate Braava with this system and am so happy that I did. Having an all-in-one system has cut my cleaning time by more than a half. I love the mapping system and that it can mop and vacuum simultaneously. The scheduler works great and keeps up with our cat hair. I like that I can view where it has been and where it still has to go. I like that I can fill up the water tank, and it is enough to do my entire downstairs wood floors. I know that others don't like that you have to remove the mopping pads before doing carpet, but I trust this system better than keeping them on. The rotating mops do an excellent job. I have all wood floors downstairs with only one area rug in the living room, so this wasn't an issue for me. Ecovacs has one of the best mapping systems available for robot vacuums. I have had two other brands, and Ecovacs has the best by far. You can't go wrong with this system. My only complaint is that the voice activation system doesn't seem to work very well for me. But I rarely would use that anyway.

This is a great unit! We have hardwood in our kitchen/family room area and 2 fluffy Golden retrievers. So, a daily vacuuming is mandatory. We previously ran a vacuum only unit that self-empties and it did a great job getting under the table and chairs. That is until I got a little carried away with cleaning it and got it wet. We bought this as the replacement. First impression. It's big. Compared to the vacuum only unit, it is wider and much taller. But that definitely helps because the clean and dirty water bins are accessible from the top and their size allow for a lot of water. You don't have to fill it after ever run. From an operation perspective. It's programable on the app, has great options for the cleaning mode, it has virtual barriers and room dividers that work well. No extra accessories required. The first room scan was really quick, 15 minutes, maybe less. It has great overlapping cleaning paths and if set to 2x cleaning it conducts a crisscross pattern. I had it set to the highest cleaning setting for the first few weeks. The room is the entry way we primarily use so I wanted to see how well it cleaned. It was very thorough from a pattern perspective and went back to clean the pads, empty the dirty water, and refill before returning to the job at hand. I really like the results on the daily mopping. I have been playing with the multiple setting and am happy with the level of clean it provides with the settings I have settled on. I think it took too much time to recharge when I had it set to the highest cleaning level. Obviously, that will vary based on room size. The only negative I have for this unit compared to the vacuum only models; the robot itself is taller than the Shark and Roomba robots so it doesn't get all the way under the dining table and chairs. I believe that is where the live camera is. Yes, you can watch the vacuum clean the floor! Cool option but I don’t see an everyday use for it. Because it can’t get under some of the tables an chair there is an accumulation of dog hair sitting there when it’s done. I do recommend this for hardwood and hard surface floors, but if its pet hair you want picked up, consider the vacuum only robots on the market.

Its hard confusing and annoying at first but once you get a hang of it your start depending on it. The fact that you are away from home and you cab not only clean but also make video calls with it is one of the many jaw dropping features. Maps your house and then you can only vaccum/mop one room or many using the custom feature. It also heat dries the mop pads and I absolutely love that feature thats why i dont miss the facr it cannot Mop and vaccum simultaneously (i mean it does vaccum as it mops but then it will avoid the carpeted areas) Love the machine. Buy it and learn it and enjoy the ride :)

This is overall a very good robot vacuum. The voice commands can be finicky, but the performance is better than expected. I had a Roomba before this and this is FAR better. Its mapping is great. I have animals and have never had an incident of this guy rolling poop all over my house. The mopping doesn’t get my rugs wet. It does a good job of keeping the floors clean when I don’t have time to pay attention to them. The app is easy to use and the mapping is fairly accurate. (I have kids constantly moving things and changing its map, but it handles it well) I’m very happy with this purchase after a year of using it with it running twice a week to vacuum and mop wood floors.

We got it earlier this year and have been happy with it so far. It does a fantastic job getting the daily build up of dust/traffic and finishes with a simple mop. It does exactly what we need and we feel like we’re living a little bit better not tripping over the lil spills and dust on floor every day. For the price so far we need more years before we can say it’s excellent but so for very promising.
