The pathing is terrible for the device, the main brush constantly said it was tangled seconds after we completely cleared it, obstacle avoidance is terrible. Great idea, terrible execution.

The Mapping works great and the app is easy to use and responsive. If it’s missed any spots, I cannot tell. I have 2 dogs and hard woods floors.

My j7+ is miles ahead on its mapping and staying on task. Spins in circles constant in full mop mode. Any tips would be appreciated

Too bad as I would have love to have it work and see it run smoothly but no.

Worst Vacuum/Mop vacuum on the market!

The mapping is absolutely horrible. I have tried to map my house a dozen times... And it is not even close! It maps so bad that I can't even use the divide feature to mark off all my individual rooms. I own 2 other robot vacuum mops (half the cost) and they mapped almost flawless. The robot multiple times has got tendency stuck on cords and a hand towel. The Avoidance feature is pretty terrible.. I would highly recommend not investigating yourself money in this robots vacuum.

Excellent second hand at home

But I have had to have it replaced under warranty twice in a year. Ecovacs still has some improvements to make but if you are meticulously maintaining the robot it will be worth every penny. Skimp on maintenance because you think it’s a robot and should self care well, you just bought a really expensive problem
