    These speakers slap!

This review was written from the perspective of a music professional in desperation. Just yesterday, there was a power outage and I lost my Yamahas to a power surge (R.I.P.) despite having top of the line surge protector. Life hits you fast. This was more of a stop-gap solution until I could afford to replace my $1000 studio monitors. Let me tell you... I am so satisfied with these that I may just pocket the savings and invest in more in plugins. These are some bangers for the price. Nice flat response for mastering tracks but feature dials on the speaker that control bass and treble frequencies. For chillin and listening to music, I keep my treble dial turned to the lowest setting and my bass to a touch less than mid, and I took off the included covers (they mud up the sound a bit, IMO). I am impressed so far. For $100 bucks, these speakers slap!

Wow, these are probably the best $100 speakers money can buy. They have Insane sound fidelity, bass is powerful, there's a remote, and most importantly, they look so good. It was worth the hour and a half drive to pick these up. Edifier, well done, pick these up you will NOT regret it.

The Edifier R1280T bookshelf speakers offer an impressive audio experience at a budget-friendly price point. Here's why these speakers are a solid choice for those seeking good sound without breaking the bank. Firstly, the design is simple yet elegant, blending well with various room aesthetics. The wood grain finish adds a touch of warmth, making them visually appealing. Setting up the speakers is straightforward, and the included remote control adds convenience, allowing easy adjustments from across the room. Sound quality is where the R1280T truly shines. The speakers deliver clear and well-balanced audio across different genres. The bass response is surprisingly robust for speakers of this size, providing a satisfying low-end without being overpowering. The inclusion of dual RCA inputs is a nice touch, allowing users to connect multiple audio sources simultaneously.

Movers broke my speaker set up so I grabbed these. I enjoy my edifier headphones so I thought why not try out their bookshelf speakers. They works great and sound pretty decent for their price range. Definitely some good value.

I got these speakers to connect with a new record player. These speakers were super easy to set up, they do have a great physical power switch on the back, but also has a remote to control the volume from afar. I would recommend these if you’re not looking for a super high end speaker setup, they are nice and clear, no rattle or shakiness at higher volumes either.

The speakers are so appealing to the eyes and the sound quality is crisp, clear and balanced. I bought the brown marron one and it complements with the decor of the house and connects so easily with Macbook. These speakers are worth every penny!

This Speaker sounds great. Deep Bass sound for music and definite help with gaming. The remote is an added touch so I don't have to touch it. I recommend buying it if you want great speakers for a good price.

Good speakers but poor grill color choice

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The speakers are used on a TV to replace the tinny TV speakers. The line (RCA) outputs on the TV were used which required the volume control on the speakers to be at max. The vol control on the speakers have no stops! When the speakers are turned off, they DO NOT remember the vol setting. I just leave them on 24/7. The wood case is nice but the color of the grill (light grey) is a miss-match. I looked online for a brown or tan grill, but all that is available is a black grill directly from Edifier. The sound quality is much better than the TV speakers.

Pretty solid for the price point. I bought these for my JVC record player with phono/RCA output, and these work great. Came with cables for RCA to RCA and RCA to Aux, along with speaker wire for the secondary passive speaker. These speakers do not support Bluetooth, so you would need another adapter if that's what you're looking for. Other than that, easy hook up to my preamp and record player and sounds great!

These speakers have no business being as good as they are. The sound stage at ear height is just unbelievable. There's enough low end to convey the sound of bass, but you won't feel it in your bones. You'll want to get the separate sub for that. But every other aspect is fantastic. Grab these if you're mostly listening to music or video in a smaller space. I'd pass on these for gaming just due to the lack of bass punch.

I bought these for work based on the reviews for it. I love listening to music, watching YouTube, movies, and TV in my free time. I use a pair of older Bose computer speakers that cost almost $400 that I bought like 3 years ago. These things blow those out of the water. I'm telling you, if you're looking for a serious listening experience, this is it. The look great, good build, fantastic sound. For those of you worried about the bass, it's definitely there, but its no sub woofer.
