This was a gift and it thrilled the recipient! He really liked the quality of sound considering how compact the speakers are.

They sound a little bit muddy to my brother because they were a gift we can't find tuna for some odd reason when you play them up to hear them where we place them

These sounded great for the 2 weeks I had them before they just stopped powering on. 4 days since I sent the inquiry to the manufacturer about the defect and still no word. Probably would not purchase from Edifier again.

This is my second Edifier Computer speaker setup (home and work offices) and I am more than impressed with the sound quality! At my work office, I need to be able to keep the volume low and still hear both video conferences and training videos with very clear sound. I can still crank up the volume for those occasional music jam out sessions when I stay late and everyone is gone. The bass is clear and strong yet doesn’t shake my office walls, forcing my coworkers to hear the same thing as I am hearing. All while having full range crisp highs at the knobs neutral EQ position. I have one complaint, the speakers are huge for a desktop even if they look fantastic, they take up more space than any other speaker that I have owned over the years.
I would recommend this to a friend

I wanted to replace my old Bose computer speakers. I was never happy with their somewhat boomy and constricted sound, but limited desk space also limited my choices until Bluetooth came along. I listen to a wide variety of music, but classical—particularly orchestral—is my acid test for speakers. I'm very pleased with these: the sound is balanced, accurate, and spacious. I use them in a smallish home office (about 10X12), and they fill the room nicely. There's a subwoofer connection, but I don't think I'll be needing it. Another big plus for me is the manual tone controls. It would have been nice to have them on the remote, because I put the speakers behind me high up on a shelf, but that's a very minor quibble.
