Perfect for movies and games

I'm surprised these speakers aren't popular in the US. They are absolutely gorgeous for movies and gaming! Good for larger rooms, the smaller the room the more bass will be felt. It's like the sound is enveloping the whole room, you can feel the sound everywhere, not just from the speakers.
Previously I had a junior model 2730db, in the new model improved midrange, bass is still great, treble is also good. Balanced and warm!
For this money you will not find anything better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
I previously bought and returned a Sony Theatre 8 with sw5 sub (1600$) - the 2850db is completely superior to these, while costing 449$.
I also bought and returned Airpulse A200 - they are good for music in a small room, but not good for movies and games, sound is flat, narrow music scene, too bright midrange, which can make your ears bleed at medium-high volume, almost no bass.
Stop overpaying for soundbars and passive speakers! Buy these speakers and get high from the first seconds!
I would recommend this to a friend

Great speakers, but ...

These are very good sounding speakers with surprisingly good base performance that probably negated my need for a separate subwoofer. I use them to replace my built-in TV speakers on my Sony Smart TV. It does have a subwoofer output should I need one. The only reason why this is four star not five star is because the remote is very difficult to replace should it ever get lost. There are no universal remotes that I know of that can link to the built-in amp of these powered speakers. The replacements that I've seen on Amazon are for different models and it's not an easy replacement to even find on the Edifier website. Their customer service takes a few days to get back to you . So I've got to take real good care of that remote. And changing the remote's disc battery is not an easy task when that day comes. But the speakers sound very very good, you won't be disappointed.
