I paired this with Edifier's r1700BT powered desktop speakers to provide a fuller bass experience in my office. Subwoofers in general provide a better listening experience in my opinion. The sub has its own volume and phase control that are worth playing with to tweak the sound, avoid being overpowered by too much bass, depending on your preferences. Particularly for the price, in a small/medium-sized room, this really fills in the lower end.

Great little subwoofer. Worked perfectly for my setup. Cheap price. Small unit. Big sound. Would definitely recommend if your want to add a powered subwoofer without spending alot
