Very good product, quick and easy to setup. Transition from old eero was seamless, and the improvements are quite noticable.

Dear sebas1,
Thank you for your brief but helpful review of the eero 7 mesh system. While your review is concise, you've highlighted two key points that matter most to potential buyers - the easy setup process and noticeable performance improvements over previous eero systems.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience!

Trusted Review for Eero Mesh System Overall

It works, but the estimation for how much this mesh system covers by square footage is highly off. I get that there are walls and depending on how thick they are will determine the strength of connectivity. This being said, you may need to provide more extensions to the device and highly suggest getting 3 satellites to the minimum. My review for 3 stars is fair since it works, but to have ran a netgear mesh system prior to transitioning to eero made me realize how incompetent eero actually is. My old netgear orbi mesh system only had two satellites and penetrated between walls. Another thing to mention is there are only two ethernet ports while other brands have 4 ports. This becomes a problem because nothing can beat a hard wired system. Now days, TVs are able to stream so thats one port, another port is for your modem, and whether you are a gamer, that is another port for that as well.

This eeros router is the best router we have ever had. It was easy to set up. It worked immediately and provides the fastest wifi. So far, we are extremely satisfied.

The easiest and fastest way I’ve ever setup a router. They give you step by step instructions as well as an easy app to navigate. I would highly recommend, and it is a very fast system in general 5/5

Easy setup that anyone can figure out. Pay for 1g with spectrum ran juat over. During peak hrs run in 800 mbps. That is do to spectrum though. Live in ranch that is 2200 sq ft. Signal is perfect no matter where you are.

THIS IS A GREAT MESH SYSTEM, REALLY PUSHES THE SIGNAL WELL IN OUR TRI-LEVEL HOUSE. OUR TV IS LITERALLY AS FAR AWAY FROM THE INTERNET ROUTER AS IT CAN BE IN THE HOUSE AND THE SIGNAL MUST BE PUSHED THROUGH MANY WALLS. IT DOES A TERRIFIC JOB, FULL 100% RECEPTION AT THE TV! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

-Good that it has an extra ethernet port, you can hardwire game systems to the access point.
-Internet speeds were unusable in parts of the house (2770 square foot), and now the internet is fast (500+mbps in the worst parts) in every room. Getting close to the max of our 1 gig internet in many parts of the house.
Actually getting 1,058 mbps on this computer as I type this review. No ethernet cable, just going off wifi- and we only pay for 1 gig with our ISP.
