Bought this to extend range, coverage of Internet/Wi-Fi, in two-story, 3000 sq. ft. home with basement. As advertised, took only about 10-15 mins to setup and is working perfectly. Can now stream into basement and to outside patio. Highly recommend!

I purchased 4 Sonos speakers, a Sonos soundbar for the TV and LinkSys router. Sound from TV cut in and out when Sonos was on the WiFi. Not good during football season. Sonos told me to buy a Boost for signal strength. Still had same problem. Then Sonos had me run a diagnostic for analysis and had the nerve to tell me that my new Samsung TV needed a firmware upgrade. IDIOTS!!!! I downloaded a WiFi signal strength app to my iPhone and found there was a dead spot around the TV. I bought EERO, dumped the LinkSys, dumped the Sonos Boost and the problem was eliminated. EEROS was easy to set up and provided outstanding signal strength that covered the dead spot that LinkSys and Boost could not. Yay EEROS! I'm a happy football fan again and no, Sonos Idiots, I do not a firmware upgrade for my new 65" Samsung TV.

Per recommendations from the knowledgeable store rep, I purchased this eero mesh WiFi system to replace my Frontier 100mbs Router to improve coverage and strength of signal in my single story 1,900 sq foot home. I followed the instructions and was surprised how easy it was to install. It took about 15 minutes and I was up and running. My WiFi went from about 60mbs download, 90mbs upload to 100mbs download, 100mbs upload throughout the house. The eero app on my phone provides all the secure WiFi information needed to keep tabs on all the devices connected and operational speed. You have complete control of who can access and what is accessed on this mesh network. Thoroughly satisfied with this product.

Super easy to set up and use. It replaced the router from the cable company. I have three of them and they provide excellent coverage in a 2800 sq ft house. I'm getting 400+ mbps on the primary one down to 130 mbps at the farthest one. Interestingly, I tried setting my network up with five eero devices and it was much slower. Three provided the best coverage. I had to try multiple placement arrangements to optimize coverage. The app lets you see and name all the devices that have connected. It scans for cyber threats and keeps a log of how many there were and which devices were targeted. Super easy to set up a guest network.

I was having issues getting devices / streaming to work in the back of the house. My setup was a simple Netgear Nighthawk router. No problems in the office, or the living room - but as soon as I went to the back where the media room is - programs would buffer, and devices would drop service sporadically. I purchased this Eero Mesh setup, placed one in the office, on in the back corner of the living room and the last one in the media room. WOW! Setup was extremely easy - and everything is working like it should have to begin with. No problems anywhere in the house and I’ve noted as I move around my phone or tablet will change it’s connection to the closest eero for optimal speeds. If your on the fence about a mesh setup - do the research, read the reviews and do yourself a favor and at least try it out. You won’t regret it.

I have had a set of these eero's for over a year (this review is for a second set I bought recently for a family member). I am reasonably network savvy and had a much more complex setup with a separate router, and multiple access points. I decided to simplify with the eero mesh and it was a great decision. Very happy with the coverage, ease of management and automatic upgrades. I also like that it has wired backhaul, which improves WiFi performance. If you want to really tweak your network, this may not be the best choice, but for most people, it should be a nice choice. This is the older model without WiFi-6, but again, for most people, you do do not need that.

For years I had suffered needlessly with poor reception of my home network. I thought it was the computer or the makeup of my home or something that was a permanent problem. My provider was not an option where Iived. We were assigned a provider and there was no other option. Since I am not a savy tech head, I tolerated the ups and down of my service for years. The quarantine period made the use of the network more important so I had my brothers give me suggestions which I investigated. My provider had good information on EERO and it was recommended by family so I gave it a try. Wow the difference was immediately noticeable. My wife could tell the difference in seconds. We now have great speeds even outside poolside. That was never a possibility before. It was easy to set up. Don't delay, get legal speed!

It performed exactly as described. No more dead spots in the house. The feeling is like finally having a full signal strength cell phone coverage in the middle of nowhere and still download and upload at 4g speed.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, our 2 daughters are now home and taking online classes from their respective universities as well as my wife and I are working from home. We could not upgrade our internet due to our service provider's limitations so we went to Best Buy to find out how can we boost our wifi signal to accommodate 4 users of the internet at the same time. We were advised to purchase and install eero's dual band mesh wifi system and we are thrilled we did. It was easy to install and in the month we have used this system, have had no problems connecting to the internet. In fact previously, we were have problems streaming shows from netflex where buffering would occur and since we installed eero, we have not this issue. We would recommend this product to anymore!

Bought this system yesterday. I was in need of a mesh network because the wi-fi signal in my home was not reaching all the corners of the home, and the basement was the equivalent of a Wi-Fi graveyard. We had a Wi-Fi extender and the signal was incredibly weak (about 10 Mbps) and it was making working from home a nightmare. I grabbed these in order to get a more balanced signal throughout my home. The installation was easy, and the accompanying app walked me through the whole process. I speed tested the coverage all throughout my home and the speeds were consistently above 80Mbps even with multiple devices connected at the same time. Definitely recommend this mesh network for the value, ease of use, and speeds delivered!

    No More Wi-Fi Dead Spots!

I can't really speak to how this competes with other mesh Wi-Fi options, but it's far superior to using an extender (what we initially used to try to get rid of our dead zones) and seemed reasonable at $200 with a free Amazon Echo Dot. We live in a two-story, 2,400-square-foot house built in 2017 that is long and narrow. The AT&T Fiber service technician installed the modem on the first floor near the back door, and before mesh Wi-Fi, the front of our house on both floors was a dead zone. We now get 900 Mbps in the room with the modem and the first eero unit, 300-500 Mbps in the rooms with the other two eero units, and minimum 100 Mbps everywhere else in the house. Setup was very intuitive, highly recommended.

We live in a 2200 sq.ft. colonial house and we have Verizon FIOS. The FIOS router is in one corner of our basement and we always had a lot dead spots. Our kids always complained about it. At one point we bought a WiFi range extender. That improved the situation a bit. But it was never perfect. Streaming a movie was always a problem. So, we decided to give it a try. First of all, the setup was very easy. In no time we got all three units up and running. There are no dead spots. We can stream from multiple devices and surf the web at the same time.

Besides the problem with some smart devices refuse to connect to the Eero router, Setting it up was simple and easy. In about two minutes the router and modem was connected. In about five minutes the smart devices that would connect to the router instantly where connected and running. This Eero router has features that I was looking for in a router which is why I purchased it. Besides the malware protection that built into the router so that goes no farther then the router is the other features that I was looking for. And capable of being on both 2.4 and 5G at the same time makes it nice for the devices that can handle the 5G instead of one or the other.
