Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

I had been wanting to get a mesh network going as I live in a two story house and have almost half an acre lot with a pool and outdoor kitchen fire pit etc. We spend time almost everywhere, poolside or gaming room, so I wanted to have good network coverage. It was simply to set up and I have not had any issues since I have had it going. I will probably get one more eero only to have in the very corner where the fire pit is. Though I may put that off as I have not had any drop offs and it's funny as my phone picks up my network driving 4 houses down when coming home. It's great. This also uses it's own software as well as own proprietary engineering, so it will be hard for hackers. Get this, you wont forget it.

Bought the eero system to expand coverage of internet in home. It has been amazing. I don’t have those spots that have poor coverage. Would highly recommend. Easy to install too.

The eero system has been doing a great job. It was easy to install. I have a few problems getting the optimal locations for the three units but eventually got them in place to cover two floors of a very large house. I would have given 5 stars but I think the price is too high.

    The best mesh system

We tried a Night Hawk router and then the Linksys Velop Mesh and the Eero Pro is much better for our home. We have 3 floors and 5200 sq/ft and staggering the pucks with one on each floor provides excellent coverage. The pucks connected easily and the user interface on the app is pretty easy to navigate. It does ask you to "upgrade" your protection to a paid service but we haven't felt the need to do that. We are using ATT Fiber. With the Night Hawk, we didn't get complete coverage throughout our home and the Velop system lost connection frequently and even with 5 Nodes we didn't have complete coverage in our home.

Best Mesh WiFi on the Market

I have an irregular shaped large home. After doing extensive research I figured that a mesh solution would be the best option for me. I looked at a lot of products. I was deciding between the Orbi WiFi 6 vs the eero Pro. The sales rep gave me the information on both and I decided to go with the eero as you can connect via ethernet for your backhaul. I'm finally getting the value of my gigabyte service through out my house. All wired connections to the eero are pulling 900 down and 40 up consistently. My wireless connections are 400 down and 40 up through out the house. The best part is that it was very simple and easy to set up! Highly recommend this product.

First time installing one of these, was easy to set up and when I contacted support with a cpl of questions, they were knowledgeable. House is ~2500 sq ft with lathe and plaster walls and it's working great.

I had a 40% signal strength in my office before installing the eero system and now over 80%. No more "glitches" in my Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls from home. Easy the set up, too.

Bought these because they were a bit cheaper than the Wi-Fi 6 version and they have been satisfactory. Coverage is good and I get 80% of my internet speed three nodes away in my bedroom. Overall, a good product once I moved it away from other objects.

Installation was a breeze, first you add all your Eero devices and let the system to configure the mesh. I have two Eero routers and 20+ devices at home, never had any issues, like speed drop or disconnects.

ways for a non-IT to expand WiFi capabilities

I didn't realize that it was the capabilities of my hardware that was reached. Kept trying to increase the bandwidth I was purchasing trying to get more effective wifi coverage. Was using the rental modem/router. Your IP will let you keep renting an inferior product if you let them. Didn't realize I wasn't being a savvy consumer just because of my ignorance. Saved a great deal of money by slowing the bandwidth purchased monthly and purchasing a new router and this meshed network. Took a matter of three hours to set up and troubleshoot. Most of the time was spent on the phone with my IP and EERO customer service because I wasn't following the instructions correctly and some of my SMART home devices were confusing the set up (and me!). Once that was set up, the network and router seamlessly took over and reestablished connections to all my devices. Nice that I didn't have to set all that up again. The app is user-friendly and makes me feel like an informed consumer. I find myself running to it just to see what's going on. I did have to contact customer service 6 weeks after installation to troubleshoot and they assisted in the troubleshooting to get me to realize that I was experiencing IP update issues. They were excellent in assisting me even though I did not elect to pay for monthly anti-virus protection and support. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend and feel that it was pricy but, the manufacturer was offering a discount when you recycled an old router... BONUS.

This was the easiest thing to setup. We have a multiple level home and get good reception anywhere. The only drawback on this the cost! But I believe it’s a good investment.

I used to have the old Brighthouse "Echo" whole home wifi. There were dead spots and 0 connectivity outside the hose. All of my devices continually needed re starting and my Carlo cameras were very slow to connect. Since I have installed the Eero system all devices work very well and I get a good signal outside. I'm thinking of adding 1 more node for the outside but still have not decided as there is a signal. The install was beyond simple. You down load the app and just follow step by step, it tests and checks along the way to be sure all is good. This is a truly easy to install and high quality WiFi system. I would recommend this to all my friends.
