I got this mesh system because I have been adding automation to my home with wifi lights and other devices. As an employee at Best Buy, I was able to easily pick the brain of our most knowledgeable consultants, and find the resources to back up their claims. eero doesn't play games. They give you quality mesh routers, and an app that gives you control and security. If you like knowing things, the app shows you the things. If you need parental features, the app lets you block sites, and even pause internet access for a specific device. If don't want to give out your wifi name and password to every guest, the app lets you create a guest network. BTW: eero now has a gen 6 wifi mesh system which is what you'll need for gigabit internet. I had mine set up by geek-squad. Not because I didn't know how, but because I didn't want to take the time. The Agent set it up in about 30 minutes, where it would have taken me at least an hour. Plus I am a total tech member so I only paid $50 for the service.

Was unsure about this product prior to purchasing however, after connecting it to my Comcast router, all I can say is WOW. My house is approximately 2600 square feet and this system covers every square inch. I specifically purchased this unit to work with my ring wireless spot lights. I now have seamless connection in the front yard and backyard. Amazing product.

3 pack of Pro eeros. We used one as a router in our lower level, and the other two on the first and second floors. A big drop in speed on the second floor went away after installing the eeros. We had no problem getting them set up. They seem to be well worth the cost as we need more and more internet speed in a large household.

Don’t let the price of this system deter you. I used to have a competing system from netgear which would randomly drop connections. I had it for about 18 months and it started to require almost weekly reboots. I have had no such issues with this system, at all, and it allows me to utilize more my FIOS gigabit Ethernet speeds.

Set up was easy in my 4 level home. I place the main unit on the 1st floor, the 2nd in the master bedroom on the 3rd floor and the final unit in the basement. Our internet has never performed so well and takes advantage of the internet speed that we've always had but could never use before. Buy it and you won't look back!

I was first put off by the price of this. The salesman said to take it home and see if it doesn't solve all my internet connection problems. This city is a tough one to get good service. So I took the chance. He was so right! Now everything is faster and well connected! Glad I invested the money. It's worth it!

It made my Wifi faster and the range huge improvement.

Had adequate coverage before that was stressed with work and learn from home. This solved the problem and added very robust coverage. No more drops from streaming or video calls, sometimes four at a time. Cool app lets tlhat gives a lot of network information and control. Easy to set up. Couldn't be happier!

I returned this for an Orbi. The Eero got slower speeds than the Orbi does, and for some reason my LG OLED tv would not connect to the internet after installing this. The app experience for the Eero is cleaner and more functional than the Orbi, but I would rather have faster speeds with fewer units positioned throughout the house.
