What I expected: perfection. What I got: great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So after reading a zillion reviews on this product I expected it to work perfectly with all my devices and to never have any issues with connectivity. I have Charter/Spectrum internet which is generally very strong and reliable. I previously had a Netgear router that had several dead spots in our home. The eero seems to have eliminated the dead spots, although the signal is fairly weak in some spots in the house. Overall, I think it is an improvement from our Netgear, but it is not the panacea that I thought it would be after reading reviews. I cannot give it 5 stars because of the weak signal. I know the Charter internet is strong enough to reach throughout my home. I have two eeros, possibly should have a third. One is on the bottom level of the home, another in the second level. The cost prevented me from wanting to invest in a third. My Netgear and booster (much cheaper) constantly dropped the signal in the second level of our home. The eero seems to be pretty consistent with the signal, with a bit weaker signal in some areas in the home.

Excellent system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read the reviews before buying a three pack, I didn’t see enough negatives so I went and bought a system for myself. Setting up was extremely easy, and I recommend anyone who has dead zones in their home or property to invest in a eero 3 pack.

Reliable System and Fast WiFi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every 2-3 years I get fed up with having to restart my router frequently because my streaming movies or TV will not load, and go out to Best Buy for the latest and greatest hardware to solve my problem. The eero system is the first to finally solve my problem, and truly gets better with time. Within 24 hours of install, not only was my WiFi twice as fast, but because of the multiple routers that make up a system, I now get WiFi in the front of my house and even in my backyard. I recommend this product to anyone that wants simple to set up, powerful, and reliable WiFi in their home.

Excellent router for multi-use!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We just purchased this Eero Router a week ago and so far its been working fantastic. We have a 2 story home, just under 2000 sq. with 4 bedrooms. At any given time we have at least 9-13 devices going between iPhones, iPads, MAC computers, X-box and PS4, Samsung Smart TV, HP computer, etc. My husband is not a tech geek but he said It was fairly easy to install HOWEVER to download the app to install the Eero you need to have the internet working. Well duh, we had no router so no internet access. We ended up having to use my husband's work phone and use a hotspot for wi-fi in order to download the app. However once the app was installed it was fairly simple, quick, and easy to install. Love that it has 3 units to space out around the house for overall coverage. We keep 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Also love that the app tells you when everything looks good, what devices are currently in use, where the location of the 3 units are, and also what devices were previously used on the network. You can also nickname your devices for easier knowledge of who's on what, what's on, etc. It also will tell you your download Mbps and upload Mbps. Good to know! Previously we had the Apple routers (2) and each one seemed to last only 2 years and then, poof! No internet or spotty internet or devices being kicked off. Decided to skip Apple this time and try something else recommended by the Best Buy guru. Only bad thing is the price. $400 is a LOT of money but after paying $200 each over the last 4 years for Apple routers it was kind of a wash. Keeping fingers crossed this Eero will last for a long time to come -but just in case we did buy the 2 year protection plan.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It lives up to the hype! It really does work like WiFi should! Really fast, steady, and reliable. No matter how many devices. The app also measures the speed.

Very Easy and Wonderful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This eero wifi system has to be the easiest thing in technology to install!! It took me about 15 minutes from start to finish and there were no complicated questions to answer. The installation software is very complete and incredibly easy. The software tells you when you have the second unit in a good position so you just have to try several locations to find the best place for it. The units themselves are minimalism at its finest and are actually attractive. It's too bad more technology isn't this easy to set up! The wifi system works beautifully and requires nothing to maintain other than updating the software once in awhile. The coverage of my two-story 2400 sq.ft. house is excellent! I get full coverage everywhere with just the router and one extra unit. The signal strength is also very good although it does vary somewhat from location to location and time to time as you would expect. However, in all locations it's more than sufficient to do anything I want to do. In conclusion, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

fast and easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great whole home system! I setup numerous systems with the Mesh options, but this is probably the fastest I set it up! Plus, the coverage was great and the general speed is awesome! At first, I was a little skeptical spending $100 more than most system, but now that I went through the install, I recommend this one over the Google home and other systems!

Fantastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Eero system when I was shopping for a new router and am in love with it! So easy to set up and now my home wifi coverage has doubled. Can place the eero really anywhere with a plug and now I average 50+mbps virtually everywhere around my house. Have already had two updates to the software and looking forward to more possibilities!

Worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I justified the cost of the Eero by considering how much per month I've been paying U-verse for their "Top Speed", only to get sluggish WiFi over a year, dividing the cost of the Eero by 12 and I just ask "Why did I wait?" I did have to disable the Wifi on the supplied U-Verse Gateway that I have to keep. Figuring that part out was the longest part of the setup. All I had to do was put 192.168.1.136 in the browser and it took me to my AT&T account. I clicked on the Wifi settings and disabled the Wifi. At first I didn't realize I had to disable both of the radio frequencies, but once I disabled them both Eero connected immediately and the set up was a piece of cake. It required me to use my phone (disconnected from Wifi) to set up the account and the set up the router. I easily picked my own Wifi name & password. The set up was extremely user friendly. I've been using the Eero now for about 10 days, with about 20 or so devices connected at any given time. Every device works seamlessly from room to room and the download speeds are SOOOOOO much faster. On my phone and Ipad I can use the Eero app to see all the devices that are connected and the dowload/upload speeds.

No more WiFi issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to encounter issues with getting a wifi connection to my mobile devices (iPhones and iPads) from the router to my living room - about 150 ft on the opposite end of the house. I purchased a wifi extender, but after a couple of years of struggling with inconsistent connectivity and when I was finally able to connect, it would be with a weak signal and slow connection, I decided it was time to find a better system. My sister-in-law told me about the Eero system, so I figured I would give it a try - what do I have to lose? Whoa! Was I surprised at how easy it was to set up, very simple. I've had the system for about 3 months now and absolutely love it! I always have a strong signal and have not noticed any loss of speed when surfing the Internet or checking mail. I would highly recommend this product if you have a weak signal between your router and where you use your mobile devices.

Solved my wifi issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been struggling with spotty wifi coverage in my house for a while. I tried out different routers and extenders which didn't solve anything. This helped alot . It is very easy to set up and there are clear instructions. It's pretty pricey but if you're desperate for reliable WiFi throughout your house then it's worth a try.

Easy setup and great performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I planned to purchase a 3 pack but the salesperson asked about my home layout and suggested that I would only need 2. I appreciated his input, especially since it saved me money. His advice was correct. The Eero was very easy to set up. The smartphone app walks you through it step by step and even helps you position the units optimally. I was replacing a Netgear AC band router and my wireless speed clocked about 30% faster with the Eero. I don't use many advanced setup features, but they are available with Eero. I have about 15 wired products that are plugged into a gigabit switch. I have about 40 smart switches, outlets and bulbs using a Wink 2 hub and after installing Eero, the minimal timing lag was gone. I typically had to reset my Netgear router obout once per month, but have had no need with Eero yet even once. One unit is wired to my modem and to my switch. The other is connected wirelessly and has amazing speed. I will eventually wire the 2nd one just to see if it offers even better speeds, but for now it's not a priority since my wireless speeds exceed what my internet service should top out at. Highly recommended.

WiFi coverage across entire home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the Eero WiFi system about three weeks ago and have zero complaints whatsoever. Fast and reliable speed with almost no remaining dead zones in my house. It took a total of about 10 minutes to set up the whole system. The recent upgrade to the app is also a nice touch from the developers. Overall, a great purchase!

Excellent Device and Connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been having issues for a while with wi-fi coverage in our home. First tried using the provided wifi router from Time Warner, which had decent speeds but could not get coverage in our finished basement. Tried adding a Netgear wifi repeater, but the signal was weak and the speed was slow connecting to the repeater. Also, i would need to frequently reboot the wifi router. I purchased and setup up the Eero 2-pack where the current wifi router and repeaters were and immediately saw great improvement in both coverage and speed. Now I am able to maximize the use of my internet service in download speeds as well as having coverage everywhere in my home, including the basement. Have owned the Eero system for a few months and have never needed to reboot the Eero devices. I am completely satisfied with this wifi system. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
