I read many of the reviews as I have a large home footprint. Placed properly the signal strength and speed is good throughout the home with no dead spots.

Eero fulfilled all my needs with regard to getting the signal around a very difficult house with concrete walls. However, one unit was broken when dropped from 3ft. as the internal receptor for the power cord dislodged when someone knocked into the unit

I have a split level home and getting a signal was nearly impossible, especially upstairs. The EERO 3 pack did the trick. No problems anymore.

Bought this for my apartment in a hotel that I own. It works well when it wants to, but sometimes it does not work and gives really slow speed. The configuration was that. I plugged these in to my existing linksys high end router; which gives me speed of 110 to 125 MBPS download. When I did speed test on eero while standing right next to it, I got about the same speed as my $400 linksys router. GREAT! Went up to my apartment on the second floor, hooked up the second eero connected it to the first eero which was downstairs(first floor). Did the speed test upstairs - 100+ MBPS GREAT! Moved 50 feet away from second eero - did the speed test, 20 to 30 MBPS only! Hooked up the third eero. Tried connecting my iphone to the second one - nope, it won't connect. Apparently after connecting the third eero, I had to reboot the second eero in order to connect my iphone to third!!!??? WHAT!? Still hopeful--- Took both the device from upstairs to downstairs hallway (no interference what so ever). Put the second one abouter 40 feet from the first eero(connected to linksys via ethernet cable), then tested the speed on second one.. got two to five MBPS. YES 2 to 5! It seems like, you have to stay really close for each device to work at optimal speed. I currently have ubiquit APs in the hallway that are hardwire to linksys router and they work great. I get 20 to 30 MBPS while 100+ feet away from them and while very close, I get full speed of 100+MBPS. I think the eero will be good for small houses but again, you can spend $200 on one router and be able to connect easily in small house situation. Also, these device got very hot, especially the one that is hardwired to the linksys router. I did zero surfing, just 10 to 15 speed tests and it got hot.

Out of the few mesh networks this is by far the better one so far. I tried Luma and didn't like the lack of functions that was promised. Eero is standing strong and never have any issues. Great fast reliable wireless but comes with a cost that's worth it.

Ive so far purchased numerous singles and 3 packs for clients of mine. I simply will not recommend conventional routers on the market after trying these.

This is the minimum number of eero's you need (3) . If you see packs that have less, they are for setting up additional rooms. This is the basic set up you need for a standard size home ( as realtors say "5-4-and a door") Instructions are easy and very clear a nice feature vs. other instruction manuals we have all had to deal with! Set the 1st unit next to your router. Follow instructions. Once the 1st unit is going plug in the next ones folowing directions. That is it, so easy to set up. Super fast speeds on your new "mesh" Network. Enjoy!

For more than 20 years I have not had consistent web coverage for my long ranch house. It was fine in my den and living room, but spotty in the kitchen and bedrooms. That is until I saw the Eero Wi-Fi System demonstrated on the late segment of the Today Show. I immediately went out and purchased it from Best Buy. Brought it home and with the help of my 37 year-old-son, had it up and working in less than an hour. Mission accomplished!

Easy to set up and the coverage is very good. Not quite the end all answer to network coverage but certainly better than the klugee Apple network I put together. Recommend for vertically oriented not horizontally oriented living spaces.
