We ugraded from eero pro 6 to eero max 7 and the results are incredible. We have 115 online devices and my son likes to play games on play station, xbox, and gaming pc. We have all three eeros hard wired and i am getting on my iphone 15 pro 940 download and 925 upload speeds wirelessly. Our hard wired devices are getting 980 download and 980 upload. We have AT&T fiber 1000 plan. I had tried the Netvear 973 but i prefer eero beciase the app is better and eero only charges $100 for the eero plus which is a must better deal than the cost of all of netgears packages which you have to pay for after one year continued support, security software, and child monitoring which all total comes out to being well more than $100 yearly. We have been with eero from 2018 with our first mesh system the eero pro 5. We did try the eero pro 6e but that system had lots of issues so we returned it. We had been waiting for the eero max 7 since it was announced back in the summer. You won’t be disappointed amd the ease to set up and headache free. Eero has finally returned back to being a solid system less the eero pro 6e which i had heard from the pandemic did not have all the quality components eeeo had been known to contain. I am so thankful eero returned to excellence. Way to go eero.

This router pretty much does everything that it list it can do on paper. I'm running two gaming PCs, consoles, and many other devices without any issue. The app is very intuitive and simple to use. Unlike the other eeros, this does have multiple of Ethernet ports on the back so you may not need a splitter. Only gripe with eero as a whole and the reason I'm not eating it 5 stars is because eero doesnt make it simple to split your 2.4 and 5ghz bands. This is a bit annoying especially with some smarthome devices that only run on 2.4 but despite that, no real issues on my side.

As a tech guy that likes getting into complicated stuff to setup, this is way too easy. Added this as the third unit to my other two. At first I didn't have a cable to it connecting to the others so it setup via Wifi. Once I connected the Ethernet cable to it, it switched to a wired connection. Speed on these are good except I don't have anything WiFi 7 to test it.

I have been trying different wifi mesh. Most of the other brand and lower model of eero failed. So I tried this as my last resort. I was very surprise. It gave me a very good wifi signal all around my house. I have so many dead spots and this router mesh solved my problem.

After extensive research, I chose the eero max 7 3-pack and my only regret is not getting it sooner. I live in a 9,000sf old brick & stone 3 story house and the plan was to get a 4th max 7 to assure full coverage but I don’t think it’ll be necessary. These 3 units mesh seamlessly all throughout and it was very simple to install! Highly recommend it

Fast wired and wireless connectivity to support greater than 1Gbps speeds. Very easy to setup and has long range. Only recommended for greater than 1 Gbps speeds.

I purchased this mesh system after upgrading my Google Fiber to an 8g package - with the understanding that it would be capable of reaching higher wireless speeds than the pack-in Google Fiber router I received.
Overall, the speeds have not been faster (both routers hitting 1,400-1500 Mbps in close proximity to router and hub units, but I was expecting faster with some of my higher end (Apple) devices. Still, the range is more consistent than what came from Google. I rarely dip below 400 Mbps and most areas have at least 700-800.
The only other minor annoyance is that I'm not able to distinguist 2.4, 5, 6 bands like I have with other routers.
Overall, this was really easy to setup and I imagine I'll eventually see the full power these units promise as devices advance.

Hi Gstaff. Thank you for your feedback on the eero Max 7 system. I’m sorry to hear that you're not getting the speed that you expected. Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

I am using just 1 eero max 7 in a 4000 sq ft home and I am getting excellent coverage throughout. I have 1 gig internet and my wifi 6e s23 ultra shows over a gig download speed.
One of the best routers I have ever used. Simple setup and one is online.

Upgraded to the Eero Max 7 after owning the 6 Pro and the performance was night and day. I’m getting 1 G on Wi-Fi throughout my house on my Wi-Fi 6E and 7 devices. 5 and 2.4 GHz performance still leaves much to be desired, but overall worth it if you’re looking for a simple and reliable Wi-Fi setup.

I've gravitated toward Eero products for the past few years thanks to their ease of use while offering good set-and forget wifi performance. I am on gigabit fiber and I used a 3-pack of Eero pro 6 for the last 2 years with great reliability. The pro 6 gave me around 300-600mbps download speeds depending on location.
My ISP recently offered 2 gig speed at a reasonable price and being the tech guy I am I decided to jump on it. I replaced my Eero pro 6's with these max 7's and I now get 600-1500mbps depending on location, and thats only on 6 or 6E devices. Once we get some native wifi 7 devices, we should see even faster speed.
I also really appreciate the 2 10gb ports and the 2 2.5gb ports. Finally we have an Eero wifi device with ample wired options. You can have the satellite units (which are technically identical to the main router) wired or wireless. If you use wired ethernet to connect the other units, make sure you wire the other two units "downstream" of the main router unit.
As with previous Eero products, these are very, very easy to set up. They use an app for everything and it uses the amazon cloud to provide continual data about your network that works the same regardless of if you're at home or not. You can see how much data each device is using and set various parental controls if desired. The app is well designed and easy to use. There aren't as many advanced wifi options as some expert users might want, but for those who want an easy option that works well, Eero is great. They are incredibly reliable and the max 7 appears to be no different.
My main complaint about Eero systems have to do with the subscription to Eero plus. I used to have a $3/month one from them that provided extra functionality such as ad-blocking and other protections as well as more detailed data consumption and analytics. They had a $10/month tier as well which adds things such as 1password and a VPN service. Sadly, Eero discontinued the $3 tier and you now have to pay the $10/month even if you never want to use 1password or the other services. I wish Eero would bring back a cheaper subscription tier which doesn't have the extra services most won't use.
For most users, the max 7 is overkill. If you have gig speeds or less, the pro 6 or pro 6e is good at a much lower price. But for those with a super fast fiber connection looking for an easy to use friendly app based wifi system, look no further.

Completely overkill..and I love it, had a pair of Netgear mesh system box and I would get 500mb/s but had many issues with staying connected. The max 7's boosted our range and wired Into the one in my room that's upstairs and furthest point away from the modem, I now get 1.669 gb/s which makes downloading anything so fast. I honestly am in awe how fast my I teener is now

This was the easiest quickest set up ever, yes the Nest app is smoother a bit, but tech wise fhai is the ONE. UI will improve, but overall the best router i have ever purchased

I bought and returned the deco xe75 pro and spent the extra money for the eero max 7. Performance with one satellite is better than the 3 pack of the deco xe75 or any other of the can style wifi devices. The device and app are of excellent quality! Im Happy with the speeds it provides from my 2GB fiber plan. Getting about 1400 mbs down and 1600 mbs up!

The Eero router is fast but not perfect. If you like a simple set it and forget it device, then the eero ticks all the boxes. If you like to get your hands dirty and do lots of tweaks and customizations however, then the simple interface may not be what you are looking for. Overall, the unit appears to be solid and covers a lot of area with throughput to spare.

Awesome router. My old Linksys stopped working and I decided to get this because i have read such good things and I want to be somewhat future-proofed. I have never had such an easy time setting a system up. I clicked a couple of buttons and it was up in less than 5 minutes. It is very fast and very stable. If you are looking to upgrade, this is definitely one to have on your list.
