This is probably the best product I could’ve hoped for, applying it to my backyard I hooked up a full acre of land with full WiFi coverage! Super happy with it, and will be using for aslong as they keep it coming!

I was impressed how quick and easy setup was! I think it might have taken me six minutes! As far as coverage is concerned, I now have a strong signal throughout my house, cellar AND yard! Bravo!!!

Connects most of my Ring devices. I have a few Ring devices in my two sheds that keep coming offline. Have to figure out the issue.

Hello MaryE! Thank you for your feedback on the eero Outdoor 7. We're glad to hear it's successfully connecting most of your Ring devices; that's exactly what the eero Outdoor 7 is designed to do, extending reliable WiFi coverage to outdoor areas and outbuildings.
Regarding the Ring devices in your two sheds that keep dropping offline, this is a common challenge that typically stems from signal strength or environmental factors. Here are several troubleshooting steps that should help resolve the connectivity issues:
First, check the placement of your eero Outdoor 7 unit. For optimal coverage to detached structures like sheds, the unit should be mounted in a location with a clear line of sight to those buildings. Walls, dense foliage, and metal siding on sheds can all weaken the signal before it reaches your Ring devices.
Second, verify the signal strength to your sheds by checking the eero app. If the Ring devices are showing weak connections, you may benefit from repositioning the Outdoor 7 closer to a midpoint between your home and the sheds, or mounting it at a higher elevation where signals can travel with fewer obstructions.
Third, consider the shed construction materials. Metal-sided or metal-roofed sheds can significantly block WiFi signals from penetrating inside. If this is the case, positioning the eero Outdoor 7 so its signal enters through a window or door opening can make a meaningful difference.
Finally, ensure your Ring devices have the latest firmware by checking the Ring app; outdated firmware can occasionally cause intermittent connectivity drops.
If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available 7 days a week from 6am PT to 8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

We needed 2 outdoor Eero’s for our security cameras and our underground sprinkler. We had the Geek squad install the first one and we installed the second one ourselves. We are on about an acre of land and 2 outdoor Eeros cover about half of it. So far so good, but going through a Minnesota winter will be the real test.

I had an extra garage built and it had many wireless devices. This works great and it has such an extended range to the house it’s amazing. The cost is a bit shocking….

This is so strong it's crazy! We've been having an issue with some smart utility products which are located outside. We have Eero Pro 6's and Eero 6's throughout our home, but nothing would reach the outdoor appliances consistantly. This Outdoor 7 reaches ridiculously far through our neighborhood. We have it mounted in the garage and all our outdoor issues were gone as soon as we plugged it in!

Before we bought this Wi-Fi extender, I couldn’t go into the garage or out in the yard without losing the wi-fi signal. We put the Wi-Fi extender in the garage, and now we’ve got coverage in the garage and the entire yard outside the house.

[Employee of bestbuy] Annoyingly, this model does not broadcast on the 6Ghz band, unlike the Eero Pro 7e. Further, they elected to go with an external PoE power supply that is very difficult to hide when you're doing the exterior mount because the bracket leaves very little room between the device and the mounting surface. I ended up running exterior outlets to power the device but the external power brick makes any concealment solution a chore for anyone not wanting to drill through the walls of their house. Being an external mesh unit, the lack of a 6Ghz broadcast antenna is also extremely annoying because even with the Eero+ subscription, you're functionally lost the use of that band with smart switching on for finding the best access point between devices. Compared to the inside-the-home product offerings, this unit is a huge dissapointment.

Hi MichaelBBY. Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with the eero Outdoor 7. I'm sorry to that the system didn't meet your expectations. The eero Outdoor 7 is compatible with any PoE+ switch or injector with a CAT5e (or better) Ethernet cable if you'd prefer not to use the included PoE+ power adapter.
WiFi 7 is a technology standard that improves performance across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands. Because its improvements are not exclusive to the 6 GHz frequency, WiFi 7 routers can come in dual-band or tri-band. Band steering will still be available for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
