First, wifi 6 is not simply about after speed than the wifi 5, but it may slightly make that happen on compatible devices that support wifi 6, mostly device manufactured in 2018 and up. The significant feature that stands up here in this eero Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Wifi System is the wifi 6 capability, which allows multiple devices to be connected at the same time through MU-MIMO "multiple in and out". With that being said, the more devices you have the more reliable connection you receive from wifi6 because wifi is able to deliver the connection to many devices with less traffic congestion. Another benefit is the elimination of dead spots where devices losing connection and may interfere with each other, thank you for the reliable mesh. From my experience of having more than 65 devices connected to the same wifi network, I have been looking into wifi 6 only to address the traffic congestion as well as the dead spots where I completely lose connection. Like magic, this eero has proved its reliability by addressing my connection issues such as when using my Homnekit on Apple devices most of my Hue lights and smart sprinklers appear unresponsive, I tried to reset and replace multiple routers but nothing made any improvement. It also boosted my wifi speed to almost having m true speed that I'm paying for. Highly recommended if you have multiple devices at home and having issues with interference and dead spots. It is a piece of mind and lifesaver. I have been a user of AT&T Fiber (1000Mbps) and usually, I receive 50% of that speed on wifi 5 but now with eero system wifi 6, I'm getting almost full speed. Additional features are scan and add block but are trial. Amazing!!!!

I bought this router to future proof my Wi-Fi. It replaced a Netgear ac3600 router that was performing just fine. Setup was very easy and all of my various devices connected without any problem. So far I haven’t had any devices disconnect. I have a 1200 SqFt home with an attached garage, The router is located in the center of my house, and supports Philips hue lights, Wi-Fi plugs, 5 Amazon echos, 3 outdoor wifi cameras, iPhones, iPads, and a smart Wi-Fi garage door opener. As far as speed goes I’m getting the max speeds allowed by my Spectrum internet service (60 mbps) anywhere in my house. All in all I’m very pleased with my Eero.

This is the cheapest Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 router.
Unfortunately my house is not ready for this and had to return it.
Quickly after buying this I needed to use more physical ethernet port which this doesn't have. I needed some devices to connect to 2.4GHz only to isolate traffic from 5GHz network which this is lacking.
Good -
1. Tri-Band (if you know what it is)
2. Easy to setup via eero app only
3. Speed, coverage and quality
4. Easy coverage expansion via adding newly eero
Bad -
1. Only 1 Ethernet RJ45 port
2. No option to keep 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks separate
3. eero Android app doesn't allow much customization options
4. Some security features are available at extra cost
5. No way to configure via Ethernet cable
6. Irritating when you want some devices to connect to 2.4GHz network only

Upgraded from a mesh Orbi system. Superior performance. Much easier to set up, and significantly faster speeds. Cannot say enough great things about this router. I’m very fortunate to have fiber optics (1gbps up and down) and I was hitting 980 on both speed WIRELESSLY. I have never had something perform this well with how many devices I have (30+ including smart home.) Overall best purchase I have made this year.

Better Signal for Sure

Bought these about a month ago to get better signal around my house. The one you choose will definitely depend on the size and speed of your internet package. I have a 1GB plan with Xfinity in a 2 story 1700sq ft home. I have one connected to the main router downstairs and the other 2 upstairs on each end of the house.
Getting a decent speed upstairs was hard but have had no issues with buffering or work calls in my office since purchasing. Install and app was a breeze. Only downside is that the Eero is fairly expensive, but for the ease and better signal it was worth the investment.

Bought this 3-router pack to replace my Comcast Wifi Modem/Router combo. I use it in combination with a NetGear CM11 modem, which doesn't have Wifi but is just a modem. The reason I choose this router was because I had dead zones in and around my house. My solar system outside which was opposite the office corner where the previous router was didn't get any WiFi signal, which was required for monitoring.
Once I had the netgear modem installed, this router setup was a breeze. Literally took a few minutes after turning it on and finding the router through the help of the iPhone app. The app is required, so you must have a iPhone or Android phone I believe. The main/master router is connected directly into the modem through a physical ethernet cable (provided with this 3-pack router, which was nice). Then I walked through my house and placed one near my PS4 and it was detected quickly as well (takes maybe 10-30 seconds). I hooked up the PS4 directly through ethernet cable as well from PS4 into the back of the router. Each router supports 2 physical ethernet cables. According to tests and reviews on YouTube, hooking up a device to the router directly through ethernet has a slight speed increase, even though routers individually communicate over the air. It doesn't make sense, but my guess is that Eero has optimized communication between devices, which may make it possible to communicate faster between them than WiFi itself. Weird, but it works great.
The last router I then setup in my garage where I never got a good signal. Now I have Wifi at full strength throughout the whole house. Every device that connects to Wifi connects to one or the 3 routers, depending where you are in the house, it will automatically figure out the router with the best signal. You can see it change while walking through the house. The best thing is that outside I was getting 0.5-1Mbps, and now I'm getting around 150-200Mbps. It is literally amazing if you have WiFi dead zones, I recommend this for sure.
I also really like the simplicity of it all, and the features the app gives you. You can disable certain devices (e.g when it's time for your kids to go to sleep, you can assign all their devices to a group profile, and just pause the whole group). Also has some additional features to identify and monitor devices.
Really glad I choose this. there are other choices out there and they probably works all reasonable well, but I did extensive research and from what I read was that this was the easiest to setup. I agree, it was very easy.

I purchased this Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System to replace another conventional Wi-Fi System. I have been using this system in my home (3,200 Sq Ft, 6 Bedroom) and there have been no issues. I have noticed that the Wi-Fi strength from distant locations are much stronger. There have not been any dropped signal issues. The accompanying software is great. Install was very easy. I have noticed that individual units are a bit warm to the touch. Just for safety sake, you defiantly do not want to place anything on top of and in direct contact with a unit.

Very good system but you need to understand the routing component in your set up and whether you need bridge mode or not. I find this system super easy to deploy and great for performance. However their coverage claims are ambitious (it really depends on your space) and be prepared to add units to improve coverage at high speeds. Remember that the key is how much speed you get from your provider to begin with. Play with placement. Again, easy to set up and manage and while not cheap it is a great investment.

2nd set for a 2nd home. Everything I could ask for easy to set up & they work. In 3500 sq ft 1st home: able to keep printer in office far away(floors & walls) from router plus the big bonus was being able to keep old hardwired camera system after we moved router as pods have a port for old hardware. 2nd home 3900 sq ft, although recent installation— no problems- WiFi all over the house—haven’t checked outdoors range yet, currently too cold outside. Price may seem high but the ease & reliability are worth it.

I have used a lot of mesh systems over the last 3 years and this is the best combination of reliability, performance, and ease of use I have found. Googles system comes close but it uses older WiFi 5 technology.
There’s a few other systems that are faster, but harder to use and less reliable, so I find this eero system to be great since it combines decent speed with excellent reliability and ease of use.
Get it when it’s on sale.

I was hesitant to get this as the cost is fairly high and reviews that say there isn’t much you can do under the hood. However, I’m more than happy not having to fiddle around with WiFi extenders and not having dropouts or spotty service. This just WORKS. I have one station in my 2nd story office, and one in my basement I no longer have to mess with POE, Powerline adapters, APs, flashing firmware with tomato, etc. Things just connect and they just work! Very happy.

I'm really impressed with the eero Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System! The setup was straightforward—just plug it in and follow the app instructions, and I was online in no time. The Wi-Fi 6 support means faster speeds and better efficiency, which is perfect for streaming and gaming. I couldn’t be happier with its performance!

I picky about consistent fast internet wifi speeds in my home. I have upgraded my home to include smart switches, dimmers, garage opener, smart lock, hue bulbs, light strips, smart tvs, rokus, amazon tv cube, ring doorbell pro, cameras, ring alarm system and your normal iPad, laptops, etc... I had the orbi and swore by it! I was beginning to notice some degradation with my streaming and roku/smart tv wifi internet speeds. I have 500mb speeds through my provider so should not have issues but the number of devices probably is having an impact. I researched options and the eero kept coming up- netgear had a nice option for wifi6 and I went with it but found I was losing connections - speed was amazing - just not consistently reliable! I finally returned these and gave eero a shot. Had the opportunity to check speeds against the orbi and in some cases they exceeded the orbi and in..some they did not but the speeds were always 200+ and in quite a few cases, near the router, exceeded 500! What has been really impressive is that I've had this system up, working from home and.all devices remain connected with excellent wifi signals. I would constantly lose a signal for a few minutes a couple times a week with ring (always went to cellular backup for my alarm) - I put it on ring. Since I've had the eero6 pro no ring issues at all. All ring devices show excellent signals and stay connected. I did call eero tech support twice. Resolved the issue each time and both were not related to eero but rather my vpn. Easy to reach the tech support team and they know what they're talking about. Very impressed!!! Another plus is the set up - amazingly easy, it was actually enjoyable! Purchase date shows 12/1 but that was the date I returned it for a pri e match and trade-in credit for my orbi Wi-Fi, I've had this since November.

this is the best consumer grade networking solution that I could find. I recently came from an Orbi mesh system that had very poor and inconsistent results throughout my house that is only 2400 square feet. After switching I noticed a world of difference in regards to coverage and speed around the house. I also no longer have random devices disconnecting throughout the day. I did run into a little bit of trouble with my Moen Flo Water Valve and Amazon smart plugs. When it came to the Moen Valve, I found that if you turn off the advanced security and ad blocking options in the app it allows the device to connect directly to the Moen server and then you can re-enable the two options again once pairing is complete. As far as the Amazon smart plugs go I think it was more of an issue on Amazon side because all six of the plugs connected just fine but would become inoperable right away. I left everything aside and gave up in decided to come back to it later that night and everything was now working. This also tells me that amazon's plugs do not work off of a local network connection, they definitely "phone home".
To sum up, if you can afford that eero Pro 6 there's nothing else I would recommend over this. Don't get caught by flashy features and advertising claims because at the end of the day reliability and performance is what matters most.

I have tried many different router/range extender combinations in my small home. Problem is I am trying to get my Wi-Fi signal outside my home to a large shed next to my garage that is used as a work shop. Nothing would get a clear, strong signal out there ….. until now. This system was recommended by the store manager..and he was right on. Easy tho set up. First unit installed in my living room. It’s small and unobtrusive. Second unit installed in my garage about 40 feet away. Great signal there. Third unit installed in shed. Wasn’t expecting much. Had to reposition once or twice to find a good location to receive signal from garage unit. And wow….I have full signal strength in the shed. I’ve never had service work out there before. No lag…no buffering….TV and computer work just as good as the ones in the house. Thank you Sid, Store Manager in Jacksonville, NC for your assistance and finally solving my Wi-Fi issues..

I bought these to replace my Google Wi-Fi 5 mesh system because of the large number of smart devices I was adding to my house. I bought them from BestBuy because they are so much faster than Amazon at delivering items to my house in the NC mountains. Amazon estimated over a week. BestBuy estimated two days and actually got them to me in one day. I have begun using BestBuy for all my electronics purchases for that reason.
The set up was easy and fast. I used my existing SSID name and password, so all my devices connected immediately without any need to change anything for them. The performance is outstanding. I was using five Google units to cover my house because of connection and speed issues in distant rooms. These three routers replaced five I was using before, and improved the performance in the distant locations. I now get my ISP’s 100Mbit rate — the highest available in my location — in every room of my house. I couldn’t happier.
I have read negative reviews — usually by reviewers claiming high levels of expertise — that complain about some narrow, particular issue the prevents them from customizing the system as they wish. If you have that issue, then their views are worth considering. If you’re more like me — a moderately informed consumer looking for an fast, easy, well-functioning mesh system — I’d say, you should buy the eero Pro 6 if it fits your budget.

I replaced an old Netgear router that I owned as opposed to paying Comcat to rent their equipment. This router was fine up until the point where I started working from home in my now finished attic. The WiFi just didn’t reach upstairs all that well, so I looked into mesh WiFi systems. I actually purchased a Linksys system as I’ve had Linksys networking gear in the past. That system gave me nothing but problems.
With eero, it probably took me literally 5 minutes to have everything up and running. SUPER simple to get it all set up with the iPhone app. I now have crazy fast internet in my finished basement, first floor kitchen/living room areas, bedrooms up on the second floor, and my office in the finished attic. I even get good coverage outside in my yard and in the driveway, which is important for me when loading my destination into Waze before taking off for my drive.
Moral of the story here is to just get the eero. It’s 100% worth it, and my wife is a big fan of the look of the eero units compared to the larger Linksys mesh units. A+ purchase!
