Customers are saying

Customers admire the Pro 6E Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (2-pack) for its ease of use and impressive speed, with many noting its strong Wi-Fi coverage and overall performance. The setup process is generally considered straightforward, and the range and signal strength are also appreciated. While some find the system to be a bit expensive and having slightly less features, very few experience lag when streaming or gaming.

Solid simple product easy setup and decently flexible. Ease of adding nodes makes it a good solution. I hoped for better performance given I have 2.5gbps internet and theoretical throughput on WiFi is 1.3gbps I’m seeing about 1/3 to 1/2 those speeds on clients. I understand throughput is in ideal conditions but I at least hoped to push closer to 800-1000mbps. The nodes without wired backhaul definitely suffer a bit of speed degradation. I may move some nodes around to see if wired backhaul improves performance for the satellite nodes. The customization feels limited in the interface. Lack of a web based interface is a bit annoying. The smart band steering and change off for nodes seems solid and it’s a good product for someone looking to improve and simplify their network.

What a difference adding this router and mesh system. Easy to install, solved all my slow down issues from Quantum Fibers 360 mesh (which is good). Highly recommend

These Eero’s for a mesh system are very expensive, but they do work very well. We started with the pro’s, then in order to get the speed we needed went to the pro 6, which got us more of the 1GB speed we’re paying for. But recently we were showing very low upload speed, so we got these pro 6E’s. It turned out the low upload speed was not because of eero. All our Eero’s are hard wired, but most devices connect via wifi. But our computers are hard wired, and recently I clocked 1.2GB download on the computers with a 1GB isp connection! Not too bad!

    Performs well in large home

Moved to a new home (3 levels/3k+ sqft) with fiber internet, my let Google WiFi hubs for some reason were unable to pull over 80mbs around the house. The Eero easily covers the house from a range perspective and manages 400-500mbs throughout it's range. (paying for 600 mbs). Set up easy enough and app is way better to navigate than the Google home app. Is recommend it for large homes with a high # of devices. 2 pods would probably do it for most people.

Replaced a non-working Linksys mesh system with the eero Pro 6EAXE 5400. Setup with very easy and quick with the app. Router covers completely our 2 story home and speeds are excellent. Had great customer service with Best Buy associate being very helpful explaining the various WiFi versions!

The speed is good. Easy set up. I have several devices that are now useless because they only work on 2.4 ghz. The fixes eero describes don’t work for my Brother printer, Eufy security light/camera and B-hyve time will not connect.

    • Brand response from Amazon Devices Customer Support
      Posted .

Hi Rdh684. Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. eero uses a single SSID that allows devices to live on the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz radio frequency. Devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz frequency are still usable with eero. To get these devices set up, you’ll need to temporarily disable the 5GHz bands. Do this in the eero app by tapping on Settings > Troubleshooting > 'My device won't connect', then tapping on the "Temporarily pause 5GHz" button. This will disable 5GHz for 10 minutes, which can help with setting up some 2.4GHz only devices. If you still can’t get your devices connected, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347 so they can troubleshoot further. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

This Eero router was simple to install. In a matter of minutes, i had three units connected to my WiFi. The only brand of smart device that has not yet connected is Wyze. Otherwise, Alexa, Echo devices, entry locks, personal computers and all Apple products connected without problems. I’m thankful the lead technician for my internet provider, C-Spire, recommended this system.

We were having frustrating internet issues with speed and connect-ability. We had Geek Squad come out and assess the situation. In addition to moving our modem, they suggested purchasing the eero Pro 6E system. It’s a game changer. We have had no issues since and our speeds went from less than 100 mps to greater than 600 mps. I would HIGHLY recommend this product if you’re having issues with internet speeds and connectivity.

All around easy setup. I’m just not getting the speeds as advertised. But it’s still pretty darn fast! My speeds are 800 mbps average. No subscription necessary but it offers extra benefits at a low cost. I think most people will not find the subscription necessary. My entire house is cover and my lot. Just over 10,000 ft^2

Just the addition I needed for my whole house WIFI. I was able to add them to my system powered by frontier to take away all dead spots in my home. The app makes it a breeze to set up. I added some brackets that allow me to place the eero on the wall thus providing clear lines of sight for the eero to communicate with one another. The tri- band system makes me feel as though I have future proofed my home for a few years.

The app was so simplistic it guided me through installing and configuration. The speed of these routers is amazing. One router almost filled my entire 3500 sf home. I setup the second and coverage is flawless. I replaced buggy Asus routers that had many more features but required almost daily reboots. Get the Eeros 6e mesh and you will be satisfied

The eero Pro 6E Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E 2 pack is living up to its claim to eliminate dead zones in the house. We have an 1800+ square foot home where the Modem / Router is located at one end of the house. I was looking to purchase another brand of extender but the sales rep / Geek Squad recommended this one. So far, I am pleased with its performance and the set up was fairly simple. Essentially it created a separate WIFI Network and I can monitor it from an app on my phone.

Beats Orbi 6 by Thousands of Miles!

Replaced Orbi with this eero. Had no expectations, but hoped it would be better coverage and ease. I was so pleased with everything! Highly recommended, especially over the Orbi 6 which has become exorbitantly overpriced for what you get. The eero system costs a third of what an Orbi 6 costs and gives me everything and more than I could have imagined. I especially like seeing all of the devices connected to the network.

Instant faster speed. The extenders I bought from AT&T to use with the AT&T router were horrible. Trashed them and bought this. Speeds instantly increased. 1Gb hardwired and ~250-500 Mbps on other devices using WiFi. Setup was extremely easy and the range covers our entire house to include back porch.
