Customers are saying

Customers admire the Pro 6E Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (2-pack) for its ease of use and impressive speed, with many noting its strong Wi-Fi coverage and overall performance. The setup process is generally considered straightforward, and the range and signal strength are also appreciated. Best router hands down. Very easy to install and the app guides you through the process seamlessly. I haven’t experienced a single drop in data or latency.

Super easy to install and set up. This product delivered everything we were looking for. Supports all of our devices and has really extended the range of coverage. Loving it so far! We purchased the wall mounts after the fact.

Love the fact that my Wi-Fi coverage is excellent throughout my entire house with no dead spots. The speeds from my carrier do not seem to be affected. I now have fast connectivity everywhere that I need it... I did not have to relocate my router which was something I was looking into... This provided a much better solution, and I did not have to drill another hole through an exterior wall.

Noticeable upgrade of Google Mesh with WiFi 5

Switched from a Google Mesh WiFi 5 system and the difference is huge. Streaming movies and shows no longer buffer, and game streaming to my TV and Steam Deck is much smoother. Speed tests on my iPhone jumped from ~100 Mbps to consistently 400+ Mbps. Setup was simple, and the performance boost is obvious across all devices. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Each year I had to replace my router, so this will be my third time. I wanted to invest my money into a router that will (should) last for more than a year. The reason why my routers kept dying was the number of devices I had on a single router. Setting up the eero mesh was very easy. Total devices that I have is around 32 which the eero allocated the devices between all the mesh, so hopefully I don't need to replace it for a long time.

Setup is real easy and the mesh system works very well. Tri-band is also really helpful for connecting both old and newer devices. These eero's are a little on the large side, nothing too obtrusive but bigger than units I've seen at other homes.

Easy to deploy, potential privacy issues

N.B.: If you have concerns about the privacy of your network information, this is probably not the device for you. After my old Synology router died from overheating, I thought I would give eero a shot since they're recommended by my ISP, Sonic. Setup was surprisingly simple via the app, and IPv6 just works, which was certainly not true with my last router. Internet access also became noticeably more responsive, which makes sense given the age and failing hardware of my old router. What's a little surprising is that, in my 700 square foot apartment, I see a noticeable decrease in signal strength when I'm just down the hallway. I don't see any packet loss or significant latency, but I would expect the signal to be stronger. A potential caveat with regard to the app-based setup: the app works even outside the network, which implies that the router is using a cloud-based service for configuration. This raises a few concerns. First of all, the router has administration access exposed to the Internet. Second, if eero goes out of business, the router will cease to be manageable, since the cloud service will go away. Finally, eero's privacy policy indicates that they don't track your Internet activity, but they do collect information such as your SSIDs, the hardware on your network, and network utilization and associate that information with you, personally. Their privacy policy indicates that this information may be shared with "affiliates," so make of that what you will. Due to the app-based nature of management, people who really want to fiddle with their network will probably be dissatisfied. The app is very easy to use and shows quite a lot of information, but certain functionality, such as presenting daily or monthly network statistics, is only available if you buy a subscription to eero Plus. The app did show me that my HP printer was somehow downloading exactly 1 GB of data daily and uploading about 850 MB, but there's no way to get traffic analysis out of the router to see what the printer was connecting to, although perhaps this functionality is available in eero Plus. And, of course, the curse of the mobile app is that it tries periodically to upsell you on the subscription and business offerings. Pros: * Easy to set up * Fast * Great IPv6 support Cons: * Somewhat limited range * Advanced features require subscription * Only one physical network port, so connecting more than one wired device requires a separate switch * Cloud-based service raises privacy, security, and longevity concerns On balance, I recommend the product for speed and ease of use, but I have some misgivings about the privacy implications of the company's data collection and would very much prefer to have the option to disable or restrict that capability.

My Internet provider supplied me with an Eero Pro and a standard Eero mesh setup when I started my service, but when Best Buy had a sale on the newer Eero Pro 6E 2-pack, I decided to try it. So far, I haven't noticed a significant speed difference, but it was already pretty fast at 1 gigabyte. I can say unequivocally that the signal is stable and fast, and I know that there is more in reserve should I move to a larger space. I have one unit as the base unit attached to my modem, and the other unit is the satellite router upstairs. I take advantage of the two ethernet ports on each unity to maximize the signal speed and stability, but the wireless capability is really impressive as well. I am confident that this Eero Pro 6E tri-band mesh system will meet my Internet needs for many years to come.

FAST wireless for a great price. I had also recently updated my Comcast Router to 802.11ax, but I continued using my 5 yo eero mesh routers. I wanted to wait until Wifi7 was released to upgrade. But I started dealing with some performance issues. Given I am a full-time remote worker, I can't afford to have connectivity issues, so when BestBuy marked these down, I jumped on it. So even though I might be replacing them in less than 2 years, I am SO glad I upgraded. These things are FAST! I have read plenty of articles that said to wait, but the jump in performance I am experiencing, makes this investment MORE than worth it.

I live in a 2-floor town house. My second-floor router was connected to Xfinity cable internet system. I was getting only 50 MB/S speeds with Xfinity's top-tier Xfi unlimited data system, and the connection with our main TV on the first floor. I replaced the xfinity "Gateway" unit (combo router and modem) with a Arris Surfboard 2.4 GB modem and the top-tier Eero 6E AXE5400 Tri-band router and external pods. Eero walked me through the install, which required placing the downstairs pods in just the right spot to cover the TV which was downstairs and at the other end of the house. After the install, my typical internet speed went from 50 MB/S with xfinity to 950 MB/S with the Eero system. TV reception, which depends upon the WiFi, now is flawless, fast, and reliable for the first time. The Eero system is expensive, but has been the only one that works well in our townhouse!

I previously had a Google wifi extender (regular and the pros) and this completely dominates it. The range is much better, and speeds are up all around. I now receive download/upload speeds my provider markets, as opposed to getting 5-10% of it before.

Part of the upgrade from EERO 6 to this EERO PRO 6E in order to run 1.2 gig bit speed for the household. But it is little pricey but it is worth the upgrade to do this.

I replaced my second modem for this after 3 Best Buy employees told me in different store visits that it was they used and were very satisfied. They were right! My house is 4,200 sq ft, 5 people, only streaming entertainment and 3 gamers, most times simultaneously. No complaints at all from the streamers and gamers. Very satisfied. My only advise is to move the terminals around until you find the sweet spot where the speed is optimal in all devices. It took 2 tries for me.

pros: It's a fast wifi with easy setup and decent range between units. cons: Each unit only has 2 ports. Simple IP/Website blocking is locked behind a paid subscription(This has been a historically free feature with any other brand of WiFi Router that I have used in the past). I'm not going to purchase Eero again.
